When a man wants to advance in life, he leaves his lazy or dormant friend or friends.

@stevenwilliams3015 Only an imbecillo that did not know that the 3 military captured countries APPLIED TO ECOWAS to ALLOW them leave ECOWAS. The ECOWAS has approved it now. They are landlocked countries so their citizens who are currently helpless due to criminal coup plotters that captured their countries will have to reapply in future if they manage to free themselves from criminal coup plotters.

Install democracy from a barrel of a gun. Mr Arise “Analyst” must have forgotten how that turned out in the Middle East

Frank Tietie is partly correct in this discussion. He is to a large extent correct but forgot that only a military man can rule naija as strong president simply because of the wrong political structure that is military style. The truth here is that ECOWAS was set up by military juntas in West Africa. So it needs to be reorganized for democratic system. Also, the inability of ECOWAS to insist on only fully restructured parliamentary system of government in all member states is what makes ECOWAS so weak. There was no way that Tinubu could use military force because northern naija already opposed it. This would not have been the case if Nigeria is full parliamentary system. To make naija a strong nation, the country must be fully restructured to parliamentary system. Otherwise after every election, the one tribe leader that wins will never be supported by the loser tribes. Hence a weak president will be the fate of naija going forward..

Why should Arise News allow that man to talk on this issue? He is talking about enforcing democracy when the last election in Nigeria resulted from a coup against the wishes of Nigerians.
Forget about the sahel states and concentrate on making Nigeria a true democracy or rather evolve a governance system that is tied to our African cultures and traditions instead of copying European ideologies that never work in Africa.

Arise TV Host @ 07:29 "we *seems* to focus...", SMH.
Correct grammar: "we *seem* to focus...", it's called Subject-Verb Agreement.
