    my food processor does the same thing, the fuse would blow when we also were shredding cheese, your idea on using an external fuse is an excellent idea, so i will be doing the same fix, thank for sharing your idea on a great way to fix the food processor

      @9694maw, thanks so much for the positive feedback! These machines are great but blow fuses way too easily. The external fuse makes it a lot easier to confidently use the machine, know that if it blows you can fix it in about 20 seconds. I taped a box of twenty fuses to the bottom of the machine so they're always handy. Thanks again, and in case you haven't already, I'd really appreciate it if you could subscribe. Cheers!

    thanks a lot for sharing this great idea!
    I was hesitant to "just" replace the fuse, because I was afraid it would just blow again and then you'd have to do all the soldering etc. again.
    Now I installed the external fuse holder and it works just fine, and I do have a couple of fuses spare in case another replacement is needed.
    The PCB board layout on the european version looks quite different, but I was able to figure out where the wires need to go.
