Join us for a walking tour of the Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando for a look around the Rosen Inn nearest Icon Park and the epic Millers Ale House.
Situated at the quieter end of International drive this budget friendly hotel is a great base for an Orlando Holiday with or without hiring a car.
Would we stay again ?

Rosen Inn @ Pointe will always have a special place in our hearts. It's perfect if you want a relaxing stay after busy days in the parks but still offers a variety of entertainment and stores nearby. We've loved every minute, we just like the busier atmosphere of the Rosen Inn International location and how close it is for our walk to Walmart.

We stayed there last May and really couldn’t fault the place. Had an amazing stay there.
Only reason we aren’t staying there again is my little lad really loved the water park in coco key.
Not really ones for the water park but never say never 😁
@@carbslayer One of the best things for us was hopping on the dockside bus, then it’s only a short walk to the hotel. Saved a fortune on Ubers.
@@TheMesmerizingCollective yes we get the lynx bus pass for universal, the 38 drops you right off there and it's only 16 dollars for the whole weeks unlimited travel
Stayed there in November just gone..love it there great hotel clean and the staff are very nice..just across the road from my favourite bar miller ale house..great vlogs keep them coming..👍

I like the rosens, they used to be Quality Inn, that one and the 7600 adress one behind mcdonalds, the one thats called closest to universal used to be rodeway inn, stayed at them all in the past, basic but perfect for me.

I've stayed at three of the Rosen's over the years and even though we have stayed at Pointe for the last three trips and going back again in April the international inn is like you have said better because of the amount of restaurants within a short walking distance. That being said that area of I drive could do with some investment because it's certainly not recovered as well as the Pointe area after covid😢.

@@carbslayer Epic should have a major impact on all of idrive but only time will tell. Oh I'm sure we will bump into each other and have wandered down to Longhorns or have a carb overload at CiCs🤣

Were the opposite we love the pointe area (we have stayed a few times at Rosen Plaza next to this one) we love the walk down to the busy area and going back to a more chilled area 😂 brilliant vlog again always enjoy your Florida vlogs

I have nothing against Tui, but do your research and bare in mind you have to add another 90 minutes travelling to I- drive area and after a long flight 😬. But it comes down to money for us all at the end of the day. Have a great trip when you go, you’ll love it .👍🏻
@@adelejones5059 thanks for you’re advice Adele . Since i won’t be driving what’s the best advice you can give me how to get from the airport to international drive . I know Uber is an option .
Yeah that's a point I think TUI fly to Melbourne airport and not Orlando MCO. Melbourne is alot further away from I Drive than MCO so I. Guessing the Uber will cost significantly more
@@ThePrestonExplorer hi, sometimes you can book a transfer with the travel company ie virgin , pay extra , Tui is included as it’s so faraway from airport if your staying near universal. We stayed at dockside in sept and paid extra for private transfer so we didn’t have to wait for lots of people getting on coaches etc(was around same price) but we did tip driver on top of a hefty transfer price.but I believe Uber would be cheaper. Mears do transport to but Uber will be easier I guess. Sorry it’s a bit long winded😬. We Prefer universal parks over Disney. So like to stay close to I-drive. Also 🤪 depends how many people are going 👍🏻 hope this helped a little.
We are staying at the International in Sept, we stayed there in 2018 and agree it is in the middle of everything base to explore, thank you again for another enjoyable & informative vlog

Totally agree, love the Pointe, but love the cheap food near International more 🤣🤣 and since watching your walking to walmart vlogs, we've started walking so International shaves off 20mins. Thanks for showing the walk around, don't really see it properly while staying.

So glad to see the walking to Walmart video helped people, we've had so many say they started walking there now they know the way. We've heard of a shorter route that we're going to investigate in March
Smooth Java does the absolute best chocolate ice cream. I don’t normally eat ice cream but had one most nights on my visit x
We've never had an ice-cream from there. We are heading back to Pointe to film a few things in March so might just have to have a look 😁
US 101 please tip your servers. They are grossly underpaid, and make the same small amount regardless if you have a coupon or not. I know it's different across the pond, but when in Rome and all that lol. And I watched this full video and you didn't show the room?!?! That is the most important thing!
BTW my problem with staying outside the parks has never had anything to do with the hotel, but transportation. One lovely resort left me stranded in WDW, in a dark, isolated parking lot. (Not only were they supposed to have a shuttle running, I had booked on it, so they knew the had a guest in the park). I had to take a ride home with a guy I had met that day, which seemed safer than waiting for alt transport where I was. Terrible choice. This led me to many convos and hearing many similar stories. I would not hesitate to stay outside if I was spending more time in Orlando, hitting the outlets, etc. But if I'm in WDW, I'll be on property. Although since they nuked the Magical Express they have made it less attractive.
We do always tip the servers, I guess the reason I mentioned it was the set up that when you have a coupon you don't go to the till to pay and as it's a self service buffet the only time you actually see a server is if you have a drink. I didn't show the room as we have done that a few times before on previous vlogs and the rosen rooms are all pretty much the same. We never rely on the shuttle busses for the exact reason that you can't be sure they will arrive.

@@carbslayer Ahhhh....I've been known to tip more moderately (still well lol) for buffets. And while I've watched countless Disney and Disney adjacent videos, I never saw one of yours before until YT was kind enough to suggest it. So I clicked lol. So I missed any similar room tours. And I rented a car the next day!!! I was meeting friends for an official in parks, long weekend vaca in a few days, and had gone earlier to meet up with some friends and have some extra sun time. Needless to say, paying solo for an on property room, even back then, would have been super costly. I too am glad I lived to tell the tale lol

Hi can you get to the premium outlets easily from Rosen inn at pointe?
Yes you can either use the Lynx bus or the Itrolly. The stop for both is just outside the Rosen.

@donnahoward9384 if you were going to the premium outlets you would be on the opposite side of the road to the Rosen. If you want to go to Vineland outlets then you want the same side as the Rosen. Don't be sorry for asking questions, we love to help 😁

That is a big complex and stayed at Rosen inn international and Rosen lake buena vista. Even though similar I am with you that international is better located
The international location suits us more even though we do love Pointe. Anything to be closer to Walmart 🤣
Is the international quieter? I heard the road noise is really bad at the point?
We've never really found either of them noisy to be honest, weve faced the I4 at Pointe and couldn't hear it when the door was closed. The location of the International is much busier but it is set back from the road and when you're in the room it's quiet enough
Stayed ter few years ago. Never again. Great clean hotel. Biggest drawback. Being put in a room facing the interstate 4. The noise too much. Non stop.
We werent facing the i4 this time so it was ok for noise
What I do is send them an email requesting a particular block a couple of weeks before I arrive and the couple of times I’ve been they’ve given me what I requested, I’ve stayed on the top floor of block D facing I drive, it’s nice and quiet and good views.
