Everything is extremely clean. Looks like it belongs in a TV advertisement
That is the most clean lathe machine I've seen in my entire life
It’s nice to see professionals that know how to treat their machines. Quality and precision can only come from well treated tools.
Such beautiful photography and story telling.
Greetings fellow machinists 👋🏻, I never comment in videos so this is a first, you sir embody the Japanese culture, efficient , high quality and precision , creative with the simplest tools , your craft is pleasing to the eye , excellent job sir .

another class in machining i have learnt ,thankyou again Swap Lamp
Beautiful work
You didn’t show anywhere for those that don’t know that you used the top slide to cut the taper. A major oversight if this is intended to be educational.
Thank you for sharing mate! I really enjoyed it. I will Try to make one 🙏
Nice fit! Very professional
Nice work. We shared this video on our homemade tools forum this week 😎
Good work 👍 and great efforts for reaching accuracy...
A pleasure to watch as always

This is good for watching but to teach people, be sure to accompany the video with words, this is even better if not this magnificent
Nice to watch your careful workmanship. Old Retired Machinist worked in Job Shops, we learned to Tap under power. Give it a try, you're going to be surprised how easy it is.
True machinist 100%
This beautiful 😍
Great work like everytime. 👍👍👍👍👍 I'm a bit jealous for your lathe.
What lathe is it?
Very well done.
NICELY done
nice work
Good lathe .
Hi, nicely presented. Understandable. Nice looking high quality lathe. Getting Morse Tapers within tolerance is a demanding job. Well done. If you can find translations of George Thomas' books they would be well worth a read.
Excelente Amigo!
So Great
Amazing finish, I've done far worse on my surface grinder.
Beautiful
Good job….👍🏼
You really trust in chuck jaws concentricity to use your lathe as a mill.

This channel rivals TITANS OF CNC for subscribers and views.
Both great channels but unusual numbers none the less.
Nice job. What insert is that You used for finishing?
Thank you for watching.
Sumitomo Electric's T1500A cermet.
I thought the dial indicator was stuck :O)
What lathe are you doing the job on
Thank you for watching.
Washino LR-55A.
What oil are you using?
Thank you for watching.
The cutting oil I use is Castrol Variocut C210.

What kind of lathe is that?
Thank you for watching.
It is a model called Washino's LR-55A.
👍💐
👍👍👍❤️
ThanK you 👍❤️
Thank you for watching ❤️
@@SwaplampJapan ThanK you 👍❤️
Senban ikura desuka?? Watashi ha indonesia jin desu
Thank you for watching.
This lathe was manufactured by specially reproducing a past mass-produced lathe, so it cost 8 million yen.
When it was mass-produced, it was available for 3.5 million yen.
Nowadays, it is common to buy second-hand, with good condition ones selling for 800,000 yen, and badly used ones selling for around 150,000 yen.
I mean 先生 as more polite term for not natural ”あなた”, hope that I wrote upper sentence well. Did I any mistakes? I would expect only honne :)
Did You used insert for finish with 0,2 mm radius of corner?
Thank you for watching.
The first half of the sentence is very natural.
The second half of the sentence is a little confusing.
If it is not in the above order, it may not make sense.
”先生” is a word used for people with particularly excellent knowledge and skills, and confident people are happy to be called that, but it is also used for ironic purposes to demean arrogant people, so be careful.
That's right. For finishing, I used an insert with a nose radius of 0.2mm.
@@SwaplampJapan Thank You for helpful counsels, I used 先生 term, because in my textbooks is written, that "あなた" is designed for especially case(for example: If we do not know a name of our interlocutor), but when I talk with unkown for me person which is great in certain field, I think i ought use 先生. If I know his name, I'll call him with his name and adequate suffix, nonetheless what I can do if I do not know his name, while he deserves for calling him 先生? Supposing existing many rude phrase like "てめえ"、"お前"、"貴様". As casual words I found only 2 acceptable ways to say "You", "お前さん"、"あんたさん".
@@nerokuwa4607
You understand very well.
I think it's okay to use "先生" because you can't make a mistake in calling "先生".
In recent years, as long as there is no direct hierarchical relationship, there is no problem in calling anyone "あなた".
Not a good idea
what brand is the lathe? looks beautiful
Thank you for watching.
The lathe brand is Washino.
The model is LR-55A.
