Thanks for sharing this for those of us who couldnt attend! Love you besties
Love that you are using your platform for informing voters 👍
"Let's go over there and 'lecture' them." And you wonder why China is unwilling to talk to you.
Yes, the audacity of our country is truly deplorable.
Nobody went to lecture China on having Gain-of-Function virus labs, in the middle of cities where the population resides. The result, a global pandemic virus outbreak.
Let's not forget when China was coming out of their 'dark ages' they tried to follow the US model/way but instead we exploited them and pillaged them along with the rest of the European forces. Then we sorta ask ourselves why don't trust or want to follow our ways.
history.state.gov/countries/issues/china-us-relations
China isn't unwilling to listen to lectures. The US sells weapons to Taiwan or sanctions Chinese companies leading up to talks as a negotiating chip.
Engaging in dialog is to china arithmatcally equivalent to engaging in military and diplomatic hostility against itself.
@@eusebiou-say-bee-oh326why is that ?.
I’m so impressed with Ro Khanna. Just count the number of applause he has. He should run for the President. So well spoken. So knowledgeable. So sensible.
Too brown to be President but definitely should be an actively working behind the scene
J Cal can’t even go 5 minutes without the derangement setting in.
The BEST guest you have had so far BECAUSE he said things you and your audience disagree with. More like this please....
Business leaders leading discussions with politicians is the formula. ✅
Well done guys
Thank u for sharing , Mr. khanna views and bipartisanship is really needed for more employment and raising the middle class.
"Let's go over there and 'lecture' them." And you wonder why China is unwilling to talk to USA.
Ro has never replied to any of my emails and I'm a constituent in his district. I'm pissed because I've written to him about 10 times and I only receive invites to his town hall meetings. I expected at least a message saying I agree or not. I've also tried asking him questions on X (Twitter). I get that on X he has no way of verifying that I'm his constituent. How ironic the theme of his talk is lack of communication (with China) BTW, I sometimes agree with his policies. Anyway, few constituents engage. As a result of his lack of communication, I despise him and never will vote for him again.
He does townhalls a gazillion times a year .go to one of those
what was it that you wanted to ask him?
@@VARMOT123 Like most Americans that write to congress they receive answers and acknowledgements. I've followed this tradition for decades and Ro is the first who has completely ignored me. I guess he expects everyone to stand in line at a town hall and give a sound bite vs receiving detailed and thoughtful ideas. If he doesn't want to listen and follow tradition, he shouldn't be representing anyone.
@@videosuperhero100 I've written to him about the debt and inflation. Separately, I've written to him about the "Economic report of the president March 2023". Most recently I wrote to him about "The Federal Reserve approving licenses of full cash banks. Some have questions and some have ideas. Some are enhancements to his ideas and some he's never mentioned.
@@Ellerich800 well don't take it too personally, my rep hasn't responded to anything I've messaged. Who knows if they ever even get the messages
Absolutely 12 or 18 years in the Senate maximum. No stocks and no lobbyist's jobs. The government should be public servants, not professional politicians.
Gold, gold everywhere. Thanks for sharing the sessions!
Hearing Ro talk about building up the middle class and holding the business class responsible was a hilarious juxtaposition with the many conversations the besties have had on the all in podcast. The besties, especially Chamath, have tended to resist any notion of the business class or the wealthy being responsible for the hollowing out of our middle class. No one should be surprised when Chamath’s main point in this discussion was that regulations caused the middle class to shrink and push out industry… blame anything and anyone else besides the greed of the business class.
They exported jobs to China.
perhaps this with be Chamath's Michael Jackson "man in the mirror" moment.
True, when he said no one was concerned about industrial jobs leaving the US because people will get other jobs, that is Chamath and the besties for [fill in the blank] corporate decision.
I am firmly a believer in building myself and the people around me up and not waiting for a handout, but the goal shouldn’t be to constantly keep carrot and sticking the public. If the largest portions of our society aren’t better off even with all these resources running through big corporations, then what has been accomplished?
Massive profit for shareholders
Perhaps roy, if he really cares about the middle class, shouldn't have voted to send billions to urkaine and help Americans instead. But you're probably that fool
Excellent. More please.
Nice I've been hoping yall would get Ro on All In!
Thank You for this speaker, discussion & upload
Thank you for having the summit! It would be great to have some Q&A from the audience members.
You guys are always on point. Great series keep up the good work.
Thanks for sharing Besties.
As someone who complains in the comments about J Cal… I have to say, in front of an audience he is simply perfect. Wow… Bravo J Cal, give this man an audience for every episode.
@@MTT818 fair… so far he’s great. The verdict is still out and evaluations are ongoing. He’s off to a good start.
Except for trying to blame a lack of steel plants on current immigration policy lmao
Did we watch the same video?? Huh??
@@miked2205 you have to admit, he was funny.
@@chickenfishhybrid44 it’s simple arithmetic… more immigrants equals more steel plants. Problem solved. Next!
Wow, stoked for this.
Congressman Ro Khanna. An Establishment goon. Orthodox Democrat. I couldn't listen to more than 3 minutes of his monologue.
Thank you for sharing this for those of us who could not attend. I wish there are more people who would listen to both side of aisle.
Brilliant like always! Thanks for sharing the All in summit too
Im watching from Portugal!
The "shadow government" portion should really be connected to the term limit debate! When Representatives are temporary, staff is forever!

He is amazing at dodging questions and giving platitudes
That’s all I could think while watching this. He’s S-tier at sounding like he cares and has solutions while not even understanding the question let alone the problem let alone a solution
@@omnimoeish He gave a clear solution on fixing social security. You just don't like it.
Exactly! He did not answer any real question
Microaggression
@@Alexadria205 True enough. I'd rather have social security tax start again for those making over $400k like Biden promised while campaigning. It seems Democrats' solutions are to just tax the middle class more and more each year. I think it would be more fair to have a capital gains tax increase since that's how actual rich people make their money.
Great stuff per usual. Please start the All In Summit 2023 playlist.
Sacks looks like one of the declaration of independence signers, Chamath looks like a loro piana male super model, Friedberg looks like a scientist up to no good and is probably planning world domination, and Jason looks like a liberal writer.
🤣
I am really enjoying this conversation. It's wonderful!
Love Ro’s comment on debt being ok for productive investment. That’s an important nuance that I missed in the debate on this topic on the pod
Great conversation.
24:37 This is the best part. Where he explains why he doesn’t think Robert F Kennedy Jr. Is “ready” to be president and then says he supports Biden and the entire audience booed.
Worth mentioning: I was at this event the entire two days and nothing got booed like this. Biden is done and anyone on record supporting him will be done, too.
The hollowing out of America started when in 1971 we stopped linking the dollar to gold and introduced fiat money. That is when the Financial Sector started displacing Manufacturing, and marked the start of an increase in the wealth gap. Monetary policy is the root of our demise.
DIdn't start it, but possibly did allow it.
Great talk
Very good Summit.
All in .. is knocking it out the park
David Sacks's hair gives me George Washington vibes
I love you and I love it and please share more more more😊
Very much hope that Ro Khanna considers running for President in the future.
Really good interview, changed my perspective on him.
good. the right wing mainstream media always paints every dem in a bad light
What was it before this?
Terrific Thank you for sharing guys.
You guys have picked them up on the correct order...
more please 😁
Thank You for this speaker, discussion & upload. Bestie's = THE BEST
These interviews are great. Ro is a good guy.
I wish I could have gone to the live event! Darn it!!
😢
❤❤❤❤❤
Great guest!
The fact that he is supporting Biden to run for the next election without talking about the mental and the physical health of Biden made me think that He just says things that sounds good rather than look at the reality that’s currently on ground, ideas and solutions that are implementable and the actual challenges we are facing as a country.
Agreed, lets put the insurrectionist that leaks US secrets in!
I agree. He definitely could have stepped up and had courage to not tow the party line but ultimately he is not presenting anything new and not behaving in any different manner than the people he criticizes.
He could easily stand up and talk about other Democratic candidates that aren't Biden or talk about other Republican candidates like Vivek etc or even independents but once again it's easy to waffle it's harder to do an maintain your principles.
exactly right. Some stuff sounds good but that level of intellectual dishonesty throws all the rest in doubt.
@@theimprooooooooverYou saw it better than I did.
Hear hear!: "You know what is unpatriotic? The hollowing out of this country! Where were these voices for the past 40 years?"
🙌
Good show
I really like this guy 🎉 common sense is the best approach ever 😁
❤ that talk. Don’t really know him but he’s very pragmatic
J Cal already contributes next to nothing, but once the unemployment rate starts to invariably increase, he will literally have nothing left.
FINALLY someone who understands the disappearance of the middle class, and what IS a middle class. Thank you Ro Khan!!!! Permit reform is not the only solution....let's get back to common sense!
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Ro Khanna has my deepest respect!!
Great guy
How can you honestly back a demented person...politics as usual. We the people should not accept this choice.
Yup I don't know how anyone can back the likes of Trump, Desantis, or Vivek Ramaswamy. Totaly demented.
Thanks for the Summit & the Pod, gents!!
‘I support Biden’. lol
He lost all credibility after that comment. Can't see the evil in front of him
There is no other option than Trump or Biden this coming election. Obviously you can't support the guy that almost overthrew the republic.
Geez Sacks! No softballs just dove right in!
"Now you know what it's like to be me in the TH-cam comments" 😂
Wow
Keep up the great work
Great start guys, expecting more fire tho. I can see jcal still recovering from the comments.
I hope Ro runs for Prez someday🤞🏻
Ro is a very sensible leader
Why can't we do all these things? Cost of labor, cost of liability, cost of regulation, etc. All these things go away if you manufacture in certain other countries.
Wow! What an awesome talk!
More conversations with political representatives are NEEDED like this instead of the quick canned response on Mockingbird Media. There's many people and ideas I disagree with Ro Khanna on, but he was extremely honest within his position and his party.
David Sacks was really quiet but he usually is even on the Podcast -- a very good listener before he discusses topics (or argues passionately with Jason).
This is Sparta.
That's the problem, people want to deny that theres even any challenge to trying to have a multi racial society.
First off I'll say, yes, I'm 75 and receive over $2200/mo from SS and a small retirement ($180/mo) so maybe more than some but I paid into SS all my life and for 8 yrs after I started receiving SS due to a small business i ran until 2020. I have actually heard of cutting back on SS by means testing. Mr Khanna suggests we dump the cap on paying into SS to make it solvent. I think that's a great idea since most will have someone in their family who will benefit by SS. On top of that let's means test all who would receive SS. If I have an income of $400K I certainly don't need to receive SS yet wouldn't hurt to support it. Maybe we drop the employer side so as not to affect business too much. It's the same reasoning behind tax brackets. With a large salary I would have more disposable income than many, So I'm in a 21%, 28%, 35% tax bracket. What do I care, i have the income to create tax shelters etc. Now if we move to a flat tax and I spend a lot of my disposable income on luxury items, guess what? Now i'm paying some real taxes. I've paid property taxes many more years than I had children in schools and was happy to do it. Now I have grand-kids and great grand-kids enjoying the benefits of my property taxes. Enough said here and i love all of you..,,.bobby.,.,..BTW defense spending/ definitely should have audits and the extra goes to the men and women serving us. C'mon people
I wonder if JCal genuinely believes he’s asking sensible questions
So he shouldn't ask about Biden's situation and let the guest wrestle with is own answer?
Are you guys going to post the Ray Dalio session? Really keen to hear it.
It was very good. I’m sure you’ve seen it by now.
The Elon part is on X
If it's a business issue you know who to elect as President.
Who?
Seek power not love!
Nice discussion! The fact that Ro Khanna says things he knows are going to be unpoplular with the audiance just reinforces my impression of him as an honest politician.
Ro Khanna sounds like a great Street Fighter character name
Finally!
Good guest, the real politician. Speaking soo smoothly for any type of the audience. But heck, the last one got me: "the sense that we have monopoly on the truth we got to have more humillity to be able to have conversations with empathy, not just judgement". Damn, just recall JCal fighting Sacks every time when he's bringing about the Ukraine situation. empathy? humility? no monopoly on the truth? please.
Never heard of this politician before but he's very impressive
This guy can be the next president
Except for the China part, which was restrained by the anti-Chinese atmosphere, the subsequent calls for political reform were very admirable.
This is great but the volume is low
LOOK HOW TALL CHAMATH IS
Do WE have naval superiority?
Let’s not find out
Finally someone who had courage to speak to the record low unemployment levels and what that looks like on the ground. Love the All-In-Guys. I’m a weekly subscriber but they tend to miss the point on this one.
You said “lecture them”
Jeez I guess I’m first to say great episode!
Ro had some very good points, but some require further probing
If Biden gets out of the way, this guy should run
Ro Khanna should run for President, he’d be a much better than Joe and Kamala!
First build society....
Easy way.
Cut taxes to 10% flat
Cut nomenklatura 90%
That all
