This band literally saved my life. People say music can’t save your life, only you can yourself. But if it wasn’t for this band I wouldn’t be here today. All their music has a positive message. They are huge advocates for heavy music and the people that see it and take it in as more than just music. It can literally be a life line. It’s sad it’s highly overlooked and mostly looked at in a smug manner mostly here in the USA.
Hatebreed has helped me get through some really rough times in my life I've had the privilege of seeing them 10 times over the last almost 20 years.as a die hard it makes me happy to see you enjoying a band that has brought me years of joy and black eyes and busted noses and lips lol horns high man \m/
Same, Jasta might as well have pulled me through the shit personally with how much their music helped. Seen them a few times, best time was a show with just them and Lamb of God. Just an amazing show overall, both some of the best bands to see live.
Hatebreed are my pick me up band. "This is now", "I will be heard", "live for this" and "every lasting scar" are just a few examples of my favorite songs
Do some Chimaira You heard Hatebreed before a while back. I cannot remember the song. Edit: I believe it was the song Live For This or I Will Be Heard. Edit: Here you go, Alex. th-cam.com/video/MmUp8i_5p9c/w-d-xo.html - This should be the Hatebreed reaction you did. I am glad you like them. They're an awesome band.
Well it was also my first time hearing Hatebreed - I like it too. Awesome message intertwined within the video, that subtle touch that speaks volumes. This way the fan that is having problems see that they are not alone, not the only one. Keep Rockin' and #HaveADopeAssDay !! (Tell Mom she's great even though I am sure she knows. 💜)
Hatebreed are a band with very heavy music but, rather often, very positive and inspirational lyrics. One of my favourite albums of theirs is The Divinity of Purpose, and I highly recommend the title track along with Own Your World, Honor Never Dies, Before the Fight Ends You, and Nothing Scars Me.
HELLO FROM NEW ENGLAND...I'M A CT. BOY AND HATEBREED IS A CT. BAND AND I REMEMBER SEEING THEM PLAY TO LIKE 50 PPL AT AN OLD HAUNT CALLED THE HANOVER HOUSE..GREAT TO SEE JAMIE AND THE BOYS STILL KICKING ASS AND YAKING NAMES...PEACE FROM THE NORTHEAST....
Hatebreed is pure intensity. What I think they do not get enough credit for is the positive message they convey through there music. This song, I Will Be Heard, Honor Never Dies...these songs speak to me of personal responsibility, positivity and survival. If you are ever feeling down, depressed or feel that the world is too much, play some Hatebreed and talk to someone, anyone. Hatebreed is saying that all of us are important and valuable and that is especially needed today.
Bro I'm a huge fan and swore I've seen all of your reactions..Hatebreed is one of my all-time favorite bands I have no idea how I've never seen this 😳.. popped up on my feet while watching them live..ANY Hatebreed track would be much appreciated.. you will not be disappointed with any
Hatebreed is obviously one of the most aggressive metal bands that I heard in a long time. This song really shows their aggression on their music and albums basically.
In Ashes They Shall Reap was my introduction to Hatebreed, and I've loved them ever since! Jamey Jasta (the lead singer) also fronts Kingdom Of Sorrow! Another awesome band! \m/
Jamey jasta is such an awesome guy, super nice, I’ve played on stage with him for one song and let me tell you, that was the best 4 minutes of my life. A picture of that day is my profile picture. Hatebreed is awesome also, super nice guys and they put on a hell of a show! I recommend listening to more of then and seeing them live
The singer, Jamey Jasta, did a podcast recently with Toby Morse of H2O. It is really good and I’d highly recommend it. It goes pretty in-depth on Jamey’s life. If anyone is curious it’s the One Life One Chance Podcast episode 40.
F-ing LOVE Hatebreed! Seen em so many times, because for the longest time they were fairly local to us here in Massachusetts. A moshing-good time was had by all. 🤘😜
"Once I had a shotgun to the head and they said I wasnt worth the bullets" "They". Dont think its suicidal. More like his enemies think he's worthless and isnt worth killing
Just a friendly bit of history for yourself as a late metalhead. Hatebreed are Giants in hardcore punk from the 90s. Definitely inspired by Earth Crisis and such bands. The time when punk merged with metal and cultivated the "breakdowns" that you enjoy a lot. Pantera are a metal band to definitely thank for inspiring punk to cultivate the breakdown. Also there's "slams" which are death metal breakdowns inspired by hip hop due to slam bands being inspired by New York (where a lot of the breakdown came from). PS: Hatebreed and metal influenced hardcore of the 90s, as well as melodic death metal, helped create metalcore
OK this is your Starter Kit Hatebreed Playlist: Perseverance I Will Be Heard Seven Enemies In Ashes they Shall Reap To The Threshold Everyone Bleeds Now
Your mother's reaction reminds me of 25 years ago when my mom first heard hardcore. Once you get past the hard music and actually listen, you find out that it's really good shit.
The song Perseverance is BADASS!!! Check that one out... No B.S. it's easily my favorite song, and the message is awesome!! Please react to Hatebreed~Perseverance...you won't be disappointed!
Still catching up on old videos.... Fun fact..... It was either the 2001 or 2000 ozfest, David Draiman, of Disturbed, known for having an ego issue, and ran his mouth to Jamie Jasta of Hatebreed.... Well Jamie dropped him, and Hatebreed proceeded to get moved up the European ozfest so they didn't have to worry about them bumping into each other again.
And the Madre comes out swingin' again! My goodness your videos are fun with a second party, your mom being my favorite co-pilot. She's got the embarrassmode on point, she's got the jokes AND she's got a killer poker face. Now, I do believe she likes the drummer best but, let's cut her some slack. She was in some BAD COMPANY back in the day. The song was pretty dope. First time hearing Hatebreed as a whole, as I've heard Jamey Jasta (lead singer) featured on a 5FPD song. The message was rough but important. Depression is such a fucking bastard. Too many people are succumbing to the darkness an the world is without another beautiful soul. The Bass player from Shinedown, SHINEDOWN, one of the most successful rock bands in the game today with a crazy amount of fans, suffers from depression. He had this long message on his IG today and all I wanted to do was sit and talk to him. Get him out of that head space. The guy is super talented and incredibly intelligent. That being said, I'd love for your mom to react to Shinedown. They have a song called ".45" which deals with suicide but "Save Me" is a more powerful tune. Either way, I think she'll dig the band. #HaDAD #LifeIsLikeABoxOfChocolates #SubscribeMF

I saw them open for OG Sepultura in ‘96. It was fire.
This band literally saved my life. People say music can’t save your life, only you can yourself. But if it wasn’t for this band I wouldn’t be here today. All their music has a positive message. Same here. Only seen them 4 times but I've left completely mangled and at peace, every time. Love 'em.
Same, Jasta might as well have pulled me through the shit personally with how much their music helped. Seen them a few times, best time was a show with just them and Lamb of God. Just an amazing show overall, both some of the best bands to see live.
