Her top end is faster than Sherika Jackson (she literally ran past her in the 100m final) who ran a 21.45 fastest ever 200m since Flo Jo's which is saying something

The 200m is more about speed endurance than top speed. SCR might have a faster Vmax than SJ, but her speed endurance is likely inferior. 200m runners with a strong 400m training/base are awfully tough - Shericka, Gabby, etc.

I find it very strange that there has been no on air acknowledgment of Sha’carri Richardson becoming the women’s 100m world champion this week.
All the mainstream media outlets and sports debate shows had multiple segments on Sha’carri Richardson during her low points. Not one analyst passed up on the opportunity to ridicule her then.
Richardson delivered under the brightest of lights against an incredibly competitive field, for the USA no less. Surely, it is only right that American sports media highlights her redemption with the same enthusiasm they spoke about her fall from grace?
I guess negativity really does sell better in this space.

A 22.16 is very quick when you consider how much she is running within herself and someone like Abby Steiner has to literally bust their gut to run a 21.7. If she can run a good race she's on point to take the double 100,200m, she does look relaxed and confident and she's proving it by taking out the fastest qualifying spots
