Thank you so much for this guide! I've used a bunch of your guides and they're always the right amount of "doesn't need to be perfect, just trying to die less" information. I will say though, for mechanics where you're pointing out a specific visual like boss poses or specific markers, it would be helpful to freeze frame the video for a second or two for clarity. In this guide I had to rewatch the bit about the third boss's sword attacks a bunch of times to make sure I understood which poses you meant by "this one".
Thank you! And thank you so much for the feedback. 💜I'm always trying to improve and it helps. I'll definitely try to use that more in the future to make things clearer.
Again, thank you very much for these quick raid guides. I just did this one for the first time, and yeah, it was pain personified. But I was ready for more of it than not, so we only had one wipe on the add phase of the Sith Lord boss (because I didn't know which one was my target to tank). I wasn't expecting the constructs on the floor of Mustadio fight to also AoE their tile, and there was some problems avoiding the multiple crosses and dealing with a tether trade on the last boss, but it could have been so much worse trying to blind prog. It terrifies me a little that the difficulty is only going to keep going up from here, because hoooly I thought Dun Scaith was a steep difficulty curve. But this one was a brick wall constructed out of the corpses of so many WoLs.
Thank you so much! 💜I'm working on the next batch of alliance raid guides currently, and your feedback really helps! I haven't done a lot of tanking, so I need to pay attention to add things that may make a difference for them too! But as for difficulty level, I think it peaks at Orbonne, honestly. Though there are some spicy moments in Shadowbringers raids, run for run they seem to go much more smoothly than Heavensward or Stormblood ones. And from the very beginning of EW, I've never seen an alliance wipe on an Endwalker raid (or at least, unintentionally.) 😵 There's a bit of a divide in the community over whether this is a good or bad thing, but I at least wanted to give you a head's up! Consider getting through Orbonne in one piece as quite an accomplishment! 💜
This is one of the Alliance Raids where I'm not entirely sure it can all be reasonably explained in three minutes. You did a good job, but there are just more mechanics than in previous raids. That said, we already know some of the mechanics from previous raids. Most mechanics are fairly doable, though. One thing I like to do is not do a group hug all the time. There are so many markers above the heads of players or around them in this one that make it hard to see who actually has the marker if everyone stacks up constantly. I still stay with my alliance, just not as if I'd be doing a stack up marker. Considering the many AoEs in this Alliance Raid, this is incredibly helpful and resolves quite a few mechanics already. For the first boss, I find it the hardest to figure out how to position correctly for the sniper mechanic. For the second boss, I don't remember anything worth noting. The third boss is just a reskin of Ozma ;). But really, no problem at all with this boss. The fourth boss has a few notable mechanics. Once it summons the three bosses, the first attack chain is easy. The second one took me a while to figure out, I always died to Hashmal until I analyzed it and calmly made the correct decision. For the labyrinth, keep in mind you can walk into a dead end.
Thank you for the additions! 💜I was worried about this one, to be honest, because there is a lot to it! I tried to leave anything out that wasn't immediately dangerous, or that had been used in previous raids to this point. Keeping a bit of distance between you and others is a great tip!
These quick guides have been very helpful! I’ve had pretty smooth runs my first time playing through the raid series. Though some mechanics are easier for me since I am tank and can survive. There are some times where I do have to provoke because I have seen the main tank die a couple of times. Definitely did have a little anxiety going to raids as a tank, but I feel pretty comfortable tanking now.
I'm happy you've found them helpful and that you are feeling more comfortable in raids! 💜 Congratulations! Being a tank isn't always easy, but I'm so glad you've decided to give it a try!
thank you as always for these videos! ive only done the first raid in this series and by the looks of it, iam unsure if iwant to unlock the rest lol! looks very overwhelming but your videos make it much more approachable; thank you!
You're very welcome! 💜 lol They do look intimidating, but the thing to realize is that even today there are plenty of deaths every run. So if you make a mistake, you're definitely not going to stand out - lots of other people will too. Just give it your best shot! I'm cheering for you!
The iron giant things that appear on the edges of the arena will do a line AOE directly in front of them. Make sure you aren't standing directly in the path of one of them. There will be some large safe areas where none of them intersect, so when in doubt, always follow the pack. I hope this helps! 💜
Help, I think my game broke with this raid. I only needed 9 runs of Orbonne to get the card and the minion compared to 17 in Mhach and 18 in Ridorana. I'm finally free of Alliance Raid loot roulette until 6.5. Thanks for the guides and the kind replies to my comments :)
Another one that I need to return to for the TT card and the minion. I tend to grind alliance raids until I'm done whenever I get one I still need for Khloe's WT to avoid learning it over and over again. Don't remember all that much about it, only cleared it once for the story.
@@gamer_debbie Tell me about it. I grinded out Euphroysne for the TT card and we wiped once on the second boss and had so many deaths in general. That's 5 runs of Euphrosyne. At least it's over now. Unless I need more coins to upgrade my gear as I'm not yet doing the current savage tier. Anyway, with that out of the way and Orbonne in my WT, the guide will come in handy sooner than expected. I'll grind it out on the weekend to get everything I need ( Ultima card, minion, but focus on minion). So thanks for the guide :)
@@gamer_debbie Thank you :) I saw Orbonne is part of the next Moogle Tomestone event, so I'll wait for that. Queue times should be much better during the event.
Ha finally ! My favorite alliance ! I really wish they would make alliance like that again, the EW alliance are way too easy in my opinion, they are a snoozefest.
This was the first alliance raid series I did... And I ended up in Orbonne at Cid my first time (join party in progress ftw!). We wiped 3 more times before getting through. I hated it from then onward. XD But then, I went back and did all the previous ones and eventually learned to love 240-man content. But you're right - this was WAY harder at launch than any of the Shadowbringers/Endwalker ones.

Thank you for the guide! Quick and concise enough that I can pretend to be paying attention to the cutscene when really I'm panic watching a guide! 😭
Glad I could help! 💜 I've definitely been in that position before!

Love these guides, thanks. Much better than those overly long 20 minute guides.
Thank you so much! 💜I try my best to keep them short and easy to watch!
Thanks for this quick guide! I watched it quite a few times in prep for the raid and only died once! Not bad for a first go!
Congratulations! 💜 And thank you so much! I'm delighted it helped!
Reviewing this playlist and getting ready for alliance heavy tomestone month!
Awesome! 😊💜 I hope I can get all of the level 80/90 alliance ones out next week - it's my goal! Good luck tome hunting!
Love these ASAP raid guides, thanks Debbie 👍

Last boss is the only one I didn't die on lol. Thanks for the short vids. Longer ones aren't gonna help me any more
Congratulations on getting through!💜 It's not about how many times you die, it's about just doing it! I'm glad I could help!
Tysm for this 🎉

I survived!! thanks for the guide, twas helpful!!
Congrats!! 💜 You're so very welcome!
@@gamer_debbie I'll admit, I died like 4 times to that third boss, I felt so bad for the healers having to rez me over and over
@@bluemagician2672 Don't worry - In Orbonne they are definitely used to (and expecting) to raise people a bunch as they learn the fight! 💜
I have farmed this so much i know all this by heart, and STILL don't have the maiming shirt t-t
Youve done a wonderful job on the guide!
Thank you so much! 💜 I hope taking the time to post such a wonderful comment is the karma you need to get it on your next run! Good luck! 🤞
Wait so how do you dodge Mustadio lowering the ceiling on you? I don't think you touched on that. Was that what "stay away from the giants" meant?
