Markku Alen is most respected pilot for me. He is so honest, kind, humble, respectful and talented person. His rally records was unbeatable over decades, his friendliness with everyone and his involvement into all rally team aspects was incredible. And I think he is extremely underrated today for some reason.

Some great footage of a S4 being driven hard, can be found on a TH-cam bit Chris Harris did on a Pirelli tyre launch 11 years ago! They got some total Legends (Markku Alen, Juha Kankkunen and more) driving down some sketchy Italian mountain road stages in some similarly legendary cars. The look on Harris's face at times is wonderful to behold.

in effetti era proprio il problema di queste auto. La S4 era fantastica ma se scartava ti facevi male. I gruppi B erano delle bombe in strada. Ho vissuto quel periodo, rally fantastici ma quando finivano tiravi un sospiro di sollievo.
