Growing up in the 50s, 60s I spent every summer in Keansburg. Those were the best days of my life. I'm so happy Keansburg is still the same. the best waffle ice cream sandwiches & french fries on that bordwalk.

Bev died about 10 years ago. Wally still in Miami Beach. Their kids on the boardwalk in Ocean City & Wildwood. Tommy Hughes died very young; about 20 years ago.
My friend from my former social therapy had suggested this place for me back in early '00s. That park has always been a charm with some cool rides, arcade games (skee ball!!!!), and good food! Still going there now! Love Jersey Shore. 😎
My grandmother lived in Keansburg and we lived in Leonardo. We LOVED going to visit her and going to the boardwalk from the early 50s to the late 60s. Thanks so much for posting this. The bumper cars......hours on the bumper cars. :)
I actually live in Keansburg! I go here a few times each year with my family, usually around spring/summer. It's not as good as it used to be I suppose, but it's still fun!
At one time ;late 20,s or early 30,s there was a wood coaster designed by Herbert Schmeck of PTC . It lasted only a few seasons but was n example of a clasic twister type coaster .
