After chasing the Tracy Turn and also catching the LRS51 at D'Arcy Pkwy, I came back here as I seen the LRS51 move west on the Tracy Sub and I knew eight away they were headed to this spur track so I went and setup here at Christopher Way and was correct. This is the "hidden" double crossing or 1 1/2 crossing in Lathrop the 2nd one also. This double crossing has an interesting function as the outer gates activate like a normal crossing but the inside gate activates on a island circuit for the track it protects. It is not clear who owns this crossing as UP doesn't owned the crossing and possible they don't iwn the tracks here also. 2 of 3 of the bells here were changed as all signals originally had Safetran Hybrid Bells but the close one and far one was replaced by a Safetran Mechanical Bell and a GS Type 3 E-Bell. The remaining Hybrid Bell makes this another crossing I can add that I got active with a Safetran Hybrid Bell. The two spur tracks back here lead to Del Monte and the close one leads to a couple of Tesla Distribution Centers and others and a small siding and passes the Tesla Dr crossing which is another hidden crossing but thatbtrack is not in service past the siding to get that crossing active. However, the next video, I got the close track used also as they had to cut cars after this and shoved them to the siding and the siding is before Tesla Dr and is an island circuit crossing since the shove didn't activate the crossing down there.

Nice Video! Finally a video of this crossing active! I’m gonna have to be very lucky with this one.
Thanks! I use to wonder what local worked back here, if it was the Tracy Turn or the LRS51 and tried a few times a while back but failed as neither train went back here. I had a feeling it was the LRS51 that worked back here but like mentioned, they didn't come this way which resulted in me not getting this crossing so I gave up because of not knowing when its worked. Plus when I would hear tge 51 got to work the Tracy in Lathrop, they just worked the Simplot area then went back to the Fresno. Luckily and was surprised this day it had cars to be picked up after a drop off so maybe this may be worked more often now.
Nice video
This looks like one of those private railroad crossings that serves the industrial park over there. Do cars go by or only trucks ( I kinda forgot who has permission over there, my late mom use to do security guard work at one of those places 8 years ago on Temple Avenue near the lower end of Cal Poly Pomona at the Pomona / Walnut area, and she says they can be busy at times. Great guard she was....and a Mom 🥲). The crossing at 0:50 was late activating as the train passes by, but what a display of activity of this industrial park private RXR crossing... like how you zoom in on the crossings light activities.
Always liked Double Railroad Crossing. They are... I guess... rare...
Awesome!
What was that on the end sign
Lol.
