- Life in Cameroon has been a roller coaster so far. But let me telll you, it’s been a whole lot of fun as well. The only difference between day and night time is light and darkness really because the city of Yaoundé is just as lively at night as it is in the day time.
I take you with me to Mount Eloumden, Yunicks restaurant, street food hopping and give you a taste of my village njangi (stockvel) meeting.

You’re welcome! We made achu on this day but the traditional dish of Oshie is porridge plantains. But Achu is so widely prepared for njangi meetings in most villages in the NW🙂

This is way cool. And I agree totally with you about the mountain. People should get more access, that could actually serve as a touristic site in Yaounde, people could go hiking up there, if the place is made suitable enough. i can't wait to go back and visiting these cool places back home, i actually only realized how beautiful Cameroon was when i left.

That rice and chicken eyyy… it must only be tasted to be explained. So good! As for the plum and plantain 😂 imagine me who hadn’t eaten plum in so long… I just fell untop as soon as the season came. Yum yum💃🏾💃🏾. It is definitely more expensive than Bamenda that’s for sure but cheaper than South Africa… somehow a win win 🙃🙃
