Me hiding in the corner with my tail tucked between my legs, lol. Tad, whenever you retire or find the extra time, I would love to see an updated bookshelf tour. It’s always interesting looking at your backlog of books and hearing what you loved about them.Definitely agree with Circe and Piranesi, so good! Gail Caringer’s books were a big thing when I started watching Booktube and although I’ve not read them, they would definitely fit in with the times of what is now popular on TV. I’m really surprised that Duma Key hasn’t been made into a movie yet. It’s been ages since I’ve read that one. I’ve been putting together a similar video whenever I can find time to record.
@@thepapertraveler1122 I currently have books in five different rooms. I have plans on making one room a library if I ever get the time lol I am planning on doing a video for that whenever I get it done 🤷🏼♂️
I think there are many books and series that could be adapted to a tv series or movie. You just hope they won't mess it up hehehe. In my case, I would love to see Hyperion as a tv series, where every episode is one chapter, but it will work well with the first book only hehe. And now that you mentioned Tad Williams, I wish for a tv series or movie about Otherland. That would be awesome
Loved Circe so much that I immediately bought and read her Song of Achilles, even tho I've never had much interest in the Trojan War. I'd love a movie or series based on Circe, but not sure I'd trust them not to mess it up. I have to admit I didn't care for The Sparrow either, nevertheless I do think it would make a good movie -- it had interesting characters and a fantastic plot (I guess I just didn't care for the writing style). I'd go see it, Brad Pitt or no. I aways thought Tanya Huff's Confederation series would be good on either TV or the movies. And this may be crazy, but I think a Cosmos-type series of one of Loren Eiseley's books would be fantastic. I'd prefer The Immense Journey, but any would be good. No idea who to suggest as a narrator.
hello:) after watching some of your videos I was convinced to try Terry Brooks for the first time. So I started with Viridian Deep and I really loved that series! Is Magic Kingdom also fairly easy-to-read fantasy? Because I don't think I want to commit to Shannara tbh, Lol. ... Never read Tad Williams either, but I'm adding Tailchaser. I love Redwall and similar fantasy with woodland creatures etc. ... thanks, I always get unique recommendations here that I don't find from other booktubers. 😊👍
Tad, I tagged you to do 'The Booktube About Me Tag,' created by Harriet Rosie. There's no pressure if you don't want to do it. My version of the tag is airing on Friday.
I haven’t heard of The Sparrow! I need to try that one!!
Great choices!!
@@Maeve_Ever_Books I love this book but be careful there are some things that are trigger warnings.
@@tadreadsbooksstuff Thanks for the heads up! I’ll look up trigger warnings.
