I have naked 3 and every day I debate on getting rid of it because it just isn’t enough. I went ahead and got this palette too and I’m hoping I can maybe use the palettes together so I can make use of the shades I do like in naked 3.
Though I'm not interested in this palette, I REALLY appreciate how you reviewed it and used it like a normal person, not like every other beautyguru. You actually used the concealer it came with and gave us multiple looks instead of using p louis base and only testing 3 shades and calling it spectacular. Thanks for being real ♡ we appreciate it

She (and I) is Canadian, and we celebrated Thanksgiving about 6-7 weeks ago! Ours is the second Monday in October, while the US' the last Thursday, I do believe..? We aren't celebrating Pilgrims, but our gratitude for the harvest and other things in the previous year. 😊 Just noting that you can also be grateful for Ms Ravndahl on two similar yet separate national holidays! 😉 😂
You might try repotting your “dying plant” it may just be root bound. Try a slightly bigger pot and fresh soil. Then move it near a window for a bit so it can get more sun. She just might get happy again 😊

Honestly wish all reviews were done this way! It was very helpful to see three different looks. I have boughten pallets based off of reviews and they really only worked for a look or two for me. But this made me feel like it’s a versatile pallet.
Hey Sam! I just wanted you to know that my lily always looks raggedy and crunchy. When my husband and I were renovating our house, it accidentally got shoved into a crawl space for 3 months. No sunlight, no water, no care, and guess what... it's still alive! The only way you can make it look pretty (like a fake plant), is to trim off any dead plant material and make sure you are giving it food once a month at least. Good luck, Sam, and good luck plant! 🌿 P.s. I've been growing houseplants for 20 years, and it's hard to come by something that keeps nicely. Try a fern. They hold up through anything (almost) 😁
The FIRST thing I did when I got this beauty was scoop out the "concealer" into a small container and repressed a deep brown in its place that it was seriously lacking. Putting a cream in a powder palette without something to protect it from eyeshadow kick up is ridiculous. On top of that its a crappy base and you NEED glitter glue for those crushed pearl shades to make them perform the best and not travel all over your eye/face and using the finger is optimal. I wear mauve shades 4-5 times a week so this and the Mauve Obsessions are amazing for me.

Exactly!!!! These shadows are catfish looks terracotta and will blend out to some shade of pink, I'm glad I have it because of the metallic glitters but you definitely don't NEED this palette, would've returned it if it werent for those metallic glitter shadows, even in the dark they look brown then you go by the window and they're pink smh wish those "browns" were true to shade

Instead of the concealer they should of put in a dark berry/mauve and created a separate primer if that was something they were really wanting to do. I already own so many mauve/pink/purple palettes (my favorite tones for my skin tone/eye color combo) so I ended up not picking up this palette but I love the look of it and the color story. @@nataliecf9920 others said it seems to be a PR only item, and if true, that's kinda dumb. However, Sephora had/has a two-pack of silicone glitter applicators, and you can find them on Amazon. Further, another video had a commenter saying NYX has them and Milani to go with some foiled quads they make???! Hopefully one of those helps! PS One end is a slim silicone applicator that works like a finger but detailed, and the other end is a sponge. I *think*/hope it's a modern sponge (think Beauty Blender foam) rather than the large pores of cheap applicators in cheap drugstore eyeshadows. Good luck!!
NatalieC M I tried to look it up also cause I was interested in it. We didn’t receive it in stores and I didn’t see it online either! I was just as a forever 21 though and they had a pack of silicone applicators and mini sponges so I bought that to try out! I have a feeling the huda one was just for PR :/

Is there anyway you could pick a palette and brushes your average person could use everyday. For example 1st look is everyday busy mom. Makes them look awake and is quick. 2nd look maybe a date lunch or night 3rd look special occasion. For each look maybe use mostly the same brushes but maybe if you need to add in a couple of extra ones for the more complicated looks that would be cool too. But if you wanted to you could add in a glitter liner all over the lid for the special occasion or whatever you think would work best and something your average person could recreate. I’m trying to have less makeup in general. Clutter gives me anxiety and I have been trying to be more aware of our Earth. Love the video btw!
Idk if this is a thing but I've been setting my brow bone to crease but not my lid (but still applying concealer to the whole space) and that's been giving me the best of both world (high impact on the lid, smooth blend in the crease).

I have NOTHING from Huda... til now. I swatched this palette in Sephora and was shocked... especially with the chunky looking ones people are talking about. Wow!!! I feel like it's a very unique formula.. I bought it for myself as a "christmas gift". figured i'd put it in my stocking so I have something to awe over when kids are opening all there gifts. lol. I have this palette and am obsessed with it, I can't stop myself from using it honestly, but BLESS YOU for trying that concealer. I genuinely don't ever have a day where I can afford for a product to screw up my look and cause me to re-do it so I hadn't even touched it yet. I so appreciate it. I realize it is for the environment but when beauty gurus like you go out of their way to buy products in order to test it, it really makes it easier for me to give more weight to your reviews since you’ve spent your own hard earned dollars. It really reminds me of the OG TH-cam where everyone bought their make up and they told their stories because their money was on the line for the product they bought. Literally my fave beauty guru to watch, and CAN I JUST SAY I am so glad you've been posting more regularly than at some points in the past. Been here since the Batalash days and would come to your channel to rewatch vids when you hadn't uploaded anything new. Also, whatever happened to Batalash? + BRAVO for rejecting PR. I think it's an incredibly brave and meaningful move, even though it's not something I would ever expect a beauty guru to do.
Question: So I'm pretty interested in this palette cause tbh its gorgeous BUT all the colours look so similar??? I'm worried all my looks will low key turn out the same (cause I'm far less talented at makeup than Sam) and I'll be wasting my money? As someone with a pretty strict budget (aka living in Vancouver, the worlds most unnecessarily expensive city), I really don't want to buy something if it's not totally worth it. Thoughts????? I have it and I’ve had no trouble creating really different looks but that’s just my experience so far. I am absolutely loving it! I was worried I wouldn’t get much use out of it so I’m pleasantly surprised by the different looks I’ve gotten out of it already.
I bought this palette and warning - I keep grabbing it. I felt like it was similar in hue to the AofBH Soft Glam, but the glitter (and I get what you have to say about the texture) excites me so much that I keep, keep, keep grabbing it - and I'm super impressed by the wearability - they last all days.
I have my New Nudes Palette and I swatched on my deeper skin tone and I was like you expecting dusty muted color but no I got an awesome surprise of vibrant shades of pink. I really appreciate you doing multiple looks instead of just one. It gave me more ideas to try with the palette.

Hi Sam love the 3 look 1 pallet review! Wanted to share what i learned from Stephanie Nicole. Apparently 1 of her subscribers told her w pressed glitters such as this using either fingertip or a foam tip applicator is the best for maximum payoff! Also, Huda came out with some brushes to accompany this pallet. If you watch her reveal video she speaks more about this. Ive tried them and they not only work well with this pallet but it works with all other pallets w pressed glitters! Thought id share!! Love ya!!

I've just discovered Samantha and I've never enjoyed a makeup artist's thoughts, humor, and self deprecation so much. Something I've always wondered is why more professional TH-cam Makeup Gurus don't bring in other people on which to demonstrate different techniques. Everyone's fabulous at doing their own make-up on here and many even do helpful tutorials for things like 'hooded eyes' but...they don't actually have very hooded eyes, if you get my drift. I learned how to do my own eyeliner from a drag queen pal. I think watching someone like Sam working w different faces, showing them and us how to deal with different challenges would be an incredible series.

PS One end is a slim silicone applicator that works like a finger but detailed, and the other end is a sponge.
I *think*/hope it's a modern sponge (think Beauty Blender foam) rather than the large pores of cheap applicators in cheap drugstore eyeshadows.

Is there anyway you could pick a palette and brushes your average person could use everyday. For example 1st look is everyday busy mom. Makes them look awake and is quick. 2nd look maybe a date lunch or night 3rd look special occasion. For each look maybe use mostly the same brushes but maybe if you need to add in a couple of extra ones for the more complicated looks that would be cool too. But if you wanted to you could add in a glitter liner all over the lid for the special occasion or whatever you think would work best and something your average person could recreate. I’m trying to have less makeup in general. Clutter gives me anxiety and I have been trying to be more aware of our Earth. Love the video btw!

Idk if this is a thing but I've been setting my brow bone to crease but not my lid (but still applying concealer to the whole space) and that's been giving me the best of both world (high impact on the lid, smooth blend in the crease).

I feel like it's a very unique formula.. I bought it for myself as a "christmas gift". figured i'd put it in my stocking so I have something to awe over when kids are opening all there gifts. lol. I have this palette and am obsessed with it, I can't stop myself from using it honestly, but BLESS YOU for trying that concealer. I genuinely don't ever have a day where I can afford for a product to screw up my look and cause me to re-do it so I hadn't even touched it yet. I so appreciate it. Just a new subscriber, I really appreciate the fact you got rid of PR. I realize it is for the environment but when beauty gurus like you go out of their way to buy products in order to test it, it really makes it easier for me to give more weight to your reviews since you’ve spent your own hard earned dollars. It really reminds me of the OG TH-cam where everyone bought their make up and they told their stories because their money was on the line for the product they bought.

Question: So I'm pretty interested in this palette cause tbh its gorgeous BUT all the colours look so similar??? I have it and I’ve had no trouble creating really different looks but that’s just my experience so far. I am absolutely loving it! I was worried I wouldn’t get much use out of it so I’m pleasantly surprised by the different looks I’ve gotten out of it already.
I bought this palette and warning - I keep grabbing it. I felt like it was similar in hue to the AofBH Soft Glam, but the glitter (and I get what you have to say about the texture) excites me so much that I keep, keep, keep grabbing it - and I'm super impressed by the wearability - they last all days.

I have my New Nudes Palette and I swatched on my deeper skin tone and I was like you expecting dusty muted color but no I got an awesome surprise of vibrant shades of pink.

Hi Sam love the 3 look 1 pallet review! Wanted to share what i learned from Stephanie Nicole. Apparently 1 of her subscribers told her w pressed glitters such as this using either fingertip or a foam tip applicator is the best for maximum payoff! Also, Huda came out with some brushes to accompany this pallet. If you watch her reveal video she speaks more about this. Ive tried them and they not only work well with this pallet but it works with all other pallets w pressed glitters! Thought id share!! Love ya!!

I've just discovered Samantha and I've never enjoyed a makeup artist's thoughts, humor, and self deprecation so much. Something I've always wondered is why more professional TH-cam Makeup Gurus don't bring in other people on which to demonstrate different techniques. Everyone's fabulous at doing their own make-up on here and many even do helpful tutorials for things like 'hooded eyes' but...they don't actually have very hooded eyes, if you get my drift. I learned how to do my own eyeliner from a drag queen pal. I think watching someone like Sam working w different faces, showing them and us how to deal with different challenges would be an incredible series.
