It's a very built up area (Lots of dense residential buildings and road infrastructure). There are of course some fields in the distance, but even those are seen very close to or on the outskirts of the town. We can also in hindsight see that the location was in Madeira, a small island, meaning that the standards for 'urban' may be much lower (population density etc.), or that towns in Madeira or other Iberian countries simply use different architecture or city planning and so it may not fit exactly to what you consider to be urban despite having a similar population density.
This morning I saw the title in my notifications. and i wanted to watch it now so i did speak to text and said blindfolded geoguessr zigzag and it typed blindfolded gangster dikzak (im dutch and it means fat guy)🤣
A bit too heavy on the jump-cuts for my taste. Makes it a bit jarring on the eyes when you try to lock in on something only for it to be whisked away in a single frame. *shrugs*
