9:18 Suriname drives on the left because Guyana drives on the left so they followed suit

Suriname was colonized by the Dutch

"Suriname, along with neighboring Guyana, is one of only two countries on the mainland South American continent that drive on the left, although many vehicles are left hand drive as well as right hand drive. One explanation for this practice is that at the time of its colonization of Suriname, the Netherlands itself used left-hand traffic, also introducing the practice in the Dutch East Indies, now Indonesia.Another is that Suriname was first colonized by the British, and for practical reasons, this was not changed when it came under Dutch administration. Although the Netherlands converted to driving to the right at the end of the 18th century," Wkipedia.

@@stephenclark9917 They probably just drive on the left because Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago do.

@@stephenclark9917 you're saying that Netherlands switched to driving on the right hand side in the late 1700s?

@@beorlingo They have had conventions on that in Europe for a long time. They have shown from wheel ruts in the streets of Pompeii that people there drove on the left.

There was actually a very good clue in the Trinidad and Tobago round (although I don't expect you to know it): an advertisement for Carib beer, which is from that country.

Suriname WAS originally colonised by the British, then we did a deal with the Netherlands, gave them Suriname in exchange for New Amsterdam, which we renamed New York.

10:46 yes you finally got an Iraqi round ! you didn't guess it correctly but that's fine 😂pan flags can be confusing , also just a random fact you can tell syria apart from Iraq by the building in Syria you almost never see regular family houses you will mostly see blocky and more uniformed buildings kinda like Palestine/Israel/Jordan while Iraq is more randomized .

Pakistan has Urdu, which is recognizable in the very un-Arabic "Nastaliq" font or by the final "E" which is a stroke at the left end of the word going down and to the left and then turning around to going straight to the right under the word.
In GeoFessr Expeditions -- AE (United Arab Emirates), I point out an Urdu sign there where it is found due to immigration from Pakistan and India.

On the final Tanzania round you focused on the PO box of the contractor and not the project location. The correct city name was a few rows of text above your focus. May come in handy in the future.
