The student who designed the US flag actually only got a B- grade for the project lol Singapore's official mascot is called a "merlion". It's a mythical creature with a lion's head (as said) and a fish's body. Also, remember that Antarctica has no population. (As that's what your first thought was in the third round of the second seed)
I was so mad about the dorito island guess until I realized I did basically the same thing on the Alaska round and plonked it in the first little coastal town that caught my eye and was ~500m away. Great content as always, really love the collabs.
i still cant wrap my head around the fact that you randomly guessed a random triangle with no name in the middle of the ocean... was this dorito island a spot known to have some coverage? that's an insane guess man, wow
6:53 - Kodiak Island is 9,311 square kilometers. The Big Island is 10,430 square kilometers. So, you're correct that it's bigger, but not much bigger. The actual biggest difference is population, the Big Island has over 200,000 people whereas Kodiak Island has just over 13,000.
@@zi8gzag I really like these with the educative side of with hints and backstory, you guys should definitely do more. And I'd really like it even more educative instead of just you guys challenging each other. And another fun one would be if you and Peter could do one of those helicopter/ground level videos....
It could easily have been Sri Lanka as well and i was almost sure it was sri lanka because they also speak Tamil (apart from Sinhalese) in srilanka and that language resembled tamil script which i guess it was, but after your guess i realised that Tamil is also an official language of Singapore so it made sense, but the landscape, totally bamboozling...
This might be a useless hint, but I swear that boat ramp you were on looks like every boat ramp I’ve ever seen here in America. Maybe that’s the way he do it? I don’t know but it looked very familiar, but it could be like that everywhere, or just in the select boat ramps I’ve seen
I still don’t get the Dorito Island thing, was that a joke? An island obviously won’t look that neatly anngled off in its natural state. So where was that photo actually taken?
1.1 I was with you on guessing Canada for that first one, I also didn't know that about the US flag. 1.3 " often referred to as Big Island." , yeah I'm throwing that pin on Hawaii, next question lol. 1.4"Mining, Cattle and Tourism" + Red Soil, = Austrailia in my mind, so I was miles off. 1.5 "World's heaviest building" Was that the People's Palace? (thank you Top Gear) Between that and the yellow pipe on the side of the road, I'd have went Romainia also. 2.3 I'd have picked something on the north coast of Alaska but as for where no idea. 2.4 I would have guessed somewhere in the Nepal area but wouldn't have had a better guess inside it.
Im suspicious about it being the heaviest, sounds like something they wouldnt track closely. The largest building in the world is a Boeing factory with over 5 times the volume, but cant find what weight it is. It probably weighs less cos it has larger rooms, but cant be sure.
@@valleyshrew it's almost certainly less as the factory is mainly empty space. It has more open space 100% but I don't think it'd even be close to the heaviest.
Great to do another collab with you! Had a lot of fun as always!
Thanks for coming on Peter! :D
Love the GeoPeter vids
Fun!

i wanna see more manhut duos
the only one I was instantly sure of was the Bolivia one lol

Bolivia has 37 official languages. By far the most official languages in any country.
