My dad passed away very suddenly three weeks ago on 5/18 at the age of 56. When I was a little girl, he worked at a menswear shop for several years, selling suits and other professional men’s clothing. His coworker was a master tailor from India whom my family is still connected with. It may sound a little odd but this video is so comforting as it reminds me of those sweet days many years ago in the late 80’s and early 90’s when I would go visit Dad at the menswear shop. ❤️👔

I like the idea of the inner lining being the most decorative part. You get to choose but it's not displaced to the world, it's enough that you know it's there and that only you see. You and anyone who sees you take it off that is.
In all seriousness, you should have every suit you owned tailored (jacket and pants). It's the difference between walking around with bulky wads of cash vs. having access to that same cash via a credit card (not to mention....an inexpensive suit off the rack can look like a million bucks if tailored properly)
I feel like asmr is like a powerful narcotic, and I’ve been an addict for so long that most stuff doesn’t do it for me anymore. But unintentional stuff like this…. This is that good good.
That center seam on the back is a thing of beauty. The luxurious tie and silk lining are noteworthy as well. I’ve always had a thing for grey and dark blue suits personally. Black looks very formal and classy but is more predictable and needs an interesting tie if you ask me. IMO a well executed white dinner jacket is one of the most interesting and elegant pieces of mens clothing, definitely gets your attention.
A beautiful and extremely wonderful display. I wish you permanent happiness, success and progress in your wonderful work. Health and safety to all of you with the utmost thanks and respect. Greetings.💕💕💕💕💕
I wish I were rich enough to have one. As a working man, it makes a lot more sense to have multiple fused suits. I've canvassed on on my own, didn't turn out too well since I didn't cut the canvas properly. What's good about the process is that you can restart. My grandfather wore the same suit for 50 years! When the fabric started to fade (super 70s worsted) the tailor just flipped it inside out! I miss the economies of old but recognize the necessities of now.
Funny story, I used to live on that road and was part of the reform club... we had this intriguing wager which I accomplished a day earlier than expected....
