an interesting hhn theme concept would be that the usher and director get together and team up because they have been disappointed with the (horror) movies that are being made and that they want to show us how a proper (horror) movie looks like/ how its made. or maybe just as a house

During 25 it was said if you chanted bear bear bear he would dance for you. Then he has a Twitter also and was just became a cult thing. He’s back this year but apparently doesn’t dance now!
I gather that he was created for a scene referring to Goldilocks from Scary Tales (HHN 18). One bear would be seen mauling his victim and while the viewers are distracted, another bear appears to scare the bleep out of you. I can see why a character that is slightly untied to a scene and there fore can react to people spontaneously could generate a following. You feel connected to being in the know about this special thing that can change.
I always thought it would be cool if they have someone like Marilyn Manson ( or slipknot or Cannibal Corpse, or GWAR) to make a house based on their bands. MM and GWAR would have interesting houses based on their bands lore. I can just imagine a Ghost Bc one. Oh that would be amazing
So another history video that has all the years up to 2018 I saw that I think it was the first year that Hollywood did there's and I did see they had "Rob Zombie" listed but the flyer went by so fast I didn't know if it was a theme or a house or what.
Sounds like a great idea, but I hope they get a little more creative next year if they bring it back. The awesome structure of Happy Death Day was weighed down by the overuse of The Purge.
Agreed. It helps that I love all the IPs this year save for The Purge (I genuinly love the Happy Death Day section of the house though). Poltergeist was boldly creative with the execution of the house (expanding the tunnel and monsters was incredible), Stranger Things was gorgeous and has some of the best looking scare actors ever, Trick R Treat was a near perfect recreation of the film and it's atmosphere, and Halloween 4 was so good it almost made me forget how bad the actual movie was.
This year was a great year, much better to me than last year. The scare zones were way cooler and even the original houses were great. Best part about last year was The Scarecrow house but this yeah just about all of the 10 were good. Can't wait for next year!! Just wish they would bring back a central theme.
I remember seeing a production of Alice in Wonderland in downtown Orlando years ago which used strobing and ultraviolet effects. After feeling sick and freaking out, I did find it a very interesting concept at least as how to portray the sense of madness. Obviously someone else had the same ider.
Surprised Universe Studios hasn't made a movie series out of Jack or the other Icons. They would be a great cross promotion and the movies could be made quickly and at a low cost.
Aaahhh 25... The greatest year yet that we have been. There was just something about it..and absolutely loved the Jack's Mayhem maze. Still enjoyed this year, there hasn't been one I didn't enjoy, but looking forward to at some point having an icon back to bring it all together! 🤞~Dawn
4:22 TBH a Shrek themed horror maze would be pretty cool (and silly), going through the swamp and getting scared by Shrek and his family, we'll get to see Shrek through the eyes of the people who fear ogres
It's a shame they had to change the Scream house. that was a popular IP HHN hadn't used in Orlando yet. (in 2011 they had a terror tram in Hollywood, but from the videos I've seen it wasn't very good.)

I discovered this a few weeks back on the The Catacombs of Halloween Horror Nights podcast that Sterling had appeared on as a co-host when the show returned on Jun 27th from a hiatus when Sterling left a message for the podcast's listeners stating they've gone through some changes and no longer goes by his old name.
While I have never personally been to HHN, Vamp '55 introduced me to the event and being a Scare Actor! One of the best scare experiences I've ever seen, I hope they bring it back!

Here's my idea for a HHN event that I think would be neat! Overall story is that Jack and Chance are back and brought some pals with them. Said pals? Art the Clown, Captain Spaulding, Sweet Tooth (or Needles Kane rather), each with their own house. Maybe throw in a Chucky or Saw house along with a Jack and/or Chance house in for good measure.

La Llorona so far is my favorite house and scare zones are tied: the escapees from Shadybrook taking over a Halloween event and Vamp55. I've only ever seen HHN via vids. In the netherlands his counterpart is called eddie the clown, im way to scared to go see a hhn. But i have seen alot of videos of his role in the dutch hhn. He seems like a comedy horror acts and its truly cool.

Yeah, of all the IP houses, that and American Werewolf along with this year's Poltergeist (for a different reason) are some of the most amazing horror experiences I've had the joy to go through. The first 2 are like walking through the terror of the movies themselves with some of the most impressive designs ever. Poltergeist was a risky house that ended up blowing my mind in the creativity and non linear storytelling in giving us the movie experience while being unpredictably crazy with the classic scenes.
I'm still kinda hoping they'll do an actual, licensed attraction based on 'American Magee's Alice', but suppose the opportunity has passed... Also, Bill & Ted should've ended with playing 'God Gave Rock n' Roll', just like in the movie! XD

When I was little my parents never let me watch the bill and Ted show (not because of the vulgar, I mean I was absolutely terrified of HHN and that didn't phase them, they just didn't like watching any shows ever) so I've only seen one in 2013 and a bit of others in years before my brother snuck me into and I always LOVED bill and Ted even as a little kid that movie was awesome. Now that I can actually appreciate the HHN instead of being terrified the entire time I am sad that I was unable to go to any since 2013 and since I'm going in 2020 for my honeymoon I literally planned the wedding just for the honeymoon timing so we could go to this together. I hope they bring it back and I HOPE the movie isn't a flop as well

sorry for the long delay. Ironically the video starts with chance, and my first year working HHN was 26. As for the hidden camera, it took several years of testing and refining. I may make a video showing how I was able to sneak a camera in. Basically it started by modifying a hat I bought at the event. I started recording the Body collectors house, but when I asked my friend if my camera was visible... he didn't bother mentioning that there was a bright red light visibly flashing, so I was forced to shut off the camera at the house entrance. I do have video from Howl-o-scream too. I like how you linked my videos, but with you had mentioned at the end to check out the links in the description. I wish it could help me get more subscribers as I have been struggling to make it to 1,000 since I was demonetized in March (doesn't matter I have had my channel since 2006).
Ok, probably unpopular opinion but a good majority of the time i like the orignal houses more than the IPS. not because they are bad. I just like more original ideas than ones grounded by the limits and ideas of a movie

Roses are red, now take a deep breath... John Landis endangered the the lives of the crew on the set of the Twilight Zone movie and 3 actors, two of them children, died as a result. Seriously, look it up. 2 of them were decapitated by helicopter blades. Landis was found "innocent" even though his directions lead to the accident that caused their deaths.
I kind of understand why the escape room never came back it just seems like something that is going to be a hard thing to pull off with a lot of people trying to get through it
I tend to laugh and giggle in haunted houses, and I always pay extra it a “touch” option is available because it’s fun and exciting. I am impossible to scare and it usually ends with some very frustrated scare actors (one who took it a bit too far physically out of frustration with me). But holy shit, fuck those American Werewolf in London puppets. With the strobe light? Nah. That’s really the only time I could ever conceive of possibly being afraid in a haunted house. That would fuck me up. Ugh.

I tend to laugh and giggle in haunted houses, and I always pay extra it a “touch” option is available because it’s fun and exciting. I am impossible to scare and it usually ends with some very frustrated scare actors (one who took it a bit too far physically out of frustration with me).
But holy shit, fuck those American Werewolf in London puppets. With the strobe light? Nah. That’s really the only time I could ever conceive of possibly being afraid in a haunted house. That would fuck me up. Ugh.
