18회 생중계 정주행중인데 목마름에 결국 조성진 연주로 돌아오게 되네요~조성진 연주를 너무 들어서인지 듣는 수준도 높아진것 같아요.. 아마 다른분들도 그렇게 느낄거라 생각되네요~조성진의 정교한 음악은 듣는 사람의 마음을 울리고 완성된 테크닉때문에 끝까지 몰입이 깨지지 않고 멋진 음악을 감상 할 수 있습니다. 때론 너무 아파서 눈물이 나기도 합니다.. 모두가 인정하는 세계 최고의 피아니스트!!조성진!!❤️ 역시 최고입니다!!

댓글을 보니 다들 비슷한 생각들이시네요ㅎㅎ 저도 18회 연주듣다가 좀 맹숭맹숭하고 지루해서 조성진님 연주를계속 듣고 있습니다 절대 안질리고 계속 빠져들게 하는 힘!! 표현력, 감성 !파워...다 훌륭하지만 피아니스트중에 이렇게 레가토를 밀도있게 잘 연주하는 사람이 얼마나 있을까 싶을 정도로 정말 기본기가 너무나도 훌륭하단 생각이 드네요 화려함이나 테크닉을 추구하는 것이 아닌 연주의 본질을 추구하는 연주자이기 때문인 것 같아요 그 정신이 결론적으로 아름답고 훌륭한 음악으로 완성해 주는 것 같습니다
There was an abundance of Fantaisie in F Minor during the 2020 competition, and prior to the competition I had had very little exposure and familiarity with this Fantasy. Szu-yu Su's rendition in particular captivated me and dragged me into obsession with this Fantasy. This fantasy is like a journey written by Chopin, so many sweet melodies, beautiful chords (like the one at 4:38), and triumphant marches - especially the one in 5:29. The themes are reprised, but done so in such a genius fashion - like the march (5:29; 11:26). Meanwhile, Cho, this man right here, did such a great job guiding us through the journey that Chopin had written for us. Cho, throughout this Fantasy's rendition, was a virtuoso that was sensitive and made sure every note was purposefully pressed and every idea laid by Chopin magnified. I would go so far to say that this rendition would dominate all that were played in this year 2021's competition. Thank you Cho. Like Zimmerman, your interpretations of Chopin are considered gold standard. You have set the bar for Chopin so high in this century.

I still come back watching this all the time. Such a touching performance by Seong-Jin Cho. He definitely deserved first place at the 2015 International Chopin Competition.

you can hear how silent the audience is from 12:04 until the end. one of the most breathtaking moments in Chopin's music I have ever heard in my life. truly stupendous.
seong jin cho's performance is really magical. I played it well with the mysterious atmosphere of the song. After listening to this song, it seems natural that seong jin cho won the Chopin Competition.

Zimmerman was also the person that predicted Seong jin's winning in this competition after hearing his conceto 1. Well~Thanks for your opinion. This fantasy is my old time favorite. This young musician galvanized it as never I have heard before. His mastery and technique formed a concept that is oil olive comprehensive and seamless. The spirit of this fantasy is all inclusive of every emotional utterance and intellectual dynamic possible. He made it uniquely his and manifested that uniqueness to all to understand and hear from a new perspective. Bravo! He certainly established a solid foundation of incremental worthiness to seize first place in this competition. Talking about a “blood sport”! Though these contests are,perhaps, a necessary evil; the steely resolve and stamina to persist and endure to “GOLD” indicates character and talent to sustain a world class career. Congratulations! I simply have not ever heard an interpretation that comes close to this for grandeur, majesty and loftiness. This is my second hearing but I sense I have approached it from a perspective that allowed me to take in this young artist’s monolithic concept of intimate scope and peerless articulation. This is truly radiant for a unique insight of psychological utterance and genius expression. How long did it take to burnish such a great level of perfection? 어떤 유튜버가 조성진의 연주에 대해 anti-virtuosic이라는 표현을 썼던데, 독주 연주자들이라면 으레 가지고 있는 테크닉에 대한 과시욕같은게 철저히 배제되어있고, 어떤 음악을 연주해도 음악적인 표현에 가장 집중하고 있다는게 느껴짐. 사실 우리나라에서 오히려 저평가 받고 있는 피아니스트가 조성진 같아요. 해외팬들 중에는 조성진의 쇼팽 해석을 거의 황금 표준이라 불리는 지메르만 급의 새로운 표준으로 여기는 분들이 많더라구요. 테크닉이 조성진보다 뛰어난 피아니스트는 얼마든지 있지만, 조성진보다 음악을 잘하는 피아니스트는 적어도 젊은 세대에서는 찾아보기 힘든것 같아요.

I love this masterpiece the most among chopin’s pieces I can feel everything about chopin, his ballade nocturn polonaise scherzo sonata waltz mazurka. every time as theme changes it feels like different style of pieces but all of them are in same piece with perfect combination how brilliant! love cho’s performance
And soundness of his performance that cannot be disliked, so that those who oppose him may be ashamed because they have nothing bad to say about his immaculate technique and interpretation close to the composer's intention.
서두에 느린 부분이 쇼팽이 마음이 무거울 때 누군가 찾아와서 문두드리는 걸 표현한거고 제시부 격렬한 부분에서는 상드와 다투고 상드에 대한 불평을 담아낸거라고 하던데 연인과의 다툰 경험을 환상적인 곡으로 풀어낸 쇼팽도 대단하고 22살 나이에 이런 해석을 해낸 조성진도 대단하다.. 조성진이 쇼콩에서 다른 곡들도 너무 잘쳤지만 판타지 해석 또한 압권이었다고 생각하는데 이 연주영상이 괜히 1등이 아니였다라는 걸 너무나도 잘 보여주는 것 같다ㅜㅜ

18회 쇼콩 중인데 귀 정화하러 다시 왔다. 이때도 명연주라 생각했는데 정말 천상, 천재였구나-라는걸 다시 한번 확인하는 중이다. 예선전부터 파이널까지 차원이 다른 연주자였다. 때문에 지금 비루투오소, 젊은 거장의 길을 걷고 있겠지.

you can hear how silent the audience is from 12:04 until the end. one of the most breathtaking moments in Chopin's music I have ever heard in my life. truly stupendous.

seong jin cho's performance is really magical. I played it well with the mysterious atmosphere of the song. After listening to this song, it seems natural that seong jin cho won the Chopin Competition.

Zimmerman was also the person that predicted Seong jin's winning in this competition after hearing his conceto 1.

This fantasy is my old time favorite. This young musician galvanized it as never I have heard before. His mastery and technique formed a concept that is oil olive comprehensive and seamless. The spirit of this fantasy is all inclusive of every emotional utterance and intellectual dynamic possible. He made it uniquely his and manifested that uniqueness to all to understand and hear from a new perspective. Bravo! He certainly established a solid foundation of incremental worthiness to seize first place in this competition. Talking about a “blood sport”! Though these contests are,perhaps, a necessary evil; the steely resolve and stamina to persist and endure to “GOLD” indicates character and talent to sustain a world class career. Congratulations! This is my second hearing but I sense I have approached it from a perspective that allowed me to take in this young artist’s monolithic concept of intimate scope and peerless articulation. This is truly radiant for a unique insight of psychological utterance and genius expression. How long did it take to burnish such a great level of perfection? 네... 어떤 속주도 아크로바틱하게 치는 법이 없어요.. 정말 대단합니다.
어떤 유튜버가 조성진의 연주에 대해 anti-virtuosic이라는 표현을 썼던데, 독주 연주자들이라면 으레 가지고 있는 테크닉에 대한 과시욕같은게 철저히 배제되어있고, 어떤 음악을 연주해도 음악적인 표현에 가장 집중하고 있다는게 느껴짐.
사실 우리나라에서 오히려 저평가 받고 있는 피아니스트가 조성진 같아요. 해외팬들 중에는 조성진의 쇼팽 해석을 거의 황금 표준이라 불리는 지메르만 급의 새로운 표준으로 여기는 분들이 많더라구요.
테크닉이 조성진보다 뛰어난 피아니스트는 얼마든지 있지만, 조성진보다 음악을 잘하는 피아니스트는 적어도 젊은 세대에서는 찾아보기 힘든것 같아요.
그래서 조성진 음악은 뭔가 다른게 느껴져요. 말로 설명은 할 수 없지만 그냥 뭔가 이끌림이 있는거 같더라구요 들으면 들을수록. 설명 감사합니다.

First tempo was a hair slow for me, but this is one of the best live performances I've ever heard of this piece. Just magnificent.

I love this masterpiece the most among chopin’s pieces I can feel everything about chopin, his ballade nocturn polonaise scherzo sonata waltz mazurka. every time as theme changes it feels like different style of pieces but all of them are in same piece with perfect combination how brilliant!

서두에 느린 부분이 쇼팽이 마음이 무거울 때 누군가 찾아와서 문두드리는 걸 표현한거고 제시부 격렬한 부분에서는 상드와 다투고 상드에 대한 불평을 담아낸거라고 하던데 연인과의 다툰 경험을 환상적인 곡으로 풀어낸 쇼팽도 대단하고 22살 나이에 이런 해석을 해낸 조성진도 대단하다.. 조성진이 쇼콩에서 다른 곡들도 너무 잘쳤지만 판타지 해석 또한 압권이었다고 생각하는데 이 연주영상이 괜히 1등이 아니였다라는 걸 너무나도 잘 보여주는 것 같다ㅜㅜ
인종과 국적을 떠나 음악의 예술성만으로 평가되기를 바랍니다. 조성진씨는 음악에 조예가 깊지않은 저에게 감동을 주는 특별함이 돋보입니다.
