It amazes me that with all our contributions . We only get recognized in a movie. I am 63 and I went to school everyday. Loved history and never knew about these awesome awesome black women.
I am 67 and never hear about these women either!!! I realized watching this movie the resilience of black women!! We take a licking but keep on ticking!!! ✊🏾
They swept it under the floorboards. It took an Afro American person, not the rich Hollywood jet set to bring this out into the light of day… I wonder why…

I’m so proud to see how these Amazing Black Women Soldiers show their Strength Courage and Determination and Resilience to show just what they were able to do with a task of handling the mail delivery to the soldiers to help with the morale and lift them up from missing families 🎉🎉🎉 what a great untold story ❤❤❤

If anyone ever has the opportunity to visit the woman's museum at Fort Gregg-Adams, I suggest you take the opportunity. It tells the story of the 6 triple 8 and is amazing. It has back stories of many of the units members. And many amazing artifacts like the actual mail bags. The mail sorting desks and even some of the actual uniforms worn by the women.
