nah Pat was right, these kids don’t wanna come to school, it’s chasing for the bag. these people saying oh it’s just the kids having the freedom of making decisions THEY DON’T CARE, it’s the NFL 2.0 when 95% of the league won’t declare for the NFL draft

Considering they spend 90% of their time on football it’s not shocking. Also if the alternative solution was to be as restrictive to coaches as it was on the athletes in the past, the coaches would never be down for it.

Just modify the transfer portal, make it where guys can transfer unless there’s a coaching change or graduation. That way guys can get paid to come out of high school then jump in the portal to get paid to go somewhere else. If that was the case only players that need to transfer would be in the transfer portal.

The portal dates need to change. Players should only be allowed to enter it when the season is over.
It needs to be like free agency in the pros. FAs in the pros who leave only get to leave when the season is over and the new league yr starts. You don't see pending FAs leave when the playoffs start.

Who is kidding who? The education component is a complete joke when it comes to college football. That went out the window a long time ago.

Yeah. Schools make so much money on football that ultimately profit drives decision making.

These guys are in college for 5-6 years getting that NIL money. Most of these guys are 2 years older than rookies in the NFL.

What the committee should’ve done for this year, and this year only… is expand it to six teams. They could’ve given Michigan and Washington a first round bye. Texas could’ve played UGA and Bama could’ve played FSU. The winners would face Michigan and Washington respectively and the losers play each other to determine 5th and 6th place.

Public Colleges are Professional Sports Business with the Gambling Business ..It’s inevitable that Public Colleges will delete their resources and eliminate other programs and here comes the law suits …Legal Contracts for each player to be paid will be implemented

The transfer portal is one of the biggest negatives of the “new era” of college football! There is no more student athletes except maybe in the minor sports. The day is coming when NFL players will be able to sign with college programs as eligibility requirements no longer exists. Harbaugh got suspended for buying a recruit a cheeseburger. Yet players get free tuition, paychecks, and then can transfer. Or they choose to not play in bowl games. The new era has some positives like the playoffs, the conferences, and new schools coming into D1. But there is no more loyalty anymore in college.

NCAA could have avoided all of this decades ago by just paying the players like they should have now this is the monster that everyone with authority and power has created and everyones complaining 😂😂😂😂
    Do i like this...No
Am i a fan of whats become of intercollegiate athletics...No
But im not gonna sit here and blame players for abusing a system thats been abusing them for a long time 😂😂😂😂
Billion dollar programs can afford these hits 😅😂

Why do coaches leave their team before bowl games. Its stupid. Bowl games where the new head coach is up in a booth watching. Why play all year then?

Unless it’s the playoff, bowl games are post-season exhibitions.

Can we stop pretending… let’s just take the best 30 programs and make the football team a department of the university and the players employees of the university. NFL 2.0/farm league but with the cfb atmosphere, the rivalries, etc… you can still have limited eligibility so it doesn’t turn into a bunch of 40 year old semi pros. Employees of the university get to attend for free - so if they’re really there for their degree then they can have at it.

STOP treating college football like a minor league / development league system.
STOP taking up space for those who are getting an education.
STOP paying head coaches the the salary of 6+ professors.
