Loved this. Lived in NC my whole life. Thank you for caring Jason and getting this out there. You got such a big heart Jason thank you brother. You are welcome down here anytime
Have lived in WNC my entire life. This storm has changed so much. Thank you so much for highlighting these beautiful people in this beautiful place. WNC is open and we need your business please come and visit we can’t make it without you!
I am a WNC Transplant, I moved here 15 years ago from Philadelphia. I am a diehard Eagles fan. To see one of my favorite players come to this wonderful state of NC and show how wonderful it is even through devastation is so heartwarming. People are still without homes, and things are tough. #WNCStrong is a true meaning. Because these people are strong and I admire all of them for what they have been through and still have hope, and smiles. LOVE YOU ALL WNC and praying every day!
Ditto that. My Dad grew up in the Harrisburg area, and even though I grew up in South Carolina, he made sure to share how he grew up with me. So I've also been a huge Eagles fan literally my entire life, and now I am sharing that with my own son. I went to USC, so watching Alshon Jeffery win a Super Bowl with the Eagles was really special. My wife was a Giants fan, but is now a huge Eagles fan, thanks largely to Jason and Travis's podcast :) We currently live in Old Fort, NC and own a small business in Black Mountain. It really warms my heart to see someone that means so much to Eagles fans everywhere coming into one of our communities to try to make a difference. Thank you, Jason.
I love the direction this channel is going... we need more positive and precise viewpoints in this sometimes dark world... Americans will stand together, always.
I grew up in NoVa, but did a lot of camping in the Blue Ridge Mountains, and I find the same good humans in the city that I find in the country. There are good people everywhere. All you have to do is look around.
Jason, you are telling stories that need to be heard. There really are more things that bring us together, then drive us apart. Thank you for showing up for these folks. Brightening lives with your huge heart. (And dang it, in the 1st minute, I was crying again…)❤
I ❤ that you do these kinds of videos Jason. Please do more like this! Your heartfelt way of spotlighting others makes me 😢. You have such a beautiful heart and soul.
App State alumna here. Thank you so much, Jason and team! I’m in tears. Thank you for going and spotlighting our university and town. Boone is truly special! You’re welcome back anytime!
Jason, you’ve nailed it again, from the Cleats on the Ground to the Biggest Hearts. Nature can hand the Community a Knocked Down situation but through the Strength of Endurance and the Tapestry of Community Support, there is a Light upon the Horizon. Thank you to all the wonderful individuals who showed what can be done even in the aftermath of a Harms Way Event. 😀👍🥰👍🥰👍🥰
As a native of western NC I would just like to thank you for continuing to bring attention to the ongoing situation. Some of these people are still sleeping outside and January is predicted to be the coldest in memory... Please don't let the rest of the country forget them!! Oh and congratulations on your next little girl❤ Love and prayers from western NC❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
So much respect for you!! Love everything your entire family stands for. Born and raised in NC. Many games spent at App mid 80's. Friend of mine was Yosef. Great atmosphere. Thank you for bringing awareness to WNC. Ps I know you are a foodie at heart, so you need to try. Lexington BBQ.
Love you Jason! You are my favorite Eagle and seeing you at my alma mater for homecoming weekend the same weekend I happened to be at the game was amazing. You will always be a part of the mountaineer family for your help and support after the hurricane. We love you! Roll Neers! Fly Eagles Fly 🦅
I was an international student and studied at App State for three years. It's the place I will definitely visit again before I die. An 58 years old man from Taiwan
They shut down school for a few weeks after the hurricane. As much as the University runs rough shod over the town and takes priority over almost everything those kids that stayed behind and helped the locals are a blessing. It took close to a month before the whole county had power back, a lot of roads are still in bad shape and need a lot of work. Just this past weekend we got another 2-3 inches of rain in a couple hours and had some more flash flooding. Keep in mind we're a fairly small town that's grown to around 20,000 and we have another 20,000 students stacked in on top. But guys like the young man in the video that went out and just started helping definitely went above and beyond.
You show over and over again what a good person you are. Thank you for showcasing areas/people around our country. This people need so much more, prayers sent.💕🙏🏻
Hey boss, I appreciate you. The whole state came together during this and still are, I live in Greenville NC and I spent my VA Disability check (only income at that point cause I just moved from Charlotte) for anything I could load into my car and then drove it across the state to a donation point where I stayed and helped them hand stuff out. The whole community came together, and it is still going on.
Lovin' your channel, Jason Kelce - too fun to be doing what you're doing with it. Looking forward to more feel-good stories. Not sure how you don't have 1 million subs yet with the 92%ers, but it'll come.
Thanks for showcasing our people to the world. Make sure everyone knows that even though WNC isn't in the news anymore they are nowhere near out of the woods, I was in Asheville last week for Christmas and the place still looks like a war zone. The region will forever have a pre and post-Helene bookmark on it when people talk about their history and they will still need help for quite a while. The people of WNC are a resilient and resourceful bunch, but eroded rivers, complete forests of collapsed trees, and living in RV campers and small makeshift cabins (props to Cabins4Christ, lots of volunteers and the Amish for helping building those) is overwhelming. So if you're reading this, just remember them...they are not OK and are going to need help whether it's physical or financial for quite while. So keep donating your time and money to groups who are helping, patronize WNC-owned businesses when shopping and do what you can to help them get through this. I don't say recover because this isn't something that results in a return to normalcy.
I have to say what a huge plus Jason Kelce is to Monday night countdown and all of the extra outside activities that he does to help people. To make people laugh. Have people come together. You definitely got the right man on board. On that desk outside of that desk I'd follow Jason all over the place love following him on TH-cam Tik toks Monday night this is something by the way I never used to watch. As well as a huge New Heights fan Heights fan. And now not going to lie with kylie. I mean what is there not to like about the Kelsey's. I wasn't even a fan of football until honestly we had the podcast new heights I started seeing little clips and started watching and then when Taylor and Travis got together it brought a whole new Dynamic and then I started following Taylor Moore it just brought a whole new level to happiness honestly because they are full of happiness and joy and information and I'll tell you I love watching and listening to them educate me about football the sport I mean it is so intricate it's I I mean who knows. I guess I'm trying to say that I am loving everything that the Kelsey's do and stand for we can't forget about Mama Kelsey Papa Kelsey and then Taylor's parents and her brother Austin I mean we got like a whole nother level off generous loving funny talented people❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
LOVE THIS Big J!!! Thank you for being the wonderful, caring, humble human being that you are!!!! I live in NC and it hurts seeing and knowing all the devastation that those beautiful people had to go through there in the mountains and the western part of NC!! We all here in the lower east area send our love and prayers to all of them!! We send our prayers and wonderful blessings to you for all that you do and how you have shown that you care!! Also I’m sure no one will ever rock the App State striped overalls the way that you did!! ❤
Helene destroyed Boone and many other towns in western NC. A full recovery is years maybe decades away. Thanks for spotlighting them. They need our help!!!! The government isn’t very interested in stepping in. The only ones stepping in are big corporations trying to buy land and homes for cheap. It’s time we love our neighbors and fellow countrymen!
@Jason Kelce THANK YOU! Your such a likable/loved person. Your doing a great job doing these segments. These small towns need to be recognized for what happens in their area.
Great inside look to what theyve been goin thru. Nice lil taste of a one of one resilient town. I appreciate it Jason🙌☝️💕💪⚡💯 sending good vibrations to them families and yours. Soak up the new year🙏🥂
Thanks for the forecast! Just a quick off-topic question: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
@@shanebrock3855 he was great! very down to earth, laughing constantly having a blast, even got a pic w one of my brothers. We watched him chug a whole beer through a tube too, man was having a blast lmao
Even though our JMU Dukes Support Mountaineers Fund wasn't recognized at the home game at App St. it was my sincere pleasure to create the fund and bring the JMU nation together for OVER $64,000 donated to the disaster relief fund. facebook.com/share/p/1EsUhHDfZ2/
Whoever started the "participation trophy" messed up. Kids who don't put in the work, get a trophy for what? Kids that do put in the work get frustrated because they worked their asses off & the ones that don't, get rewarded, too. IMO
FEMA was there, but because the people were told lies about FEMA, the people didn’t accept the help. But the people did help each other and that’s a positive thing!
I just love the human that Jason Kelce is. Such a bug heart. Truly a man of the people.
Bugs are small - are you suggesting he is not a caring man?
Loved this. Lived in NC my whole life. Thank you for caring Jason and getting this out there. You got such a big heart Jason thank you brother. You are welcome down here anytime
It was such an honor to be a part of this video (son Jeffrey leading the Mountaineer Walk with Jason). Forever Mountaineers. #mountainstrong

Thank you so much for shining a light onto APP State and Western NC. There is still so much more to be done to help those in need.
This brought tears to my eyes
Jason, thank you for continuing to shine a spotlight on the situation in the North Carolina mountains and for spending the day with us in Boone.

You crushed the field speech! I know you had a solid buzz but man can you hype em up!
Rivers were rerouted by nature. But we love it.
Jason, a little tip. Ditch the side camera. Just the camera facing you directly. Thanks.
Good to see you, Jimmy!
Roll Neers!! 💛🖤
