Lovely little place. That location is great - right off the center but also not too far to walk to the train station if you're traveling light or day tripping without luggage. I really like the bathroom tiles. The only thing I'd change is adding some storage in the kitchen. Otherwise perfect holiday home at the right price. So glad you're continuing to work with Sara!
Grazie, Rino. Love how they left the floors and doors, but handled electrical etc. I think the kitchen could be made more functional, yes. Price a bit high for the small space, but I know one won't find rock bottom prices in the bigger towns
I love when you get excited by the old radios! That would be great to have the park with benches right outside your front door. Don't even need a balcony when it's that close. Sulmona's too large for the 7% retirement tax rate, correct? My ears always perk up hearing the mention of convenient public transport. I've been thinking of taking a few days in Sulmona, Raiano and Chieti next time I come to IT.
That's in front of the Villa Comunale. So really near the center. That's a good location. The thing that amazed me though is that there are no taxis. I managed to get a taxi driver from Pratola.
Unlike the “ home in Italy” channel you actually show properties in thriving towns. Floors are amazing and those sliding window shutters are perfect. 👍🏻Very fair price for that. 👍🏻
@@denise91221 how is it not? Almost every place that guy shows, the places are almost empty. He points out a bar and what else? One restaurant? If there is more to the places he shows then he needs to prove it. Look at this video and how packed the place is with cars and people. Nuff said 🤷🏼♂️
@@ibenglishactually there is some overlap in towns between the channels (to be fair, Dave does tend to film at lunch time when no one is around, and he's also had listings in Sulmona). HOWEVER, having purchased through Dave, I can definitely say stick with Rino and his network of realtors. We're currently working with Sara and she's been great. Rino has been incredibly helpful with advice along the way.
Before you could find an apartment on the fourth floor, without a lift, in need of complete renovation, without a view of the park (and therefore without the sun until sunset) and without a cellar for 35k! This property is perfect for a couple.
20?! 😅 new fixtures, new bathroom (including systems), new electrical system, new boiler (never used!), armored door, overlooking the municipal park, excellent exposure, in Sulmona.. 20k?!?!?!?!
Hi! There are a couple of definitions varying between countries, in Italy we kinda apply the same term to apartments as well, we'll make sure to be more careful in the future
Typically in the States "townhouse" is more than one level (usually 2 floors) and connected only on the sides, with an independent entrance. We would call this one an apartment since there are other dwellings above on other floors and a communal entrance. But this is in Italy, so townhouse can mean just a dwelling "in town".
That's really nice, and amazing area. We absolutely love Sulmona, and love your channel, keep them coming

Loved the town and the building in beautiful. Really cute little flat this is move in ready.
Can’t beat the location. Views are lovely.
That kitchen definitely needs to be reconfigured.

Really nice video again🎉

Beautiful building and great location.
Love to location, and the view of the park is fantastic! Gorgeous bathroom and floor tiles. Just too small for a couple in the kitchen/living room.
Tiny apartment, nicely renovated.

thats not true

@@tmink1 good comment and I like Sara’s channel also. She does a great job and doesn’t try to overhype a properly for a sale. Appreciate you 👍🏻
@@ibenglish Sara's channel is great as well! This is, as Rino said, one of her properties that he is featuring.
Grazie mille
I had seen that apartment in Sara's page.
Needs a major updating, but I love the view overlooking the park. Lots of potential for someone willing to put in the time and money
Hi! What is the major update? I don't see many works to do
@@OneStopAbruzzo I'm not saying it needs updating to be liveable, just that it deserves higher end finishes.
Sometimes, it would be nice to just look and not hear, unless it's about something we can't see.
This feels like half of a regular apartment.
Perhaps you can turn the volume down.
Beautiful! thank you for sharing.
Can you please tell us the directions to north and south when you are in the area
Hi! Yes, many have asked but it's just a little extra time in ending and I often forgot. I need to get better at this.
Its to small for a couple and before the fix-up the price was around 25K euro

Real price is 20k
What do you mean? This is a renovated apartment in the center of a popular town, that's what is driving the price up
20k for a renovated apartment in Sulmona? No way.

Look for prices of similar apartments in west and central Europe. This is a super bargain.
normally the townhouses are multiple stories.

Correct. That is an apartment if rented, a condominium if bought.
this has been on offer for a long time... overrated...I agree real price is 20k
these properties offered to foreigners are generally overpriced
What do you mean? This property is for sale for everyone, not only potential buyers from Abroad
