I renovated a 100 year old house in San Francisco, much on my own as you are doing, so I know what you are going through. I have an incredible admiration for what you have done here. Best of everything in the future.
We're working on our 1904 Edwardian duplex in SF & that is more than enough! I can't imagine the work a project like this one in Italy entails. Putting in 220 electric for the clothes dryers, multiple outlets for computers for the engineers who are working from home, replacing double paned windows (in the back of a schedule 2 house) that have lost their seals, is more than enough.

Its personal taste but I really love the apricot colour typical of so many period italian buildings. It is very characteristic. It glows in the evening and morning sun. I certainly wouldnt call it orange at all. It would be a keeper for me.
Unfortunately it's from the 1960's and painted in a plastic colour, many of these types houses where originally painted in this very light yellowy beige that I show on the other villa in the video, our's where also in this shade.
I remember scrolling when u started this channel, and your first videos popped up. I was like, this looks interesting and to boot its Italy! I was hooked. It's been fun tagging along w you both and watching the good and the bad of this journey so far. It's a wonderful old home. And I love your passion for doggo 🐶 's !!

I know it would take a great amount of time and resources. But still. Rather than restaurating, this feels more like adapting a perfectly preserved, 100 yo Italian jewel into an American standard of living. Which I’m assuming they even bought for nothing. So the least they could do is preserve the historical and architectural value.

I find it that people now a day don’t know how to start a job and finish it before starting something else! From cleaning the house,(which I never saw a progress to the basement, to back inside? If I was an hourly worker, I’ll be rich by now

I don’t think bathroom was originally pink. I think that happened as part of a 1950s redo. Not a tragic loss.

Terracotta colour on the outside is authentic and really beautiful. Hope you painted back same colour .
Well, we are going to paint the house but not in that Terracotta as it's not the original colour but something they did in the 1960's.
