    MJ vs LeBron
This is a silly debate. Clearly Michael is better. It's not even a close one. But let's go to the facts. Updated after Lebrons 14th season. Michael Jordan has
    •3 more rings
    •3 more final mvps
    •1 more DPOY
    •1 more season MVP
    •9 more scoring titles
    •3 more steals leader
•3 more all defensive team selections
•4000 more points / bron moved past him in playoff points, but it took him longer lol.
    •800 more steals
•Beat 20 50+ win teams in the playoffs (Lebron only defeated 10)
•Jordan never averaged less than 40% Field Goal in the finals
    Lebron did it twice
    •6/6 (never allowed a game 7)
    •Lebron had much more help
•Jordan never had a teammate averaged more than 22 points in the finals..
Kyrie averaged over 28 and DWade averaged more than 26
•MJ never ever had a finals meltdown like Lebron in 2011 against the Mavs
•MJ had more points in the playoffs in less games..
All of this accomplished in 13 seasons
Lebron is in his 14th season still chasing the "ghost that played in Chicago"
•Michael Jordan in the playoffs has put up atleast 40ppg, 5rpg, 5apg in 6 different playoff series. Along with an average of about 55% shooting, 3spg and 2bpg.
(86 vs bos, 89 vs cavs, 90 vs philly, 92 vs Miami, 93 vs Phoenix, 88 vs cavs) Jordan won every one of those matchups except for the 1986 matchup vs the celtics.
•Jordan in 88-89 averaged 32ppg, 8apg, 8rpg, 3spg off 54% shooting. LeBron has never even came close to this stat line.
•in 87 thru 92, MJ averaged 5 straight seasons of atleast 51% FG shooting. LeBron has never done this.
•the lowest FT% MJ ever shot in a season was 78%. Lebrons highest in a season ever is 78%.
    •MJ has a higher playoff FG% of 48.7% to Lebrons 48.3%
•MJ has a higher playoff player efficiency rating of 28.6 to Lebrons 27.3.
•MJ shoots a higher playoff 3 point percentage of 33.2% to Lebrons 32.9%
•MJ also shocked the league by being the first (and only) player to have 100 blocks and 200 steals in the same season, then turned around and did it again the next year..
Seriously this list can keep going. This isn't even a debate. Mj is the GOAT.
Michael in only ELEVEN complete seasons with the Bulls:
    -10 STRAIGHT scoring titles,
-Won Defensive Player of the Year,
    -9 times all defensive team,
    -9time All NBA,
    -5 league MVPs
    -6 finals MVPs
All 11 seasons. Mj has done in 11 seasons things Lebron hasn’t done and won’t do in his whole career...
And before you criticize me for copy and pasting just know that it doesn’t matter if it’s copied or not, truth is truth.
    Check Mate.

I got one question for you...When did Jordan ever carry a sorry team as LeBron does reguarly?
Your statistics are based off Jordan mostly being on a average to well above average team.....hahaha
Lebron is on a pretty mediocre team.......That alone makes this incomparable.
........Lebron isn't the same player style Jordan was so not even sure why there are even comparing apples to oranges....... Jordan score first. Lebron is a pass first team style player.....Making this comparison almost solidify the fact Lebron is better in a many ways....

    • @Herbalizer28
      @Herbalizer28 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

@@GymClubHouse I agree with that...To me Olajuwon is the best center ever ...Only 4 times has a player ever averaged more than 2 STLs and 3 BLKs, during a season ..3 of those were by Olajuwon (the other was Robinson)...Hakeem was a center with guard footwork, had a mid-range shot and crazy post moves ..his only weakness was FTs. I can't think of anyone in today's game that could beat him in the post or stop him in the post ..centers are now just 3PTs specialists ...Rudy Gobert just won the defensive player of the year averaging 12REBs, 0.8 STLs and 2.3 BLKs ...Hakeem lost the DPOY to Rodman twice when he was averaging 14 REBs (led league), 2.1 STLs, and 4.6 BLKs (led league) in 89-90 and 13.8 REBs, 2.2 STLs and 3.9 BLKs (led league) in 90-91 ...he was averaging over 24 and 21 PTS also ...Hakeem never got the accolades that he deserved but true basketball heads know ...Hakeem the Dream was no joke !
So I would start my team with MJ and while others would pass on him (picking Kareem, Lebron, Kobe, Magic, Bird, Wilt, Russel, Shaq, etc) I would scoop Hakeem on the way back..

I understand Jordan didn’t have social media but I would say the way things are today would have further fueled a player like MJ. The fact remainsJordan played in a tougher era..stronger eastern conference and when he finally got paired with another all star he never lost in the finals.

Ones a score first me me me, and Bron is a pass first let's get this whole engine (TEAM) rolling. That fact that LeBron is that player first and not the me me me. And still average only 3 points less than MJ while shooting so many less shots or game over the course of 15 years, and out rebounds and assists. I can only imagine what Bron would do if he was a me me me player. Dude can easily average 35 a game for a career m no one has been able to stop the best attacker if the rim of all time. Not my words that's alot of pros and pro coaches words. Ijs. However, they are both the greatest at what they did/do .....

Mektek19 lebron was in the debate before that, Jordan wasn't seen as the by far and large best player in the league until about 6 years in 90-91 when he won his first championship. I know he already had an MVP in 87-88 I think it was but magic one the year before that and two years after that. It was still seen as magics era with Jordan on the come up. Very similar to what you said with Kobe being considered the best of 05-10. Lebron has already established himself in the greats of greats category along with Jordan russell wilt Kareem bird and magic. You can't compare eras though the game is so different. I'm sure you've heard it a million times but the NBA has never seen the type of offense we have now, having said that though the physicality of the 90s completely outmatched what it is now and to compare the game in the 90s to now is like comparing flag football to tackle. And Russell winning 11 rings is absolutely disgusting but that was also when there was no 3 point line and he's defending and scoring on guys who are 4 inches shorter than him. What about Wilt scoring 50 a game for a year?! Can't compare across eras

@@LeadfootLou You probably wouldn't see the difference. Jordan is using a tactic to demoralize the opponent when he says "I'm gonna drop fifty on you." James is only happy when his team scores if it earns him an assist to add to his total. That's why he has to have the ball so much. Jordan's #'s dropped when he ran the triangle offense. Lebron would never run a legitimate offense because he wouldn't allow himself to lose any points or assists because he knows he can't catch Jordan by winning chips, he has to try to pad his stats to come at Jordan. Anyone that knows basketball knows that Jordan sacrificed #'s to win 6 championships.

Trent F - How does anyone but the players themselves know what their goals are??? You don’t like LeBron so you say he passes the ball to improve his assist stats. Players that have high assist numbers are considered unselfish. Nobody ever referred to MJ as unselfish. MJ is the GOAT but he was very lucky to have had a general manager who knew what players to put around him, one of the greatest coaches of all time and his team fit around him like a glove.
