Omega has really grown! She went from being the reason the Batch was finding themselves in trouble, to saving a member of the Batch. The way she jumped up on that ship, shot the pilot, then jumped down and laid cover fire for Crosshair while calling Batcher was absolutely badass. A skill from every member of the Batch was on display to show how much she’s grown while hanging with them.
I was screaming flood the entire time when I saw those little things jump out of nowhere. Then I saw the thing with the long tentacles or whatever and I was like GRAVEMIND!!
@@minilopgamer1950 I was more worried that Crosshair would be left behind *again* or possibly be injured or die. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the writers were kind to him for once.
I had a similar thought actually. They mentioned wanting Omega OR boba back in an earlier season. Neither of them were modified that I remember. so i thought maybe that was why
These first 3 episodes were all perfection for me and easily the best of the series. Especially the dynamic between Omega and Crosshair and the strength of Hemlock all really elevate season 3 from the rest. Flawless so far and I can not wait to see what happens next. Also the time skip being 150 days broke me. She had been held captive for so long. (Side note: I believe the Slither Vine creature is a heavily mutated Sarlacc)
I agree on both counts. As her hair got longer, I saw her transforming into Emerie, which was its own kind of heartbreak. And yes, the vines looked very much like a sarlacc… I giggled when I imagined the whiny surfer teen voice they used for the Pit of Carkoon in the latest FaCPoV (audiobook).
I thought it was a good start to the season; gave me Andor vibes in Narkina 5. These episodes focusing on Tantiss are very interesting. In fact, the entire plot around Crosshair has such a deep and well-executed dramatic charge about him being a soldier completely traumatized by the repercussions of all the experiments and the time he served the Empire as a soldier. Another really cool thing was the look of that room/laboratory that Palpatine visits; it definitely gave off the vibe of a Sith temple.
I was rewatching Clone Wars and in Children of the Force Palpatine kidnaps Force Sensitive children and after the Jedi find the children Palpatine mentions moving them to a secondary facility, maybe Tantiss?
We know from Rebels and other stories that the empire continued to capture force sensitive children, including babies, for some experimental purpose. We don’t know what that is yet though.
The slither vines are very similar to the Drengir from the High Republic. It would make sense if it were an attempt to revive and use them as a weapon.
I feel Rise of Skywalker was pretty clear Palps was cloned and transferred his soul into the clone bodies. Glad to see that backstory get developed! Palpatine has become this nexus where weird science and gothic fantasy meet and we need to see more!
That's my thought as well. As someone else noted, it's possible that since she does not have the accelerated aging her genetic structure is more stable to allow a body cloned from her DNA to be a vessel for Palpatine should something happen to his current body. If this is the case, even Boba could have been a perfect subject since he is the only other clone that I can recall that ages normally and does not have all the other modifications given to the average clone trooper.
I was cheering for crosshairs and Omega when they finally escape Mount Tantiss AND took Batcher with them! I hope they reunite with the rest of the bad batch BUT Cosshairs may be somewhat shocked to learn that Tech was gone.
The animation is amazing...The shadows of the tree leaves on the helmets at night is some master class effort (speaking of someone who grew up with Clutch Cargo!). Also, the dryax is next level Willis O'Brien! I love how the storytellers were willing to show the boredom and isolation of Omega through the sound effects, and visuals, especially her ponytail. The storytelling is great; TBB unfolds over time, so I'm enjoying that and Devoronian lore was an unexpected plus.
I very much believe that Omega is Force-sensitive. It would honestly make so much sense. But with only being in contact with one Jedi, a youngling at that, it's very hard to conform this. Jedi often feel Force-sensitives around them. Sense them, if you will. So, until she either show signs of being so, or comes into contact with a Jedi who confirms it, it'll be a mystery. It will also make sense if the Kaminoins tried to make a Clone so.
I really enjoyed all three episodes! Also I loved Alex's last idea that all clones help to stop Palpatine. So poetic! And did you all see how Hunter was running when they were escaping those creatures the first time? I thought that was so funny 😂
Episodes 1 and 3 were definitely a stand-out in this premiere, but that sarlac/saava (the unkillable plant vines in Jedi Fallen Order) hybrid was terrifying. Real horror movie stuff there, especially since I was expecting the Havoc Marauder to be destroyed by it. Good to see Crosshair and Omega escape as well, though I have a feeling they won't go to Pabu first. Crosshair is probably gonna figure out that they need to ditch the shuttle in case a tracking beacon is embedded in it
I could not wait to get home from work to watch the premiere this morning. I loved the pacing of that first episode, it felt slow and almost monotonous but I guess that was the point, to give us the viewers a taste of what life was like for Omega trapped inside of Mount Tantiss. And I agree with Alex that episodes 1 and 3 could have been single feature length episode, but it was also nice to get a “meanwhile episode” to show us what Hunter and Wrecker are doing in their own mission to rescue Omega. I also like the implications that Mount Tantiss has been around since way before the clone wars, establishing a secret cloning facility. I say implicated because there were no female clones on Kamino (minus Omega) when Obi-Wan went there in AOTC. Which makes me think, was Palpatine having male and female clones created as a preemptive measure that a child born of a clone would possess the high midichlorian count for him to possess. For once I’m glad to be wrong: I thought they were going to introduce Ventress into the series at the end of episode 3, making us wait a whole week before we get to hear her story since the events of Dark Disciple. All in all, a solid start to the final season.
Im surprised you didnt mention the slither vine that jumped at the camera because it was a great horror moment and hunter shooting it in the mouth beautifully foreshadowed how they were going to kill the big one (and it raised the question of "how big do they get?")
-I'm glad Bad Batch is back on! -I like they're working on the necromancer project this far back in time. It shows how far Palpatine thinks forward. -The guys need to figure out a better way to lock their ship. They had it stolen last year and in one of these. -I got a good chuckle out of Omega kicking that mouse droid.
I don't know why, but I was a little surprised by how... grim things were through these 3 episodes. Seeing Omega's hair grow as she spent time on Mt. Tantiss was rough. You knew it had to be wearing on her spirit, but her determination and compassion kept the fires burning so to speak. I do wish she'd have asked Hemlock "what if you're wrong?" as a challenge to his certainty that Bather wouldn't make it in the wild. He clearly wasn't aware or appreciative of just how quickly the wild instincts will resurface in a supposedly domesticated animal. Loved how the passage of time was hardest on Hunter. Wrecker being the one to advise patience shows growth, but just how adaptable the members of the Batch are when they have to be. He's filling the roles of Tech and Echo for Hunter. Seeing younger clones aiding the batch is good, but overall I have a bad feeling about all of this. We can assume the Empire doesn't get Omega back, but the why and at what cost seem like it's not going to be the ending many of us want to see.
Some stuff I thought was interesting that you didn't discuss here or on Clone Zone - Emerie Karr is kind of an enigma to me, but to me the most interesting thing about her was actually how you could see she really WAS raised by Hemlock. Like, she said that she was sent off Kamino and basically became Hemlock's protege, but you can really see how much influence he has over her. One thing I love about Hemlock besides the vibes, performance and his competence as a villain is that he knows EXACTLY what to say to people. Not everyone will be manipulated by him, but he knows how to get under his skin. He knows how to make poison sound sweet. And with how Karr treats Omega, thinking that Omega was not a prisoner and that she should be content here like she is, I was really reminded of how Hemlock talks, like how when he captures her he's like "I will return you to Nala Se" and pretending to act sympathetic to Batcher. It's all BS, but he tries to make it sound nicer. Difference is, Karr seems to genuinely believe what she's saying. Hemlock has basically trained her to be something like a droid. Good soldiers follow orders, indeed. That being said, I did never really consider the idea that she may have tried escaping herself, and how that might inform those more sympathetic moments. I also would like to think she's eventually gonna get back in touch with her humanity, but apparently either Rau or Corbett said her arc goes in a very unexpected direction, and if "clone with vague connection to Omega realises the new bond is more important and joins the heroes" feels like the most obvious thing you could do... one has to wonder. - Crosshair apparently being resistant to Imperial conditioning stuck out to me because you also have to remember that he removed his inhibitor chip. I don't think they're just cranking up the chips to keep the clones compliant there, but I do wonder if that's a potential factor in why it's hard to make Crosshair more compliant. Well, that and him being super stubborn, lol. - The Necromancer stuff was intriguing of course, but until you reminded me of the Midichlorian transfer stuff, I actually operated under the assumption they were taking blood samples from Jango clones to compare with HIS M count, to see if it could be the same or higher than him, as a test subject. But when you reminded me of the Midichlorian transfer... oh wait, it's the same thing as Grogu. The clones are just convenient test subjects lying around, and being clones, the thing Palpatine wants when his body eventually gives out, it's an even more convenient situation to see how Midichlorians work there. - So, time to be that crazy guy... I'm still on board the "Tech lives" train. One, they showed the X clone briefly, but he walked off. Why generate so much mystery when we already know there's a clone under there? I feel like it's at least someone we know. I've also seen some people (I think it was Corey's Datapad?) point out the build looks different from a regular clone, a bit smaller, so yeah. I am aware there's a "CX-1" speaking in the trailer and it's the regular clone voice, but we don't know for sure it's the one we're seeing (and obviously as seen last season, there can be more than one X clone). Then you also have Hemlock saying about how actions have consequences, and how he will enact them in the way they won't expect them... and secretly having Tech as a card to pull fits that. I feel like he understands if Crosshair is harmed too much, Omega will become uncooperative, and that will make Nala Se uncooperative. So if he wants to sting them where it hurts, use things they don't know about. Also... you have to consider how the Empire will find Pabu judging from the trailers. Depending on how much of the original Tech is there... maybe that's how they find out? I mean, it's more likely they could find some way in a future episode that will be way clearer, but it's just a thought I want to get out there.

I believe in Legends and in Canon Dooku and Palpatine attempted to give General Grievous a blood transfusion to make him for sensitive but it never worked. Omega is potentially the first being in which this transfusion would work and has she been around they could have made General Grievous Unstoppable. She's essentially the first person in Canon that could be artificially given access to the force since her blood can readily except the M count from a transfusion
It seems like the empire were trying to essentially create a mobile-sarlacc that could be deployed on a planet and allowed to just consume what it found. Presumably, with a star destroyer or two in orbit to ensure anyone coming off world would be shot down.
I LOVED the premiere. SOLID! The set up of the darker & serious tone for the rest of the season was done beautifully. LucasFilm needs to do more Star Wars Animation.
I’m loving these season premiere episodes. These weren’t exactly unpredictable, but they do have moments of freshness and decent tension. Thanks for the video.
I haven’t seen anyone mention this so I'm gonna be the first. In the credits of the third episode Scorch is credited as "Commander Scorch". If he got a promotion then that can mean one of 2 things. 1) The rest of Delta defected and its Battlefront 2 all over again. 2) In legends Sev went missing in action. In canon Scorch is the only survivor.
Emerie Karr reminds me of what Kilian Plunkett said about the doctor in The Zillo Beast Strikes Back: _"It's always odd that the well-meaning scientist doesn't seem to be doing anything to end world hunger or, y'know, find a cure for the common cold. In all these movies, a well-meaning scientist is always working on a death ray or a killer robot or something. But they're well-meaning."_
Emerie just continues to impress as one of my new favorite clones! She's still a mystery, but I got a feeling she is a hero. Can't wait to see where Crosshair and Omega head next!
I believe so too in a way. Especially at the end of Episode 3. You can just see her expression like she feels she did something terrible. Maybe she'll team up with Nala Se in trying to delay/prevent Omega's capture. I feel like all her brothers will sacrifice everything for her to try and keep her safe from the Empire.
Amazing start to the season. I honestly don’t know how I’m going to make it to the final episode in May in this state of anxiety. They did an amazing job with Tantis and the 1st and 3rd episode were so compelling but heartbreaking. Omega making her own version of Lula made be sob. I loved episode 2. The desperation of Hunter and Wrecker, the wear on their armor. They have really been through it. Very interested in the dynamic shift. I have a feeling we’ll be seeing feral Hunter in any combat situations. I’m hoping for a reunion soon (if only for my sanity) but have a feeling they’re going to make us wait for that. Very much looking forward to Hunter and Cross meeting again and how that relationship evolves and (hopefully) heals. Please don’t kill anymore of them off. Not sure I can deal with that!
I love how the First Order has a project called Resurrection that we learn from Battlefront 2 and in season 3 episode 3 of The Bad Batch we learn of Project Necromancer.
Love this 3 EP start. Everything about was spot on and this series continues to deliver high quality. The music was the perfect cherry on top. With Hemlock refering to having the "full might of the empire behind him" i hope we start to see some early pro-types or productions of TIE Fighters and Series 1 Star Destroyers.
I really liked these first three episodes. One of my favourite things was in the beginning of episode 2. When we see hunter and crosshairs, they look like they have been through a lot, their armour is dusty and scarred and hunter feels vulnerable. I really liked how crosshairs was unable to escape on his own but by joining someone and both of them helping each other helped them escape. On the subject of omega, if I recall correctly omegas dna is essentially a pure version of jango fetrs dna or something like that yes? She’s like boba fett in that she’s kinda a perfect clone of jango, not entirely sure about this. Maybe the enhancements the rest of the clones received did something that prevents them from accessing midochlorians properly? I’m not sure but I think it would be something like that
As someone who's had mixed feelings about the show, this season is off to a great start. I like the little things that have come up so far, e.g. the Durand syndicate and a bit more about Emerie. The latter is still intriguing and I hope there's more about her; I wonder whether she was coerced by Hemlock (since he seems fond of that) or actually feels indebted to him. I had pretty much the same thought about Omega stopping the mouse droid. In the midst of the tension, I kinda like how abruptly hilarious it was.
My personal guess (which may be completely wrong) is that the test subject is Ventress and that’s how they’re gonna get her back alive. She’ll be a force sensitive clone and this way it doesn’t mess around with the dark disciple canon.
Great start and I wish that we could give Omega and her brothers a chance to set up or at least have a glimse of a normal life before the Empire begins to track them down, cause I fear that this is a tragedy, not a comedy. J.
While I hope your assessment is correct, another possibility is, there were Jedi in those unseen containers. I kind of doubt Palpatine would make a bunch of clones with no M or declining count. And I don’t think you can add that into a clone later. So I think it’s more likely those were Jedi and he was using the Jedi M count to see if it could be transferred before he used his. Plus, I can’t see Palpatine giving a whole bunch of blood for all these tests. He would probably use the Jedi first. And I also suspect Omega has no M count. They just said that the M count had no degradation in the transfer. That could imply she didn’t have any M count. At least I’m thinking this is another possibility.
The cloning tanks actually reminded me of the sarcophagus in Rebels (?) where they kept dead Jedi. Maybe old Palpi is not yet ready to give Hemlock his own genetic code but instead experiments on other Force Sensitives. Or they are trying to mix several beings Force Sensitivity in order to greater an even more powerful being for Palps to inhabit.
My guess is that the stasis cells are holding dead jedis and clones, on whom they are experimenting with resurrection ;) just look at Nala Se’s body language at ep 1 ehen Omega wants to join her, she pushes her back kinda saying: “you should not see this” check it out and aproove or deny me. Pretty easy to align that Omega, Crosshair, Batcher are going to crashland in next ep after jump (trailer cut where the shuttle is downed and all 3 are there.) The all resources given by gan’pa’ Palpi will be the line in for the headhunters including Ventress (yess go girl!) and Cad Bane - to join in for the storyline. But what about Nala Se? Hemlock for sure will be putting the picture tugether that she was sabotaging Omegas blood tests, and that will be punished/revenged by him. But as she was earlier contracting Fennec Shand, probaly she already put her onto the denfense of Omega and she is just waiting for the flyer to spin to action again to keep Omega safe from other headhunters/join the team. As Hunter and Wrecker is sending the young regs to Pabu it can be a scenario that the clone resistance/rebels center is secretly based there, and after noticing it Empire will invade it as they catch a scent, (as seen in the trailer…) either terminating or capturing the found clones leading to very upset Bad Batch and Phee, team whom will spin to action again. Just my few thoughs, let’s bet a coffee on these. :D
From what I understand, Midi-Chlorians and M-Count are just people trying to find a scientific explanation for something they don't understand. Both the Jedi and Sith aren't perfect in determining what the Force is. To me, Omega possibly don't have special enhancements. She might just be a pure blank slate. A girl that probably possesses no defects within her DNA strands.
I think that even kind of ties into Sabine in the Ahsoka show. She doesn’t have the “talent” for the force, basically no Midi-Chlorians, but she can still find a connection to the force on her own to be able to wield it.
A) I really hope we get a Rex & Anakin/Vader moment this season & B) if Omega ends up getting away, I bet there’s a vague drop for Grogu at the end of the season sort of “not all hope is lost” sort of thing
This series only gets better and better. What a beautiful 3 act series it’ll be! Can’t wait to see Tech again, cause I’m tired of our beloved heroes falling only to be revealed as still alive. I refuse to believe our smartest clone is dead and gone, if anyone finds a way out of that fall it’s our Tech! If Darth Maul gets cut in half and falls to his death, Tech who is fully intact isn’t gonna die so easily.
Love these three episodes and really hope they'll show Emerie's backstory: why is there a second female clone? Is she also unaltered, created to become Shiiv's vessel, but turned out to be a failure? Will we discover a whole bunch of other female clones that failed (like Ripley in Alien4) until they got to Omega?
You may question this .... But I still believe that Omega is the lynch pin in the Kaminoans cloning process.Boba was the 1st successful clone of Jengo Fett, and he was given to Jengo as payment for his DNA sample and training services of the clones. The question now is ... When was Omega created? We can assume that Omega was created as part of a seies of cloning experiments. One of those experiment was if a male DNA sample can produce a female clone? I suspect that Omega may have been cloned from Boba not Jengo. Emory was obviously cloned from Omega and also given the accelerated aging like all the other clones. We also know that the 1st clone series were the most gifted clones. They were faster, smartee, more agile than the clones that came after them. The is why the 1st clone series were the template for specialized enhancements and became Clone Force 99 [The Bad Batch]. They got that name because they were the only 4 to survive the process. There was. 5th. But becauae of hia ohysical deformity, he because the janitor for the Kaminoan cloning facility. So where did the Kaminoans get their hands on Miticlorians? Perhaps from Master Syphodius aka Senator Palpatine of Naboo?
Omega and the force? Well, I’m glad they’re not having her do force pushes and such because she was never “trained” in the force. But she’s incredibly inciteful, resourceful, and has incredible reflexes… similar to another boy about her age that had an incredibly high “M” count that lived out on some desert planet till a space wizard found him.
Great episodes That Slithervine megacreature reminds me a of a water version of Sarlacc. And the giant mouth with the teeth reminded me of the kraken from the 3rd of the Pirates of the Carribean movies.
The Bad Batch is totally going to flatten Mount Tantiss and that will the storyline reason for Palpatine’s clones failure. The big question is will some or all of them sacrifice their lives to do it or will they just retire to Pavo and chill.
My bet they are currently trying to clone Ventress - she seems to be the obvious choice for a test subject since she appeared in the trailer. Also, cloning Palpatine, such a powerful force user would be quite hard, therefore they start with something easier.
They could have easily let the amount Tantiss episode be a stand alone episode. Was very happy to see the escape this early with Crosshair and Omega. 2nd episode wasn’t a throwaway. They needed leads to find the new base. Hopefully Omega’s ship won’t be too adrift to get back to Pabu! Welcome back The Bad Batch!
Okay I seen the blood testing completely different. They had the clone blood in the test tubes, and blood was being added to it. In the vault, palpatine smirks when the front of the pod lifts up. And yes I know there’s been too much mace windu talk lately, and would of loved to see a cg Sam Jackson in the pod, but I thought captured Jedi were in the pods and they were farming them for blood to try and get the m count into a clone bode. Remember around this time there’s the captured Jedi in the inquisitor base on the ocean planet, I highly doubt palpatine would give his own blood for this programme until they’d started making blanket clone copies.
I guess Palpatine had the cloning work moved to Exegol after it didn’t work out on Tantiss but Moff Gideon and Brendol Hux picked up the work again later.

The bombarded planet housing Hemlock’s former lab reminded me of Kenari, too.
Episode 3 was insane
I was rewatching Clone Wars and in Children of the Force Palpatine kidnaps Force Sensitive children and after the Jedi find the children Palpatine mentions moving them to a secondary facility, maybe Tantiss?
Ha! Nice catch 😊
Could very well be !
We know from Rebels and other stories that the empire continued to capture force sensitive children, including babies, for some experimental purpose. We don’t know what that is yet though.
@thedapperdolphin1590 Most likely to become Inquisitors
The slither vines are very similar to the Drengir from the High Republic. It would make sense if it were an attempt to revive and use them as a weapon.
Especially since the "vine-lings" were fully mobile...
I feel Rise of Skywalker was pretty clear Palps was cloned and transferred his soul into the clone bodies. Glad to see that backstory get developed!
Palpatine has become this nexus where weird science and gothic fantasy meet and we need to see more!
Momin can help with that…
Star Wars is inherently a science fantasy, so it makes sense.
Omegas DNA just works as a catalysator for a force sensitives m-count to not degenerate while being transfered into a clone.
@@captaincoolbreeze9429 This is why I’m wondering if the Empire will try and hunt Boba Fett too? Maybe Boba will team up with The Bad Batch?
@@kylearking8918 Maybe, maybe not since he later works for the Empire on occasion and still bears his father's surname.
Maybe
I was cheering for crosshairs and Omega when they finally escape Mount Tantiss AND took Batcher with them! I hope they reunite with the rest of the bad batch BUT Cosshairs may be somewhat shocked to learn that Tech was gone.
Omega probably told him on her visits 🤔. Unless she hasn't accepted it yet...
Has Devaron been seen before? I like the stave church+Japanese castle look to it.
We see a Jedi Temple there in The Clone Wars, but I'm not sure if we've ever seen that architecture before
Crosshair continues to be a really interesting and layered character.
16:05 Would love that the Bad Batch gets to hold that special place in the timeline as key players in defeating the dark side.
Crosshair's talk to the trooper from his cell reminded me of the first mind trick of Rey
Some stuff I thought was interesting that you didn't discuss here or on Clone Zone
- Emerie Karr is kind of an enigma to me, but to me the most interesting thing about her was actually how you could see she really WAS raised by Hemlock.
Man... Hearing Ian McDiarmid's voice as the Emperor being as evil as ever is beautiful. And I love how evil the Emperor's cloning chamber is.
no These first 3 episodes were all perfection for me and easily the best of the series. Especially the dynamic between Omega and Crosshair and the strength of Hemlock all really elevate season 3 from the rest. Flawless so far and I can not wait to see what happens next. Also, the time skip being 150 days broke me. She had been held captive for so long. (Side note: I believe the Slither Vine creature is a heavily mutated Sarlacc) I feel Rise of Skywalker was pretty clear Palps was cloned and transferred his soul into the clone bodies. Glad to see that backstory get developed! Palpatine has become this nexus where weird science and gothic fantasy meet and we need to see more! I love how the First Order has a project called Resurrection that we learn from Battlefront 2 and in season 3 episode 3 of The Bad Batch we learn of Project Necromancer. Omega and Crosshair working together is what I’ve been waiting for. If anyone can get through to him, it’s her. One small thing I noticed and got a smile about was the scanner when Omega enters the lab is the same as the clone commando shield recharge from the game I could not wait to get home from work to watch the premiere this morning. I wonder if keeping one's broken horn (in the episode, not the ship - although I guess the name is a clue) has significance to Devaronians.
9:21 surely the monster is a form of Sarlacc
Yep
Someone called it a Tarlacc 😅
It seems like the empire were trying to essentially create a mobile-sarlacc that could be deployed on a planet and allowed to just consume what it found. Presumably, with a star destroyer or two in orbit to ensure anyone coming off world would be shot down.
Thought the same thing. Poor Fetts and their Sarlacc problems.
Finally watched these episodes since i knew they would be longer and that I'd want to watch them altogether. Now to catch up on the breakdowns!
And now, Commander Scortch has arrived ❤❤
Anyone else get big Halo flood vibes from the slither vines?
As a massive fan of Star Wars and Halo I was pleased
I LOVED the premiere. SOLID! The set up of the darker & serious tone for the rest of the season was done beautifully. LucasFilm needs to do more Star Wars Animation.
I was pretty ecstatic when I found out that Deke and Stak were voiced by Ricky Baker from Hunt for The Wilderpeople
Omega had a shadow across her face when she talked to Crosshair through the cell door that looked like Crosshairs tattoo over his eye.
I’m loving these season premiere episodes. These weren’t exactly unpredictable, but they do have moments of freshness and decent tension. Thanks for the video.
Is anyone else going to talk about how the vault room for Project Necromancer looks just like a Sith temple?
Predictable but effective execution was spot on. Episode 3 was so good. So stoked Bad Bad is back.
I am excited for the Clone Rebellion since Omega and Crosshair’s escape indicates the final battle won’t be on Mount Tantiss.
Did you notice the issue Crosshair and Hemlock have with their left hand? What is that about?
Loved the whole thing. My fav was the change in Omega’s hair to help show the passage of time.
These episodes were much more nerve wracking than I expected them to be.
Loved every minute of them.
The entirety of episode 2 Is like a big fun reference to the flood in halo
“Did they teach you plan 72?”
“Mm hmm. Tech had me memorize all the plans.”
*chuckles* “Of course he did.”
🥺🥺🥺😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
This monster reminded me of the Sarlacc Pit.
Three lurca hounds attacked the large creature like raptors attacked T-rex at the end of Jurassic Park, allowing the heroes to escape.
I loved it!!! The thing I like most about is the connecting plot threads from season 1 and 2.
The series is just brilliant. So emotional. I loved the first three episodes so much.
I’m not sure but I think it would be something like that
9:05 Am I the only one who thinks the slither vine monster near the end looks like the Sarlacc pit monster not Dianoga?
Crossbred?
Probably not I don’t know what they are but I don’t think it’s either one of those
Definitely has sarlacc genes, or a related carnivorous plant.
@@amaranthpaean maybe
As someone who's had mixed feelings about the show, this season is off to a great start. I like the little things that have come up so far, e.g. the Durand syndicate and a bit more about Emerie. The latter is still intriguing and I hope there's more about her; I wonder whether she was coerced by Hemlock (since he seems fond of that) or actually feels indebted to him.
I had pretty much the same thought about Omega stopping the mouse droid. In the midst of the tension, I kinda like how abruptly hilarious it was.
Episode three was definitely my favorite And I am so ready to see where The story goes.
Pretty easy to align that Omega, Crosshair, Batcher are going to crashland in next ep after jump (trailer cut where the shuttle is downed and all 3 are there.)
The all resources given by gan’pa’ Palpi will be the line in for the headhunters including Ventress (yess go girl!) and Cad Bane - to join in for the storyline.
I've always imagined that Hunter was an attempt to make a force sensetive clone without using midi chlorians
I like Omega’s new hairstyle.
The Bad Batch has become one of my favorite shows. It's really grown on me since Season 1.
Bad Batch, after Omega are the Eldest Clones with Boba Fett, they had their faces changef and are mich older than they look
Thanks! Great analysis, as always. 🙏🏼
Three banger episodes
Well said 👍
The little vine creature things in the 2nd episode reminded me of the Flood from Halo, also the big one reminded me of a zombified Rathtar
Great episodes
That Slithervine megacreature reminds me a of a water version of Sarlacc. And the giant mouth with the teeth reminded me of the kraken from the 3rd of the Pirates of the Carribean movies.
I wonder if the specimens in the container are some of the deceased Jedi that we see from the Kenobi show. That could be a way to supply m-counts
Got some of the same vibe as in the final episodes of The Clone Wars. More serious. Great 3 episodes!
I really enjoyed these episodes and this was a fantastic start to the final season!
I loved your video and exploring the merch in the background.
One of your lights over the Droid is failing. Hope you fixed it
They could have easily let the amount Tantiss episode be a stand alone episode. Was very happy to see the escape this early with Crosshair and Omega. 2nd episode wasn’t a throwaway. They needed leads to find the new base. Hopefully Omega’s ship won’t be too adrift to get back to Pabu! Welcome back The Bad Batch!
Something was absolutely done to Omega. Nala Se (sp?) knows that which is why before scanning the blood sample she discarded it.
The slither vine thing reminds me of the Umbara root thing and a sarlacc combined
Great summary and review thanks
The Empire seemed to have experimented on a Sarlacc which became the slither vines.
I guess Palpatine had the cloning work moved to Exegol after it didn’t work out on Tantiss but Moff Gideon and Brendol Hux picked up the work again later.
ever since season one I beleived Omega's enhancment was adaptation, the way she copies Hunter, Phee, and learns new skills quickly points to it
Its interesting that Dathan was also allowed to escape the same way for the same reason
