@@GCSMachinery Probably not, you obviously know your market in Lincs/the wider UK and it would likely take years to build a business like you have there. So much kit is so seasonal - there is very little understanding of the benefits of being able to rent equipment among farmers, so limited demand, so very few ag outlets offer rentals. Short term construction equipment rental is becoming more common, but as we found trying to hire a 20 ton excavator, lack of actual availability scuppered the job.
Amazes me how you make hiring out trailers ect which are so seasonal with many weeks of the year parked up pay,the hire rate would be quite high and might be as well to buy your own trailer especially if set over several years.
