My exposure to Jorgenson began with the first Desert Rose album. Id often joke playing his parts is enough to the average players fingers in knots. Its good to see he is as nice a guy as he is talented.
John has been one of my favorite players for many years. I saw him years ago at a small venue in Shawnee, Kansas. He was doing the Django thing, jaw dropping show. I got to chat with him during intermission, super nice guy. Wish they'd do another Hellecaster's CD. Zac, Would love to see interviews with Brad Paisley, Jeff Beck, Eric Johnson, Larry Carlton, Joe Bonamassa, Robben Ford. Glad I stumbled across your interview.
Once again Zak, an excellent series of discussions with a fascinating subject. Always loved John's playing, and such a talented person it is downright scary!! Hope you are still pursuing my pal Richard Bennett, but I'm sure there are many others on your radar. Great work. Best wishes from Canada.
Firstly, a big "mea culpa" for the "k" instead of a "c" in your name - my bad! And yes, RB is all of that, as well as being an impossibly busy guy. I know he's out on the next leg of Neil Diamond's world tour in the spring, so good luck with nailing him down! Always great to watch these fab interviews. Maybe Kenny Vaughn or Steuart Smith down the road too?
Zac, the circle of my guitar heroes is almost complete. Do we get to see Your friend Brad P. on Truetone at some point? Certainly hope so... Thanks again
Thanks for the wonderful interviews, Zac! Have you considered doing an audio version on the podcast medium? Just thought I'd throw that out there. Huge fan of the show!
Absolutely love this set of interviews. I appreciate all you do Zac. These videos are the best.
Thank you so much. Zac
What a lovely guy! A friend played with him for years but I never met John. So cool to see what a great guy he is.
