I have never seen better interviews or a better interviewer in any video or television program, than what you are doing on Truetone Lounge. Thank you, and please keep up the great work.
I look forward to part lll. Growing up I knew of John bc a family friend, Dan Blom, was asked to be his tech for the Elton time but much like John, he had to think it over. He didn’t take it but it’s always a cool thing to talk about. Thanks for your interviews.
Wow, what a career. Sorry to say I didn’t know much about JJ except his name on that signature Matchless amp, and his signature Fender guitars-especially the CS one with the doubled Tele pickups! Also knew he was a Hellecaster and in Elton’s band. Anyway… really enjoying these interviews!
Wonderful interview. What a nice gentle guy and to say what a talented multi musician would be an understatement. Love his career.
Saw desert rose at a roller rink in mallets bay Vermont. Way cool. Terrific.

Wow. You made our day! Thank you so much for your kind words. Zac
Very fun and interesting story this guy has. I’ve heard his name but never knew his story. Love learning about artists and their journey.
Zac, True tone is absolutely the best you-tube show going! Well done! John is one of the best there is!
Thank you so much, and I agree wholeheartedly about John. Zac
These are truly the best interviews. Love how you just let John talk. So much great stuff here. You really know what and when to ask.
Thank you so much. John has such a great story. Like you , I can't stand an interview full of interruptions. Zac
I love ❤️ the idea of constructed guitar parts, also known as Beatles, Eagles, Andrew Gold etc!
All performing musicians have a Spinal Tap Moment. Good stuff.
Incredible interesting history. Chris Hillman I have been a fan of since The Byrds, he was their secret weapon.

Thank you, and we are working on part 3 right now. Zac

So glad for these new episodes. Always great.
Thank you Dan. Zac
7:37 John talked about his 6-string bass.
At 7:55 a hand comes into view behind Zac! Watch out buddy!!!!!
I *SO* agree that the 2nd Hellecasters album is the best. John's "Le Journee..." song brings tears to my eyes.
It is a fantastic album. Zac
thanks for all the great interviews! how about one with Kelly Back??????
You are welcome. I will add him to our list. Zac
Chris Hillman is an american treasure!!!
Yes, he is.
Is there a part 3?
Yes. We are editing it now. Zac
: Zac, is it possible to get a copy of the raw uncut interview for our desert rose band archive ?
Nothing has been removed. What you saw was uncut. Zac
Truetone ok... thanks Zac. Can I get a copy for the archive ?
"Anti-Brent"? Lol.
