REFEED | Full day of eating after fasting in one sitting AND still losing weight -25+lbs in 3 weeks

  • This is how I typically refeed. This way of eating plus my fasting regimen (plus exercise and sleep) is how I've lost nearly 30lbs in about 3 1/2 weeks.

    Just did my refeed too. 8 oz Prime rib, 6 eggs, 2 cookies, 1 banana, 10oz of chicken bone broth, 1/4 of pumpkin pie, and 3 pizza slices. Full and ready to roll into my next 72 hrs and my favorite 1 apple

    Refeed is back! Dirty cabbage is my fave meal. Fry cabbage with onions and cajun spices then add cooked ground beef. Love Cesar salad, too. I add chicken to that with lots of dressing.

    I enjoy Refeed. But I’m ok with Refeed episodes being maybe every other refeed. I too enjoy eating and watching a show. I wouldn’t want to deny you that simple pleasure. Thanks Jerome!

    Always enjoyed the refeeds! I'm just glad that you found what works for you and that you continue to inspire others. One consequence after having watched several of your refeeds, Jerome, is that I often now add pumpkin pie to my own, especially after a long fast. 🥧 Frankly, whatever YOU enjoy doing for any episode gets my vote. You have good content, and many of us (no matter our age, weight, etc) can relate to what you share. It takes courage to do this, and you make the process real and fun.

    I have soo much respect for you. Thankyou for making videos. For me I am doing back to back fasting of 3 to 7 days.
    I love that you mentioned this is what works for you the large refeeds etc. For me my stomach has shrunk sooo much I can't eat too much. My brain wants to but my stomach can't lol.
    My refeeds are always avocados with pink salt first. I have a tomato and cucumber dipped in salt. Then I'll have steamed cauliflower and pumpkin or a small veg stir fry. Sometimes ill have pickles too. I like to have coconut water too if I feel super weak.
    Im on my third month of doing this. I started at 130kg. Im now 104kg. Im female im 34 and im tall im 5'9 and a half.
    Something I've noticed about this journey is the hate and envy I got from my sibling who is also my room mate. She wanted me to stay depressed and fat. She hates seeing me get thin and breaking free of the depression which she caused by the way from when she ran away when we were teens and became a drug addict.
    Fasting back to back has helped me heal mentally and every kg I lose I shed more depression off myself. I am in control!! Hate me or not im doing this for me. Envy is a heavy energy! My advice dont let anyone stop you from being the best you❤

    I’m honestly inspired and motivated by your journey, thank you. One question, when you refeed after a prolonged fast shouldn’t you have bone, chicken or beef broth to go easy on your GI which has essentially been turned off for the long fasting period. Isn’t roughage tough as the first meal? Doesn’t it cause GI issue like loose stools?

    Jerome I’ve always loved your channel and your so inspiring! I was hoping to see smaller refeeds here as long term you’ll need to be ok with eating small meals. I’m also so scared this is going to send you into another spiral again. Absolutely no hate and I love fasting but I’ve experienced the dark side to fasting and it’ll be very hard to tame the beast after months of restricting again. I wonder if your results will still be the same if you look st your calories average over the week and just have those calories daily with pockets of shorter fasting periods that don’t require you to eat so much in one go.     Keep the videos coming. I will be starting my fasting after Christmas. I will be entertaining for the holidays and doing a lot of cooking and baking.     I am in the middle of my 36 hour fast and this is actually propelling me to continue fasting and not open window early. I feel I am eating watching you😂. This may work watching your redress.     I really enjoyed the video Jerome! It was helpful and informative into the psyche and how we develop habits(good and bad ones). It reminds me of when I do my refeeds as well. At some point during my fasting if something sounds good I will schedule it on my refeed menu to have when I end my fast.

    Refeed helps me a lot. You seem to be eating mostly healthy. I like Caesar salads too but I put chicken on mine. Lately I do Cobb salads. I like my brussel sprouts with carrots, onions, and bacon. Then I pick a meat. Love cottage cheese too. I do omad the week before my cycle so I’m a bit behind you now.

    Love the refeeds Jerome! Thank you for sharing with us but understand you won't always. I'm not much of a cook but feel inspired to try the brussel sprouts and Italian Sausage.
    I'm British, married to an American. I bought my husband a pumpkin pie last week from a really good bakers. I don't remember ever trying pumpkin pie when we've been in the US with family over Thanksgiving. Well, I tried pumpkin pie last Thursday and I have to say.....yeeewhhh, nope, not for me 😂. Husband was happy though!

    Awesome! You are doing so great. I am currently on a 40-day fast - straight no refeeds until day 40. I am on day 8, so still a long while to go.
    This is unsolicited feedback, so feel free to stop reading here. If you can get to a point where you can cut out the soda, you'd be doing even more for your body! Those sugar free ones have aspartame which is worse than sugar in many ways. Not to mention the chemical ingredients. But I know it takes a lot for hard work to give up certain things. I still have a hard time getting away from milk chocolate and that is the worst too! Baby steps!

    I’m having such a hard time getting back into extended fasting. The first 3-7 days are such a hurdle. I’m also in a situation where I don’t control the food in the house and I have to cook for others. Just trying to find a toehold 😅

    Love it you really inspire me. Im not doing 90 hours but i started rollling 72. Question i have do you get upset stomach and diarrhea after refeed?

      This is something I wana know too. Any stomach pain or dioreha. He must have a strong stomach. I had pickle juice and my stomach killed me lol. Eggplant is also bad for me gives me dioreha. Same with coconut water, I can't have more than 2 cups otherwise dioreha. I really want to have cream cheese and chicken or prawns on r72. I may give it a test on myself.

      @susususu8989 yeah my stomach on 72 hours does not do so well either. That's why im curious if it's something that gets better over time. 24 hours I have no problems but I need to fast longer cause I can eat alot in just one meal. Hopefully I can build that iron stomach Jerome has. I honestly don't think I could do 7 days like he did and go to a buffet. Im pretty sure I would be on toilet and maybe the toilet of a hospital as I'm sure I would poop my self to death🤕

    Ah, the good old refeed videos. I've missed them so much. I can't do extended fasts anymore because I have to take medication daily with food. So I do a 20-hr daily fast which works well for me since I don't have a large appetite and I'm maintaining my weight.
