- I'm curious if anyone out there has already thought of and implemented this idea. What if someone developed an app for public charging outlets? I find electric vehicles unique and fascinating.

I mean yes, it is 'free', just like taking peoples doormats off of their porch is 'free'.
You are just stealing electricity, someone is paying for it that isn't you.
I'm not even acting like I wouldn't do the same thing from time to time, but it's stealing, try not to get caught.
And definitely don't leave the cord unattended, they are expensive.
I mean all these places are public specially downtown if they don’t want people to charge there phones or anything with them I say don’t have them outside. But yeah I totally understand your point just thought it was a cool video to make

I understand how you can see it that way but they put these things out in the public intended for people to use them. If they didn’t want people to use them why would they have them? I’ve seen others use them to charge their phones or whatever yeah it’s not a crazy amount but my 12 amp isn’t a crazy amount either.
