Osaka is a great city . It reminds me of Brisbane where I live . Both have a river running through it. Osaka Castle is a Engineering Feat double moat , double fortifications.

Solaniwa onsen used to be an indoor swimming pools complex but closed 7 years ago. My Aussie mate and his JP wife and their two young daughters are currentlly in her hometown,Japan but they would not be able to come to Osaka this time so he kindly posted a parcel including T2 Melbourne tea, ANZAC biscuit and Manuka honey to me. cheers

What a wonderful place to visit, the mask looked like it was swallowing you. The staff speak English too so it is perfect for tourists who are unsure about their Japanese. Though I'm pretty sure you know someone who offers classes 😀

The onsen experience looked wonderful. I noticed that they had a fish pedicure for feet where the tiny fish nibble on your feet. I tried that in Eilat, Israel, about 10 years ago, and it was fun. Looking forward to your next video with Mori and Millie! ❤
Osaka is a very busy place. I didn't like what they did to the castle. They built a lift for wheelchairs etc. but it was built out of glass, they should have covered it with stone to make it blend in.

Your treatment reminded me a little of a TH-camr called AMSR Twix, who visits (and now owns) Japanese head spas. When you first stepped into IKEA, I thought it looked exactly like the Brisbane one ... although it was a lot less crowded. I've been to a few in different countries and the layout doesn't change much. I'm looking forward to your next video, and hope you and Millie have a wonderful first camping adventure together.

Hi Chani we are going to Osaka tomorrow- I watched your video on the cat train and I think while there we are going to do it! We came on holidays on 9.9 and we are travelling until 29/9. Having a blast but the weather is terrible to hot and humid! We’re from the Gold Coast so you would think we should be used to hot weather 😁

This place looks exactly like an onsen I used to go to in Tokyo called 大江戸温泉物語 in Odaiba. Unfortunately, it's closed now. It was a great place to go for a day out with the family.

Curious, what do you do with Millie when you go on short trips like this? Is she okay alone? Does someone check in on her? This looked like a lovely relaxing time.
On this day I left around 9 and came back around 8pm. She is ok but she does get lonely. The longest I can leave her is over night. If longer she stays with our vet or I get a pet sitter to come and stay at the house.
Chani, off topic comment, but this "handyman' who did your house is an absolute pro. 0:16 I noticed this with how snug your garage door fits up into where it goes (and everything else in your house). You really got it right when you found him. Was he just in the neighborhood or something?
He is amazing. I googled my local area for repair/reno companies and this guy had the best reviews. One phone call and he was there within the hour to quote.

@@freetravel8472 in Wakayama there are a few that are 100 yen/hour. Near the station could be 200 yen/hour. For a monthly car park in Wakayama could be 5,000 - 10,000 per month.
I didn’t make a video yet. The difficulty is that it is different for each country. As I’m from Australia it’s an easy conversion as we have similar road rules and drive on the same side. Unfortunately for some countries it’s a lot more difficult. Also I heard that in the major cities there are very long appointment waits and it’s very different compared to if you live in a country town.
Ikea always has great stuff. I usually buy the tiny things. Candles, cups, plants, etc. Even though I went inside only to watch and to have a hot dog. *laugh* Do they offer those 1 Euro HotDogs in Japan too? *laugh*
That Onsen was like a mall almost, very interesting. What would the cost have been if you'd taken the train from Wakayama btw? I'd love to visit Osaka at some point, they even have a cafe based on our local college here in KY because a couple from Osaka met there, it's called UK Wildcats Cafe lol. Why don’t you use transit card like Suica or Pasmo to pay? I believe there are restrictions on using Wise to withdraw, sometimes they may charge fee too.

As a man, I'm not sure I'd go for a facial (or maybe I'd need it? 😁), but regarding the rest of it, it looks great, but I'm not sure about walking barefoot in the restaurant. Just some thoughts about potential videos. It'd be great to see tours of a 100 Yen shop to see what sort of things they stock, as well as a supermarket to get an idea of the cost of living in Japan at the moment. 😃

Why don’t you use transit card like Suica or Pasmo to pay? I believe there are restrictions on using Wise to withdraw, sometimes they may charge fee too.
I stay under the limit. But you are right I could load money into the cards i guess

In some places they sell soy milk. I haven't really taken much notice where though. I will keep my eye out for it.

Yes, I think larger places all take cards or apple pay. But the toll roads and smaller businesses are still cash.

It says on their website that they sell tattoo cover stickers. I guess if you are happy to use the sticker then it’s ok.
