That goblin dude seriously did not respect Luigi as a character. He just kept running into his tornado and didn’t accept that he had to change his play style. It’s true what salem said in the mvg hero ban discussion video, these swordsman characters think they can just beat everything but when they meet a character that challenges that play style they don’t know what to do.
Tornado being completely invincible is super jarring definitely can see why itd have given him a hard time sadly

the plunger work and the going for misfires more often has upped Elegant’s game

@@isaacflask TH-cam rewards videos that are getting good retention time which basically mean, the longer people stay watching your video the better for the algorithm. The black footage people use to stretch out a video is bad for retention time because people are going to leave the video when they see it's done instead of watching the whole thing.

I really feel like throwing in some counters would do some major good against Luigi's Cyclone
Frame 2 cyclone makes it almost un-reactable if Luigi does mix it up
@@elliot4803 that's true, definitely wouldn't have enough time to counter after he inputs it. But I felt as if he was doing it often enough that he could have just thrown in a counter and catch him
If Goblin could predict it coming out, going for counter instead of punishing it a jab or side special would've been a waste.

I was conflicted.......elegant is my favorite pro playing this game while goblin is my second. Roy is my main while luigi is my second. all I knew was I would enjoy whoever won. congrats to elegant for winning without dropping a set. there's a lot of people who are going to get bumped down in the pgr because elegant is easily a top 50 player

Literalmente Elegant en el 99% de los matchs usaba Grab y Down B, algo castroso el vato pero bueno, Goblin también caía mucho en sus traps y no aprovechó su ventaja de Roy sobre Luigi

It is, watch what he does. You have to Dash away from ledge, while still running turn around so you get the skid animation during the skid hold A+B, this works on most characters but the timing is tight on characters with short skid animations like g&w whose skid is so short it doesn't work.
