Great video, lots of variety. That chicken dish at the end looked not only delicious but almost like a slightly simplified version of Hainan Chicken Rice, minus the rice.

Yo!! I’m so glad you went to Coolmac! I’ll show this video to the owner, he’ll be super happy hehe. The staff are right, get mazesoba next time & the taco rice! Also, how great is the brisket at Black Bear?! Try their short rib next time too, so good. The bbq is amazing! They use coffee in it too.

The blackbear looks amazing there is a place like it in my area it's called bottom of the barrel in Padstow you should try it sometime

I have to say i also recommend Black Bear, my favourite is the pork roll and the wings. I recognise the BBQ box LOL

I've tried the mazesoba at Cool Mac, and also at IIKO Mazesoba. Obviously the latter offers more variety on this dish, but I also found that the quality is better at IIKO. Although you should try both and compare!
I loved all the places you visited the ramen looked tasty and the bread top sausage bun is my fav and I agree gone up in price hehe ..Blackbears bbq sauce is definitely delicious and I love when you cook something in the end ..Tat oil would be so yummy on a steak 🥩 or any type of meat ..Always look forward to your vids Janice ..x❤️🥰💕

@@JaniceFung been to syd a few times, but I found myself going to the same places every time (most of those trips I was on my own), so, i felt bored... With ur videos, i feel quite surprised by how many hidden gems i need to go and try! I like tiny little shops and cafes filled with creativity and cuteness... Cool to see you come to Kirribilli! If you haven’t tried yet, there are some cool new places nearby in Milsons Point - Oishi Billi (superrr fresh sushi) and Loulou, a new French restaurant and bakery - you should check them out if you come back to the area!

You so should of tried Chicken King in Woodcroft after you had BlackBear in Blacktown plus you could of also tried The Bakehouse In North Kellyville for some awesome pies and sweets. Just a suggestion :)

Don’t want to tear up, I tried freezing onions and shallots a bit (don’t have to complete freeze it into ice) before cutting and I end up tearing up less. Try it next time.

@@JaniceFung just be aware you may have to age restrict the video, but it would be great potential Viral content. Also Grumpys Donuts on Pyrmont Bridge Rd in Camperdown and Dr Dough Donuts on Harris St in Pyrmont.
Also in the Area is this new Hotdog place called Doggy-style at Central Park Mall who also sell Subs/Cuban style rolls and this Egyptian/African wrap/burger place called Pharoah BBQ, whom you may know from their food truck and that's at the top of Glebe Point Rd next to Broadway.
If I finally get around to filming something I may start uploading videos myself. But yeah if you need any more suggestions on cool new places I'm always happy to keep you in the loop on what I find.

At Blackbear try the chicken Maryland its good I don't brisket myself because it's too fatty and I had a bad experience

Janice you need to go to more inner west, Redfern and Waterloo. There’s amazing African and middle eastern places.
Could yoi do a series on cafes good to work from. Eg. Free wifi, good seating cosy etc
If you struggle from crying after cutting onions a trick I like is to turn on the tap and place my face/eyes near the running water

I used to live in kirribilli on upper Pitt street. Waruda street is the best street … waterfront harbour views. Overall kirribilli is quiet and peaceful … I ended up paying $8 each way to get to Chinatown Haymarket and realised I’m too Asian for KB!
$8 each way?! Did you take the ferry?
Yes that was when there was one located close by. Then they shut that down. Milsons Point Station was abit far away. Overall kirribilli is a day trip. I’d much prefer living in the inner west or within a Chinese hub/ fresh food market type situation!
HK cafe is the best comfort food 🤤

Who cares? All content creators use time and money. Nobody becomes a success with zero effort. Janice's content is awesome and I'm sure she'll continue to grow her following.
