Hi! We're booking our trip to Thailand. Could you enlighten us on how you arrived at Our Jungle Houses, transportation wise? We're doing some research on how to get there but we don't see much info. Thanks for helping us out, great video by the way! We can't wait to visit Khao Sok ourselves in May.
Hi there, when i went I flew into Surat Thani airport and then there was a shuttle bus running to Khao Sok. They will then drop you off at the hotel. Pretty much every airport has this service in Thailand
Wow the animals are colourful, never seen that chamilian, would love to trek in the jungles, lake guest houses are quite affordable, thanks for sharing

another great video Jack - always you have the full story of a place you feature, and it's just stunning. Hadnt heard of this place, but looks highly rewarding and definitely will need to remember it the next time I get to Thailand. thanks for sharing
Love the video. You reviewed how to get to the park. What are the transportation options to leave the park, if you want to go Phuket, Krabi, or to the Surak Thani airport after a visit to Khao Sok?
Thanks. You can get pretty much much anywhere from there. You can check 12go Asia if you want to buy tickets online beforehand, however it's likely that your hotel in khao sok will be able to arrange for a minivan pick up in the morning to take you (and others) to your next stop
Great video to show you can have a great time enjoying nature without breaking the bank. Do you have any further information on the buses that run from Phuket airport to Khao sok? We'll be visiting in October 2022 and haven't had any luck with finding much about buses from our search. Thanks again for the awesome video - subscribed.
Hey, it looks like they run 2 buses per day. One at 9am and again at 3pm. If you can't get one of these I would either spend a night in a hotel near the airport (maybe bangtao beach) and try and get one the next day. Otherwise you can probably get a private car for a few thousand baht

@@BangkokJack858 okay thanks. I asked because on their website they only offer 1 or 2 night stays with the 2 night stays including a land stay in a bubble tent that is not changeable. But thank you for your response.
@@Travellexx Sorry are you talking about the lake hotel? I assumed you were talking about Our Jungle House. I would contact the lake hotel directly and try to speak to someone there. I'm sure you can extend your stay, but most people probably come as part of the package deal so that's what they'll advertise. Its better for them if you stay longer so I'm sure you'll be able to. Enjoy your trip
Thank you for this, so beautiful. Khao Sok is on my must see list. I love places like this. I cannot wait to start working my way thru SE Asia. I know camping isn't big in Thailand, but do you know if they allow camping here at all?
Yeah, you can camp (or glamp) at places like this. You don't even need to bring a tent you can usually rent one. Watch out for snakes, elephants, bears etc though!
Now this is most definitley my kind of spot!! Nothing better than exploring the fascinating natural landscapes to have a closer look! I love the colour composition of these videos too, you obviously take such great care when it comes to editing! Coming across all those animals certainly would have been my highlight!
I grew up around forests, streams, creeks, etc, in the Midwest US and remember all the "mean critters" like water moccasins, copperhead snakes, snapping turtles, poisonous spiders, and lots of tiny bugs that liked to bite. When I was in Cambodia, our guide took us up a mountain path to a waterfall north of Siem Reap and it honestly seemed "tame" compared to where I grew up. However, seeing this video brings me back to memories of my childhood and I just can't help wondering what creepy crawlies lurk in those dense jungles. 😅 Still, I really want to go. Thanks for the video. I am hoping to visit Khao Sok in December for a few days this year. 😊
Can you suggest some alternative hotels for the jungle stay aswell. Seems like it’s sold out for the days i’m bisiting and I really want to experience this. Also, how did you book guides?
Thats definitley one of the things I love about Thailand! Id really doesn't take that long to escape the city and delve into the gorgeous nature! That waterfall was such an extraordinary cascade, so beautiful! Amazing that you came across that lizard too, such a fascinating design of nature! Beautifully edited as always from you my friend!

Where did you find ur private tour guide to go into the jungle? I’m going next month and would love to see the jungle
I did it through my hotel at "our Jungle House"
Which company and tour guide do you recommend to use for 2 nights? Which month of the year was this video taken?
