Khao Sok National Park is definitely the most beautiful place that we experienced in Thailand… it’s a hidden gem… and we highly highly recommend going here for at least 2 days and staying at Panvaree The Greenery… it’s worth every single rupee..!!

I went there 20 years ago in February and the rainy season in the South stops already. Thailand's rainy season starts in July and ends in October. However, the rainy season in the South starts in late October to January due to the cold front from China pushes down gradually to the South and meets with Monsoon wind creating rains in the South. Simply said depression trough moves down south when the North wind blows. Khao Sok National Park is known for its many lime stone hills rising from the reservoir lake resulting from Chiew Larn Dam. Khao Sok National Park is known locally as China's Gui Lin which has similar geography with many lime stone hills jutting out of the lake. Some say it is a fantasy land when the mists cover the lime stone hills as if there were deities living on those hills.
Actually raining season starts before July
I agree with you. All the green mountains stand the test of millenniums like a mountains of deities from the ancient times.

Khao Sok is so magical. .it's also one of our favorite places in Thailand. We wish this episode would be a bit longer. So, we can enjoy every single moment with you!! Your video is always magical. We have been there 4 times already and are still planning another visit this winter. Really would like to go back there again and again.. once has never been enough for us. :) :)

Been waiting for this particular episode ever since you guys started the Thailand series. Khao Sok is so magical. Those drone shots look so beautiful. You got better weather in the wet season versus what I got last month in the 'supposed' dry season. Lol. Before going I was wondering if the water looks as beautiful as the pictures show; and I was so elated on seeing the reality there. Your cinematography is so top notch. What an adventure! And what an experience Khao Sok was!
This was perhaps one of the only places on my Thailand trip where I didn't see a single Indian and I was so glad that I was exploring (and vlogging) a place not known to a lot of Indians. Haha.
The rain and fog were strong evidence that Kao Sok is a rainforest.
