I am Thai but I have never been to Krabi. Your video made me want to visit there. I will share it to my friends in the USA. They always want to visit Thailand and your content gave me a very good idea where to go when I visit Thailand next year. Thank you for sharing ❤
Then you are missing the gem of Thailand which is Krabi ❤️.. you will fall in love with the vibe culture and atmosphere friendly people and yes food.. ❤
He totally misses Phi Phi Islands which is something you have to do if you go to Krabi. 4 island tour includes Railay for like 45 minutes but than he also recommends you go to Railay, which isn't the best experience at all.
Loving your three day itinerary suggestions. Is it possible to book a private boat and guide for this itinerary to avoid the crowds and operate on our own timeline?
It depends on the time of year, in peak season it's pretty difficult to avoid the crowds. Organizing a tour guide and private boats are possible but you'll often find you are getting to places with the other private tour boats. During off peak season can be better but weather can be difficult to avoid.
Thank you for preparing a nice and useful video..I want to ask something. I made a program to Phuket Island for about three weeks in March last year. I went to every corner of the Phuket Island one by one with my rental car. I also joined 95% of all available boat tours. The biggest problem I encountered during my stay in Phuket was the bites of jellyfish in the sea. I encountered a jellyfish problem in 95% of the areas except for Similian Island. I wonder if there is such a problem in the Krabi region. When I asked the locals in Phuket, they said that they have been experiencing a jellyfish problem for a few years. Sometimes I was exposed to very severe jellyfish bites that made it impossible to go into the sea. I wonder if there is such a problem in Krabi.
Hey Jack hope you’re good 👍🏻 been watching all your vids and love the content. I’m planning a 14ngt Holiday we’re in our 40’s and hardly back packers 😂. I’m thinking 2/3 nights in Koh Phi Phi 3/4 nights in Railay 8/9 night in AO Nang. Just wondered if there’s and order to visiting the locations mentioned which makes most sense traveling from the UK
I think you could get a bit bored with 9 nights in Ao Nang, it might be worth checking out Koh Lanta as well during that time. If you are interested I have a travel planning service. get in touch through the link in the description and I can work with you to plan your trip. Either way I'm sure you'll love Thailand!
7 island tour or Koh Hong are the better options. If you can do 7 island tour at sunset and include the bioluminescent plankton. 4 island tour that is recommended in this video is the worst tour of them all for Krabi imo. Railay can not be seen in 45 minutes and the beaches are never quiet like he mentions. He likely went during COVID and has no idea of how it really is now. If you haven't done Phi Phi Island tour I recommend you do it via speedboat from Krabi. It actually only take 45 minutes to get there so no where near as time consuming as he mentions.
I recommend Koh Hong tour. It's way better for a similar price and you can easily visit Railay beach which is the main attraction of the 4 island tour. All tours are available from Ao Nang.
If staying in Phuket for 4 nights then had to choose to go to KRABI or Chaing Mai which would you choose? Our trip will end in Bangkok and Others will continue to Hua Hin then back to Bangkok Any thoughts on choice of travels tjhanks
first time planning to visit around Jan or feb and only planning 2 or 3 places for 10 days, wanted to spend more time in each place. Any places you would recommend?
Would you recommend staying in Phuket for two days then phi phi for two days and travel back to Phuket to get to khao sok? Bc I want to see maya bay early morning but also want to check out chicken island!
Are you viisting Krabi as well? if yes, I'd probably go Phuket - Khao Sok - Krabi - phi phi and then maybe back to Phuket assuming you are flying out of Phuket. That would minimise travel time. The reverse order also works
Krabi to Khao Sok is easier than Phuket to Khao Sok. Best to go from Phuket to Phi Phi and then Phi Phi to Krabi, Krabi to Khao Sok. It will save you time and money. Khao Sok can be booked out 6 months in advance so it's best to book that first as it can change your whole plans.
I’ve got a huge question if you happen to get this question… Or if anyone else can chime in? My husband and I are planning on going to Krabi in January and would love to know where we could rent a metal detector for the 🏖️
I met a girl on a plane to Krabi, Thailand on 7th December 2024. She was sat next to me but slept most of the flight but when we spoke it felt like there was something there. I didn't manage to get any of her contact details but I hope to meet her again.
Awesome video. Just subscribed. Looking forward to catching up on your content and for your future travels. Could I ask where you are currently traveling and what are your near/medium/future travel plans if you have a slightest idea? Even if its just the region and not the specific town/city or even country. Best of luck buddy.
@ I’m thinking/planning to travel Southeast Asia next year from November ish. No set time limit. Where would you recommend to start and a route to navigate in order to have constant good weather? (anything but rain).
That is Phi Phi Islands which is the best attraction by far in the entire province of Krabi and he doesn't recommend it. Go figure. The place you want to see is Maya Bay but I like Phi Phi Le Lagoon better personally.
Are these tours easily accessible from tubkaak beach resort in krabi? You mentioned staying in aonang beach but I’ve already booked in tubkaak and wondering if I should cancel.
It depends on what you are looking to be honest. If you want a lot of nightlife and major shopping centers at the cost of heavy traffic and lots of tourist than go to Phuket. If you want a more chilled place with some decent night life and lots of markets than Krabi has the best beaches and Islands in Thailand.
@@BangkokJack858 Did you have any issues flying your drone at the beaches? I know it's nearly impossible to fly in the national park - where the boat tours go - but is it the same at the beach, say Ralay Beach or Ao Nang?

Where to stay if you have a baby? Krabi or Phuket?
Home
Either is fine. It's only a consideration for the activities you plan to do.
Hey, is staying in Krabi town for 4 nights a mistake?
I've never spent much time there so can't say for definite, but there isn't a beach there, which for me kind of defeats the purpose of visiting Krabi
You can get to Ao Nang and other beach within 20 minutes on a scooter. They have local buses that go there regularly too.

how long is the boat ride from Krabi to Railey beach?
20 minutes

Are you referring to the mangroves in Phang Nga?
No, it would be Ao Thalane or Muang Krabi in the Krabi Province.
How is the weather now in September..too much rains ??.is it advisable to visit now ?
You can visit Krabi all year round but September is the highest rainfall month.
