+R4pt0r64 I agree with you. It's the McLaren design, not the sponsor design. 2006-2013 Chrome & Red livery is one of their best. "Vodafone livery" it is not. For example, Ferrari's red & white design could be referred to as the malboro design, even though they still used red & white after they removed the malboro branding. It could even be referred to as the santander design because since they don't sponsor ferrari now, the white has gone, which is where the santander branding was.

XmattyG in sprint mode championship in 2014 in silverstone! Ben actually did the fastest lap and in his excitement said WHEEL users UNITE and then Matt goes on to beat his lap by 1.5secs...and says it wasn't even that good !

@@matthewthomas2546 Actually it depends on the track, at Canada you need to slow down but on some you can blast in at full speed.
Ben, you're still short shifting way too much, you can easily just shift when hitting the rev limiter. And you're using too high gears in some of these corners, costing you corner speed and hindering your run on the next straight.
Ben, with your staging, music etc. you enrich this 2006 game, you really are putting it up to a new level! It's a great deal to watch this, Man!!

Ben I should point out that McLaren weren't sponsored by Vodafone in 2006. After Tobacco sponsor West departed mid way through 2005 McLaren were without a title sponsor (much like they are now!) for the rest of that season and the whole of 2006 before Vodafone came onboard for 2007. The 06 McLaren was a gorgeous looking car though.
F1 games really need a season select option to let you choose whatever season you want the career to start with. Then the games could progress through all the historic teams and drivers from year to year and make it feel like a real career.

Yassine Saïdi a company already succeded. That company name is ISI (the one who made rfactor) amd the game is f1 challenge 99-02. It is the best f1 game that ive ever played
Thats my point though, that Codemasters has had the rights to the series this entire time. They should in theory be able to pull something like this off.
Ha21nagamas 3 ISI did not have an official FOM licence, and F1 Challenge came from a time where licencing terms were less expensive.
Codemasters buys the rights to the FOM for one year at a time, in one game. For more years in a single game, they'd have to pay a lot more.
Let's hope with Liberty Media it would be more lenient...

It might not have been the most competitive car but I love the MP4-21 sounds great looks great and last year of Fly Emirates looks great.

You did a superb job! I'm sure you'll have a real chance at winning the championship in the final season in this game, plus I'm glad you're racing for McLaren in the game! They're, like, one of my most favourite teams, and I would choose to race for them in the career mode in the F1 video games and help them win championships.
They are not auto spin kerbs. You spin if you take too much kerb when you have a low ride height - just like in real life.

This might sound like some pretty casual advice that anyone could give but when I’m racing in whatever vehicle, when someone is trying to pass me I get the inside line and when we are side by side during a corner I force them wide on the exit and off the track but without hitting them so I get the better run coming out of the corner
