Yea - Literally downloaded every one of these. As a pretty "vanilla-like" player as far as Addons go, these are extremely "background-like" addons, hardly noticeable but entirely useful and makes your life easier. Thanks for the quick vid.

Use threat plates instead of Platter Nameplates. it also shows aggro on every single mob. it is kinda important for AoE classes or, or especialy for tanks. then you see what Mob your gonna loose aggro soon. it helped me ALOT to become a good tank. I litterly never loose aggro again since i know what enemy i should hit next to not loose him to an AoE class.
If you want you can get addons/mod for plater that do the same, I just use the bar color to show me when I get/lose aggro. Red as dps you got aggro, red as tank you lost aggro
I've been playing WoW for over 17 years now and think this is a great list! As you said, It is good for both new and old players. When I would lead raids back in the day(my guild has mostly stopped playing and I hate pugs so I don't do much end game content anymore. Any fun nice people out there?), the only addon that I made mandatory was GTFO. Hands down the best addon in the game. I'm tellin' ya. It'll save your life!

I'm new in this game and don't want to change the game too much and want to enjoy it. I like add-on named Hekili because i don't know rotation of skills and this add-on is helping me with this, but i don't know if there is better add-on for it.
Good watch. I haven’t used add-ons since Wrath which is when I last raided with a guild. But I’ve been wondering what people use and recommend especially since I’d like to try healing again. Though I have to say, I have always felt like add-ons like DBM was cheating. Literally telegraphing what is happening. That’s why I hope raids and bosses in general get help from AI. Imagine raid make up determining what (thematically appropriate) major abilities are used by a boss including timing instead of the other way around. This would allow for myriad roster possibilities that each present their own challenges.
Appreciate that! DBM low-key used to be like a cheat code. However now they have removed a lot of the addons' access to the code they use in raid encounters so that they can't be that insanely helpful. It can warn you of upcoming mechanics but doesn't like play the game for you anymore lol. Definitely a necessary change because raiding was getting insane due to it....
Just coming back to WoW after a long break, and I loved this video. As a frost mage, I love the look of your mage UI shown during the video. Is there a way to find people's UI's and be able to download/instal their look automatically?
It's hard because it's usually a mix of a bunch of add-ons unfortunately. If there is a certain part of it like the WeakAura or something I can probably help! Thanks for watching 😄

Do any of these not let you roll in raid for loot? I have an anti sign next to my name when raid loot comes out and can’t figure out what add on is doing it.
@@papa2wars789 honestly this is pretty much it! I try not to use too many overall so I have these 10 and then like 1 for in game screen shots named narcissus and then auctionator for AH use. Blizzard has integrated a lot of the ones I once used into the game itself with Dragonflight fortunately.

ElvUI, AdiBags, Bigwigs, Plater, World Quest List, WarpDelete, Can I Mog It, Auctionator, OmniCC, Details, and WeakAuras for everything else.

I think it's Weakauras and i don't know if DeadlyBossMods needs any change in settings or not.
I like this guide, I would suggest two more addons, auctionator and bagnon

It's not really vanilla+ but OPie. Basically I have 4 "pies" for utilities and I have them on my mouse buttons and it's cleaned up my screen alot!
Definitely a great one once you start using lots of pots and get a bit more involved with combat for sure!

Most of WoW UI was originally addons.
True! They really allowed me to prune back the amount I needed for UI purposes and I love that.
