I found Dragon Rider to be something new for this long time player. Another fun addon That can be as deep or shallow in use that is unique is Opie. It allows multiple buttons to be bound to one key by showing a circle on screen with what you customized it to show and activate by mousing the angle to the button you want. I have used it for many years as my "one button-many mounts" selection customized with every mount I would ever use. Worth a check out and its pretty easy to use.
I feel like not enough attention is given to Titan Panel. Coordinates, location, repair status and cost, bag space available/total, experience earned/to next level, player gold/realm gold plus gold gained or lost during current session, and volume control are all accessed from a thin bar at the top of your screen. This is the one addon I feel lost without whenever I'm checking out something on the ptr or at the beginning of an expansion when most addons are broken.
Thanks for the video. I posted some of this in a previous video. An addon I would love to see come back is 3D Model Viewer. You might have recommended this addon a couple of years ago. It puts a "SHOW" button on your Target UI which, when clicked, will bring up a model window showing a close-up view of your target. Unfortunately, this addon stopped working in Retail with the 10.0 UI changes. It still works for WoW Classic. This was very useful to allow players to see the visual details of an NPC or monster that you normally are observing from your camera that is ten to twenty feet in the air.
GTFO will eventually make you rage lol. Better to use the built-in support for this feature in your instance helper of choice (DBM or my preferred option is Bigwigs + Littlewigs). Thanks for the vid Soul!
Does anyone know what happened to the altoholic addon and are they ever going to fix it? The point of the addon is to be able to see all your characters from one but since they did some major upgrade and wiped all the files it is broken.
@@lasselolo3526 Disagree entirely, new players will find it very helpful if they queue for Raid Finder or Dungeons, you don't get to mythic raiding unless you learn
addons make me feel incompetent, the screen gets flooded with information that changes every second and I can't keep up with it, and it seems like all other players don't have this problem, only me
Focus on a few things at a time. Especially if you have a goal set or are just seeking a particular thing. It’s subjective but try to approach it slowly rather than allowing the information to overwhelm you. Just take your time til it becomes familiar.
i came here looking for stuff like dps tracker, quest helpers, minimap addons, how to get several actions bars, etx. These addons you highlightwd are all irrelevant to me
Naw🤷🏾♂️, been playing since Vanilla w/out any. I play for fun, not Esport. If your a healer for a big raid, then yeah to add ons, otherwise any other class just pay attention, 🤷🏾♂️✌🏾✌🏾
Every time Soul drops one of these addons videos I end up with at least one more new addon.

I can look into fixing or reviving this addon.
That would be great! Thanks!@@Azrotv
World quest tracker is a must
I would love to see the add on that announces interrupts, feast or mage table drops and like CDs used or used on other players.
DBM + Weakaura specifically (Funki | Clickable Raid Buffs and Temporary Enchants)
AnnounceInterupts does just that

whats your transmog on Souladin 3:25 ? crazy

What's your transmog with the elementally looking stuff? Looks pretty great!
So wtf is demodel theres bartender 4, dominos, elvui,
What bag addon is that?
why have a healing trink as a tank
To heal better
as the Great Obi Wan said Exactly the video i was looking for
WoW is in a "great" spot that a beginner is to use "only" 7 add-ons.
Don't forget to recommend DBM for the new players. This will make WoW a better game.
I personally prefer bigwigs because it audibly calls things out
@reymann6691 BW is next level addon. DBM is just better for new players because it announces everything with voice commands.
@@Blessia999 valid
There is no point in having those addons as a new player.
It only really matters to mythic raiding.
@@lasselolo3526 Disagree entirely, new players will find it very helpful if they queue for Raid Finder or Dungeons, you don't get to mythic raiding unless you learn
There is a lot of addons they need to add for PvP, I mean only the ones that EVERYONE uses, that would be nice.

Gathermate 2
Asa colourblind gamer GTFO is amazing for me.
New players, please ignore the DBM comments. BigWigs is the way.
best addon for WoW is the "touch grass" addon where it just turns your pc off
You waste your time with this video. Not at all the must have addons for beginners. Just terrible .
great video
The default UI needs to go, it's ugly. Elvui needs to get built in.
Begginer? 😂

If you know what you’re looking for then search for that??? Not a video for new players?

Okay but apart from maybe gtfo none of these addons have to do with "improving" the combat experience
elvui details dbm and tom tom will give u majority of what u need
