Just changed grips this year to standard size +4. It relaxed my right hand grip pressure which was becoming overly dominant (snatchy) in takeaway and overactive through impact. Result was incredibly straight ball flight I mean like laser straight! All good

This is such an important topic. I have large hands and wear xl gloves. JumboMax grips have been great for me. As a plus they have helped tremendously with wrist and elbow pain. Likely due to working in the construction industry. I use the XSmall. They take a little getting used to but definitely worth it.

Great overview. Out of interest I trialled the Bryson Jumbo mid size grip on my 3 wood. Haven’t played for months due to UK lock down but I was very impressed. Absolutely smoked my 3 wood it couldn’t hit my driver to save my life.
Going to test the jumbo grip on the driver for something to do. I did find it kept the face more open and my strikes were pure even after the forced lay off!
Let’s see how the testing goes.

i think, this should benefit mostly those with a weak grip and seniors, but those with a strong grip, not necessary needed. other sports, if allowed it might help is tennis and baseball. then again, why don't they come with jumbo grips already or some sort of inflation system to adjust the size and grip for each club?

Awesome video. Switching down from a midsize back to standard.. right hand (rh golfer) can't sit neutral on the grip, the midsize is forcing a strong grip causing some nasty hooks. Gonna try to go thinner grip to have the hand sit more neutral comfortably.

    • @trottiegolf

No I think swing weights will be close but weigh the grips first and weigh the old grip as you remove it to be certain. Something to consider is regripping the wedge as the test club and not the driver. Reason being you might grip down your wedge on knock down shots which will highlight the +4 no taper , driver you’re just gonna grip it normal and full send so might not be your best test option.

Having trouble getting comfortable with my grip .. could this be that my grips are too thick. I am a medium glove and I recently had my clubs regripped to try different grips .. irons with standard Golf pride half-cord with one extra wrap on tape and a second extra wrap on the lower half. On my woods I put an MCC Plus 4 with one extra wrap under just to try it out. I firmly accept anyones belief regardless of my own because that persons belief adds value and meaning to their life that I would never wish to take away, however the most ironic thing to me in the world and peoples alternate beliefs of its creation is god and Jesus followers believe there is no alternate beings and that the bible is gospel and heaven and hell and and there is no such thing as another creator or species - without noticing the most obvious irony in mankind - if god created the the 7 days etc one day the sun then the earth etc - people are missing the most obvious tell of all time - god literally is an extraterrestrial, if outside of our planet he created the sun and moon and earth etc then he was not from this planet and therefore and extraterrestrial being from another world already created or creating him . . .
