That's how I always clean my Z1 intakes and if I need headlight access there's plenty. No jackstands needed either. AND: If you don't have the car jacked up, you can leave the DRL's plugged in....
@@ItsEricVenzon I'm planning on doing mine and it will run me around $600 using good quality lightings. And that's including the halo dual rings, demon eyes, honeycomb lens, morimoto controller and the morimoto xsb drls
Hey, maybe you mentioned it, but I didn’t get it. Where did you actually connected the wiring? I am not sure if you used original daylight wires or something else. Thank you!
19:56 - Morimoto sells the proper seals - and Lightwerkz also has breather plugs for anyone working on headlights or foglights that do not have them - such as - many of the overpriced aftermarket morimoto headlights/tail lights that people are now complaining about condensation ( So glad I did not blow $1400 on them!!!)... I think they're just junk slapped with the morimoto name...(bad move by that company!)
Wouldn't this being all black reduce your headlights by a solid amount because the chrome isn't reflecting the light? Also if you painted the orange pieces, how do the turn signals work now? :)
Because the light source is an HID bulb, it didn't affect the output in a significant way at all. The orange pieces are actually side marker reflectors. The turn signals are the led bulbs on the top part of the projector, so any light outputs weren't jeopardized at all.
Hey man! They're mostly Amazon stuff and for sure I can make you a list but 2 years later, im planning to redo them so it's your choice if you still want to go with this route 😬

Love how your vids have sections to find things!
Hey man! I'm glad you find them useful!. Thanks for checking this out. I'm going to do a V2 of my headlights this year!
Stay tuned for the 370z V2 Head Lights!
Very helpful video showing people how to do this including myself. I’m going to follow your video step for step thank you
Really appreciate the kind words! There are things that I could've done better but I'll be saving that to a v2 of the headlights next year! Good luck!
VNDRDOG Media can’t wait to see the V2s man. I’m gonna add some extras as well. Like a light strip and the turn signal halo as well😁
@@tatez342 i skimmed too hard on the quality so I'll replace the parts with better output and replace how the turn signal looks like. 👌🏼
VNDRDOG Media I think you did amazing. Cheap doesn’t always mean low quality. In my eyes you did it perfectly
i think our headlights look a lot better when modified than the morimoto headlights
Exactly! Don't get me wrong, they're cool but hella expensive but there's so much opportunities you can put on custom ones.

@@j.a.3138 Yo. I was planning to do a v2 headlights with Morimoto products! Let me know how it looks!
What a disaster do not take this sealed unit apart as it will never seal properly again and fog up
Thank god i made a second video for this 3 year old video. whew
Thanks for showing how to do
Of course! I'll have to redo the headlights soon!

I tapped the wires to the side marker.

@@borceapostolovski372 i got all of them from Amazon so links will be different. I've done a version 2 of my headlights and it's in my channel.
