Music sensitive RGB LED controller (sound visualization)

- Cheap ($2.50) LED driver that controls RGB stripe according to music bass line. Connected to 12V it detects music rhythm and flashed LEDs to the music.
This creates disco/club-like effect, visualizing BPM of your music.
Few modes: fade, flash, strobe. On the label it says that it can handle 3x2A output.

They need to make one with the input end a speaker input so that when you connect it to a subwoofer amp or something like that then it only lights up a certain amount brightness depending on the amount of bass.

Thank you, I discovered this, after I tried lots of failed circuits to make myself, Instantly got like 10 of them off of Ebay, Great purchase! I'm glad there is a ready to use solution for a music light.

I like to know if you can replace the Mic with a Line input jack. You got to play in loud to get it to change. Have controller setting on top of Bose Bass until. Shaking building just to see this work.
where did you get your led lights? I don’t want to have to do any sodering to set it up. Also the ones you have is there a way to buy 48 ft or more of it?

i have a cool question, do you know if it's possible to reprogram it? i mean ... the product is cheap and we can´t expect alot about it, but it's works just fine and about software i feel is where it's lack the more... they cold do alot more just with a few lines of code... i'm just wondering if with some program like arduino it's possible to reprogram that chip :)

Is it possible to desolder the microphone on board and replace with Mono 3.5 Cable instead, that runs to my computer for custom filter setup. E.g: high mid low filter adjustments etc.

No there is not a app if you have a smart one then you can but if you buy a new set of LEDs then that controller will work for both

Hi, I have a 3 pin led strip do you think that this controller will work although it’s 4 pin? And can you keep the same color for the music mode or it’s changing color by default?
junky product, power supply stopped working after 2 weeks, short in the cord somewhere
I bought one, but sadly it is just flashing very quickly and erratically! Not very rhytmic and just switches colors 10 times a second :/

If I remember correctly, there's a sensitivity setting so you can adjust it with the remote. Check your manual.
Matyscabreras yes you have to be in one of the music modes and use the brightness up and down controls for sensitivity.
Mine is doing this too 🤯 I'll let you know if I fix it

Hmm... I would add a potentiometer in between to adjust signal level and prevent damaging the controlled with high signal level. But I'm not an expert.

I don't know about syncing both receivers without just wiring two strips into one receiver, but you can use one controller for both receivers

I've fixed it. This controller is for 12V LEDs and I've got 5V LEDs. So I just bought a resistor, connected it and now it works.
My guess is that I need an RF box instead of an IR box, because the instructions tell me to hook it up to a 12v, which I did, but still get nothing. But for all I know, it could be a faulty battery in the remote. Not sure what I should do
