Its not standard because It’s a scale truck. Leaf sprung vehicle like older Toyotas and Jeeps have the shackles up front. A shackle reversal is actually a mod the full size truck guys do sometimes. It has its negatives and positives…
Just wandering I purchased the RC4WD kit because I am currently using the A&M kit and noticed a small loss in articulation, did you notice that using the Rc4wd kit? I'm building my 4runner and have both kits on hand just after losing articulation somewhat I am leaning towards the Rc4wd kit. I'm wondering if the longer pivot hangers is needed is why my A&m kit lost a little flex.
Thanks for sharing. Wow Rc4wd sells a truck that they call super scale and it’s not even scale with the wrong shackle setup. Waj! I’m assuming that the Teraflex gear will correct the problem also?
@@ProNoobRC I have the Teraflex gear on my Chevy blazer and it has a lot of flex. No problems. I heard you say in the video, that the mod shackles need a longer shock tower with longer shock? Thanks for sharing the knowledge. Rc4wd really amazes me how they sell something not scale
wow for a RTR Scale Rig the suspension is really really bad... you have to take apart the whole front to correct the suspension that is wrong out of the factory... nice.
The setup it originally had prevents axle deflection when you try bump up obstacles. That's what full size hardcore rockcrawlers have.
I think some Jeep’s are this way too from factory I do believe. Thanks for the info we didn’t know that
Such a killer rc . Great video bro
Yes!! They killed it on this one!
Nice! Love your videos guys!
We love you!
I’m not sure why this isn’t standard on the Tf2 yet
Agreed!

We didn’t find any major loss with the RC4wd ones at all no. And sorry not send Milyer with the A & M kit
@@ProNoobRC ok yes I haven't noticed a huge loss with the rc4wd kit either got mine installed thanks for the reply
Wow I never had to get that much work done on just a reversal kit.
Yup nothing half assed here. Best to do it right as the instructions are laid out from Rc4wd if we’re gonna make a video on it.
@@ProNoobRC awesome

Not the drop box shackles those are for the rear and I’ve never heard anything good about them

Only using one leaf spring insteaf of 3 per each?
2. Just removed the short one
@@ProNoobRC noted with thanks
QUESTION? if it’s an improper geometry setup from RC4WD, why do they sell it like this? Thanks
Old design chassis still in use. They may change it on the tf2 2.0 maybe?
@@ProNoobRC when is the 2.0 chassis coming out?
@@ProNoobRC do you know when the 2.0 chassis is being released?

Agreed lol. Be prepared to toss some money at this one!
