ACTUALLY: for any SSDs (no matter how it's installed, Windows knows automatically that it can reduce the lifespan, but clicking optimise will not do any harm, in fact it'll trim any space and make the OS work faster & easier since it allocates those trimmed files to be aligned with its other counterparts :)

every single new chapter or season...the fps drops are ridiculous....i have i9-9900k + rtx 3070...and i'm getting min.36fps, highest 80fps. with performance mode + and everything you did on the video...i also reinstaled windows, and its exactly the same bullshit...
performance mode is probably the cause of this, its not really suppose to be used if your system can already run dx12 just fine.

Yeah you should NOT be getting that low of frames man. On low settings you should be getting 200+ frames. i thought it might’ve been your cpu but i’m not sure

What if u are on an AMD graphics card can we still use performance mode
honestly it just depends if im not mistaken. ive heard using performance mode with AMD GPU's actually gives you lower and unstable fps, so use DX12 on all low settings
I use to get 240 fps no problem now I can't get 140 after the last update

Use DX12 and not performance mode!
Performance mode are for NVIDIA or intel gpu
overclock your ram and install revi os

Are you sure that your PC has above the minimum requirements to play Fortnite?

@@elgallorisky That's weird how your cpu goes to 100%, your PC is far better than mine (RTX 3060, I7 6700, 16gb DDR4 RAM.) and mine always works fine while playing fortnite. I really don't know what's going on. Maybe check how much your cpu usage you have without fortnite running? If it's a lot maybe close some background apps. If that still doesn't work maybe try taking it to a repair guy and they might be able to help you better.

Funfact he's recommanding perf mode instead of dx12
Perf mode have way more fps drop than dx12
If you're on amd and intel gpu dx12 is way better in term of stability
Funfact you can take out the grass on dx12 just and have mobile build like perf mode 😂😂
more stable if i see buildings i have 450 fps when i'm playing as usual i have 700 wow difrence af if you have bad gpu you get more input lag from maxing out the gpu so dx12 is bad idea

Setup the bechmark overlay and watch your 1%low on both mode and you'll see
