    I felt alone during years, thanks to my therapist i recognized i always isolated myself from others. I judged everyone badly before i could even know them, this was a defense that helped me ignore i actually didn't know how to connect with others. To me they just weren't enough. But the thing is i couldn't show my value to others also, because you need time and connection to do so. I proposed myself to make an effort to develop relationships, talk with people even if i might not like them, go to meetings if invited, invest time in my relationships, open myself to others. It's been months, and it's been very hard, and full of anxiety. But i've overcome it. Im sooo happy, can't wait to progress with time and became a very social human. Im doing lots of things i was afraid to do before. If anyone needs to talk im here.

    Thank you for everything you do and everything you are. I have now written and deleted several comments since I don't know how to express the immense gratitude I have for you. You have helped me so much and I am so looking forward to see how will I evolve in future. I almost never post comments but I do read all of your posts and watch videos. Thank you once more. This is so helpful because some of us struggle to be motivated. So basically setting tiny goals not only helps you change habits but it promotes self esteem when you reach your goal no matter how small. I just recently started giving myself credit for reaching tiny goals and I am becoming a happier person.

    Thank you so much for this, Dr. LePera, this is INCREDIBLY helpful. Being able to understand why we have these discouraging thoughts even as we try to change for the better helps to keep us from beating ourselves up over them and from feeling inadequate and powerless. It’s so freeing to become aware of that self-defeating mechanism... you explain it so clearly and sincerely. Namaste.

    Hi Dr.... So informative and yes its very had to create new habits, the resistance is sooo strong. But what it happened once before in my life is that after I have started believing in myself all crumbled right after the minute I started doubting myself ... The subconscious doesn't leave us in peace. It's almost like quitting nicotine if you know what I mean.

    Thank you for the amazing work that you do!
    I have had true amazing life shifts from creating new habits in my life (I have been working with daily meditation for two years now and occasional breathwork, some journaling and others). I agree, good habits can be life changing and I am grateful for having discovered and applied them in my life.
    But at this point in my life I feel that habits still are a form of conditional love (I love myself and I have a good opinion of myself only if I check these things off my list daily). I don’t know if this thought is just mental resistance… but sometimes I feel that my habits are a bit of a drag.

    • @TheHolisticPsychologist
      @TheHolisticPsychologist  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Thank you!!...I am wondering, can you do this with thought patterns? Now that I see my thoughts more, I am almost constantly worrying...I am guessing, I could just telling myself “come back to the present”, when I am worrying, and try to do this at least 5 times a day...? Thank you again! Your prompts are changing my life.
