$15 a day is pretty good Budget... if u on intermittent diet even easier... morning kopi o kosong so left $14 for 1 or 2 meals depending on ur diet Normally I buy a box of butterhead lettuce , cherry tomatoes , some eggs and chicken breasts for less than $15 & can eat for 2-3 days
Silken tofu with kuchai, soy sauce and some chilli flakes is sooo filling and one of my go toes for vegan protein on a budget. Saves sooo much money too
xbowman001 yeah you can eat it raw since tofu is basically cooked soy milk with a coagulant that makes the milk into a solid block. So you can eat it “raw” or steam it (for 10 mins) to eat it warm
Hi Tyen. Thanks for sharing a meaningful budget healthy food journey I would like to see more video of both a vegan diet and a vegetarian diet that will be helpful for me Thanks. All the best to you always support you cheers.
Great tips! But FYI, fish at the cai fan store usually costs more than other meats (and the oily fish is super oily!), so eating healthier proteins would be limited to tofu and eggs.
I’d like to see how to be fit as a vegetarian or vegan as it is commonly believed that there’s not sufficient protein for body building and toning! Looking forward to your vegetarian/ vegan videos!
hi! i love your videos!! i was wondering if you can do a video about healthy Meal prep on a budget for a week or more?(like $20 or $15 a day.) ....i live in the U.S.A. ...so can you make it so you can do it with food you can buy anywhere? Please!
Dora Ng: yeah, she smokes. That is one of the most unhealthy things someone can do... ps: it’s also pretty hypocritical that she spoke about incurring health bills in future considering the fact that cigarettes are expensive & so are the medical conditions that smoking leads to... also, production of Himalayan pink salt is done via mining which leads to various environmental impacts such as land disturbances & emission of greenhouse gases. It is also a finite resource. One more thing: the alleged health benefits of Himalayan pink salt have yet to be scientifically proven. It’s just a hipster trend. Tyen should consult a proper nutritionist or medical doctor before posting such information online. A lot of teens watch this show & tend to get influenced to want to purchase such items which are just hipster trends that do not have any conclusive scientific evidence of having any health benefits. Not everyone in Singapore is able to afford such trends that carry no health benefit.
I personally don't like tofu, so I get canned tuna flakes soaked in water for my protein when I meal prep my own salad! Anyway, would love to see you try out more diets, Tyen! :)
I agree. I spend about $50 a week and that is pretty good in my opinion.. Especially for a 20 year old lol. I try to find the deals and best value for money even if that means buying a huge bag of rice, that just means next week will be less than $50 because ive already bought rice for like a month lol. Idk I'm always getting better at making my money and meals last longer.. I also am feeding 2 other adults in addition to myself on ~$50(give or take) a week.
tbh it's actually really hard to find cheap, good AND healthy food in Singapore. One cup of bubble tea can already cost $4 and it ain't exactly healthy.
Honestly 10-12sd is already a big deal for a food budget on a day. What I hate about food in SG is that most hawker centers dont offer meal sets and you have to buy your drinks seperately.
hannah bellel you do know that this is a Singaporean based network though? Plus why does she have to cater to an American audience ? There’s thousands of other video for you to watch.
Thnks Tyen for sharing this video..i really love with ur channel.🤗 In Malaysia,it really hard too cut budget..😖 fruits are more expensive then meat..seasoning are triple expensive..everything are expensive..😂 how i wished that RM4 can be RM1 here..hihi.. btw,u look so beautiful Tyen..😘👍
The resistance bands ship internationally, the US included :) International shipping for the yoga mats is too expensive due to the weight so that's for local Singapore orders only.
Hey Tyen! You could try asking for half rice/less rice when you order cai fan next time! Can waste less food hahaha
If you watch her ig stories, in real life she actually orders 1/2 rice or no rice at all! I think it was to visually represent what 3.70 could get you
Jade Rasif Glad to hear that! Thanks for clarifying 👍🏼
@@jaderasif8932 Love you Jade! You are amazing!

I can personally attest that she actually asks for less rice, I think it was just to illustrate the point in the video for the viewers.
There's also the super filling $4.99 cold storage salad where you can choose your own vegs and toppings. A super filling and nutritious meal!
Yup! I love their cheap salads!

Can just eat it raw?

Hi Tyen, could you do a video on beginners' guide to simple exercises at home? That would be great!
Pls do some meal prep ideas and some tips and advices in the preparation and the storage life of the food. Thank you! You’re my motivation :’)

Do the vegetarian diet. Being a vegetarian and a casual runner, will like to see how the nutritional needs is met. Love ur show. 💓💓💓
But u cant eat anything outside in sg if u are vegetarian

Exercise.
If that doesn't work, it could be a thyroid problem. Best to consult a doctor.
Maybe because of exercise, I guess. You can walk more than usual or head to the gym aye:)
