If you have another LifeStaff with Blessed, run some tests. Even with lower focus, other LifeStaffs (with Blessed as well) are healing way more then faction's one. Greetings from Brazil!

You get more blocks than dodges in heavy, plus you get 15% more block stability. Orb has a healing output increase, fortify on team mates is damage reduction which reduces the amount of heals they need. Beacon can be placed on enemies attacking you

Why is blessed squished? Also, in my testing, armor bonus to healing is working. I would recommend dropping the 3m extension to orb of light for pvp and instead using the point elsewhere, like 10% healing if you have a buff or 20% buff duration (which applies to beacon and seems to be stacking with my 20% duration increase from focus). My reasoning is that OoP already affects targets in an area if it hits an object or target or passes through them - try it yourself, it's about the size of sacred ground. Additionally, the self fortify and recovery is not typically worth the point in war, imo. You are likely standing on some sort of healing, especially if heavy armor - there are so many other places to utilize these points. I cannot remember where, but I seem to remember reading the way heal overwriting works is that it favors the higher focus caster, not simply overwriting by refresh. I was unaware of the broad scope of what counted as a 'buff' for the healing. That definitely increases its utility, but the multi target healing utility from divine embrace is very strong too. I'll have to try it out. This video is amazing and thank you for taking the time to tell us where we can find useful gear.
how did you test the armor bonus to healing? I did a direct comparison completely naked vs wearing heavy armor. The heavy armor I wore and the life staff used to test both scenarios all had zero stats on them for consistency. I used beacon as it's flat HPS regen. I had zero crit chance and the attributes were the exact same for both tests. I got results that showed naked (light armor) vs heavy yielded the exact same results and HPS. What did you do different or did you test recently after the latest patch because my test was last week before patch.

Beacon, Orb of Protection and the buffs it applies do not benefit from any healing increase. Test with a targeted heal like Sacred Ground or Divine Embrace and you will arrive at the same conclusion that I have. I reiterate for emphasis here that NON TARGETED SPELLS DO NOT RECEIVE HEALING BONUS. I have created a bug report about this. If it is intentional, it's unclear. If it is not intentional, it is a bug. There was a time when it was definitely not working. But for me, it was working. It may be player based bug. I also want to add that there are seriously wonky mathematics at play - which is why I was interested in this squishing of Blessed stat the creator spoke of. Some of my theoretical calculations are no where near my actual results in scenarios that match what I have learned so far about healing and the healing bonuses.

@@2j310 sry was driving, ok so beacon was a bad choice to test with because of non-targeted healing bonus. At least sacred grounds works. Well Beacon does have a long CD but it does provide aoe healing where OOP and Divine Embrace won't trigger aoe unless target is less than 50% which shouldn't happen in first place unless spiked. But yes it's worth testing again after patch. I'm in the same boat with never having any azoth. Yeah same with blessed diminishing returns, there must be a soft cap.
if you get hearty on 1 jewelry (+stamina) then you can dodge 3 times in heavy armor. AND if you go secondary sword/shield you can throw down heals then tank pretty good.
if u have multiple people using different talents for Sacred Ground/Beacon it makes them stack but only if they have different upgrades like 1/3 2/3 3/3 etc
Baggins - Can you do an updated review of armour. Im seeing lots of folks saying full heavy now for cleric. Is your stance still 2 pieces and stay in medium?
I suppose folks have old/ outdated information about heavy armor. It was patched in that light armor gives you 20% more heal. I use pants/legs as medium and it is still considered "light armor". In case you can use medium armor. Heavy I think loses your heal bonus but is maybe slighty better in PvP. For PvE do NOT use heavy armor and I did even never see any healer with heavy armor

@@fabiangomez357 There's a really nice 500 iL earring from Dynasty Shipyard. Gives 24 focus, calm (threat reduction), refreshing cooldowns and duplicating toast. That's what I've been using. There's also the Il-Gotten Gain you can farm out in the world which is basically the same thing but gives Con instead of Focus.
@fabian gomez currently I’m using warlords regrets which is the only piece earrings that I have currently. It’s not good at all since it gives 10 def and 7 focus but that’s all I have at the moment
hello, did you test using intel scalling gems in a life staff? i was thinking of playing gauntlet+life staff investing most on intelligence. Will heals scale with the % of intel of the gem or only from focus?

I run divine embrace lights embrace and splash of light for my PvP build. We normally run in 10 man grps so the other healer is aoe and I have 4 melee with me. Biggest heal so for has been 3 melee healed with divine embrace for 7.2k
Has it been confirmed that the weapon mastery needs to be lvl 20? Because I have my 580 Great Axe quest and the mastery is only 17. Maybe the requirement as far as mastery is lvl 15 and not 20?
Guys. I want to play with my friend in one faction but the Greens have majority on the server so I can't chance factions. If I delete my character and create new one would I be able to join greens even if they still took most of the map ?
Figured I'd let you know after some major testing on my own behalf because i found things wonky af when using Orb of Protecton, the last two "buffs" on that skill actually bug it out and make it to where you don't HoT as much as without them and you still get the AoE effect without the final point in... so you might wanna do so testing on your own but that was my findings
I would love to know @2:40 why you think a GS of 6 is "A huge difference" It does 2 thats TWO more damge and has wank perks, I honestly do not understand why people think you have to get a high GS.....Sure if you have a GS of 400 then go for 500+ but the difference between GS550 and 600 is not that much
Apparently that was removed in the last update (1.0.4), now the heal & cleanse on light and heavy respectively from passive require a direct hit on your allies (and you can't use them on yourself anymore)
This is a video I keep pushing to my brother who's kind of resigned himself to healing since we constantly do stuff together and I'm the tank. What I need is: A tank equivalent of this video. Obviously full Voidbent for armor, but wepaons and accs would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise I'll just end up making my own accs and hoping for Sturdy/Hearthy perks..
How to avoid the mobs aggro in PVE? When the taunt is down, the mobs away go after the healer or the mage. Is there any trick to minimize your threat beside the carnelian gem? Great vid btw
Hey. Very usseful, i still didnt watch till the end.... I am a 100% healer as well, and using medium category of weight. To do that always take a heavy armor, light legs, and then You can chose. 1 more heavy item (gloves, boots, helmet) and the rest medium. This way , you will be able to always stay at 29,5-7 just bellow the limit. I am so exited about this vid, I could wait to the end. Already writen some tips on paper :) Love Your job. And sorry for my writing xD
I really think splash of light really needs a buff. I crit heal for around 1400 at 35 combat and when I use splash it's only 400 which doesn't even seem worth it to me tbh . Takes too long to cooldown aswell.
If I'm feeling particularly lazy would being full heavy for pvp and pve a bad idea? I really like the idea of being a super tanky healer even in expeditions.

Energizyng satysfing meal ( or someting ike that) Gives 25% i thnk for 35 min? And it gives You a "buff" :) Only my opinion, don't take me wrong mate. You are much better healer then me. I just share my opinion :)
Can anyone explain me how he self cast's the spells so fast? Like most of the time my speels arent locked on me, and light's Embrace most of the Times is targeting the ground '-' Any advice?
You might want to test intensify, because it does nothing. If you duel some guy and let him lower your health, then stack intensify and heal yourself compared to zero stacks you get the same amount healed.
I finished the Glimmering Mercy questline today and I wish SO badly I'd listened to you and avoided that quest. It may be 580 but it is NOT worth the time and effort. I'm sticking with my 525 faction Life staff

Live staff = Diamond, Ice Gaunlet = Amber. Live staff = focus, Ice Gaunlet = constitution. Nothing goes into intelligence. Heal scales from focus.

I would say get 100 constitution for the armor to health buff and the rest to focus if you are doing mainly lifestaff

Carry an ice gauntlet and use the tomb (I think) ability, most of the time they lose aggression on you. Or pray your team cares about their healer

Currently with the light and medium armor healing bonuses being broken just stick with Heavy unless you want to dodge.

The CTRL button self targets the heal. This can be done before or after selecting the heal.
