I wanna run a 18 in a 6th order bandpass box in my living room off my MA AUDIO 3600 watt amp, now if I'd stop having strokes that would be great ( I have had 5 before 37, also beat kidney cancer, no appendix or gallbladder, diabetes [ type 2 ] ,Lyme disease, I need to catch a break
Jesus man! I’m sorry to hear about your health. That’s insane. I hope you can overcome it, and keep on going. I built a championship 6th with 2 18’s. 4.25 cubes per 18 rear, with a single 8” port between the pair. Then the front chamber was about 40 cubes for the pair. Not sure of front port tuning, adjusting the loading wall didn’t affect it much. And not sure how that translates to a living room but it may be a good place to start
I used to have two OG xplod 15"s they were decent, they bumped loud but their power handling wasnt great, i had them on a two channel amp @ 1kw each. Blew one of them, the other lasted a while. They sounded good, but again build quality wasnt the greatest and power handling was meh but they were decent performers.
Hello, I have a question, I have Alpine S-S65 speakers in the front and Alpine S2-S50 in the back. And I have an amplifier Alpine BBX'F1200 600w. Is it not too weak, and what is the best way to connect it so that I play as well as possible and not lose ohms .?
man i would love to work on on of your broken amplifiers i have some very high power transistors I'm trying to put together some very large power amplifiers for my home oh by the way I'm handicapped and live in Nichols county was hoping you were close to where I live hoping you know brise oh well thought you give me a ballpark to how close we are
Hey hey hey leave Orion alone bro 😅. I love my HCCA 12. I may not be into actual competition car audio but I've had it since 2010, its outlasted multiple vehicles of mine and is in my current daily driver right now still bangin at 3k rms
I’m sure it does great, I’d say it sounds really good. They just really aren’t too efficient lol. I remember 2018 finals, db drag. Team Orion was there and they just kept re trying the lanes, and kept demolishing their subs and couldn’t get the score lol. Orion people were there and they just had gobs of recones on site lol. I want to get one some day to actually test and compare to others.
@@Bangbro4000back in the day i ran Orion XTRs on a US Amps, and the Orions were a dumpster fire. And i didnt clip the shit out of them either. The HCCA i think is quit a bit below the splx, i think the splx is rated 7500 Rms and will burp double or more. (I speak completely from what ive read, never used one, as i cant afford a 160 pound 12" subwoofer, im one of the "poors")

Stop building those giant boxes and use isobaric loading, and reclaim your home.

I'm sure it's freezing because it's probably not meant to deal with that type of wind overwhelming the mile

I wonder what the Sony Xplod will do when fed 60Hz at 120V, PLUG IT IN!!!!
That’s my plan man! Why I tuned it to 60hz lol. I’ll do a video on regluing the surround and do a few more tests, then hit it with a wall socket
👍🏿
rip the surround on the sony it did a good score tho for being old. rockford did very good with that 170db
Heck yeah man, I’m going to reglue it, and bang it even harder lol

Id love to have a few HCCA/splx 12s! I run the HCCA/splx 3k amp, and it seems to hold its own in its class of similar amps

@@Hammerback0 the HCCA is about half of what splx model is. They're rated rated at 3k RMS and supposedly can hold closer to 5k
